This subreddit is for news items pertaining to all aspects of law and the legal system, both in the USA and abroad. Think of this place as a more hard-news oriented /r/law, or a more legal-focused version of /r/news or /r/worldnews.

Use the report function to notify the mods of comments or submissions which violate the rules, and try to keep the discussion civil and informative. Hopefully, we can all learn from each other.
