It's Wednesday, you know what that means.
For our final (currently scheduled) AMA of the year, the founders of Hearing Things (Andy Cush, Dylan Green, Jill Mapes, Ryan Dombal, and Julianne Escobedo Shepherd) will join us this Friday, December 20th @ 2pm ET/11am PT!
In case you aren't already aware, Hearing Things is a new independent music site founded by Cush, Green, Mapes, Dombal and Shepherd who are all editors who have previously worked at Pitchfork, The Fader, Vibe, Spin, and a host of other culture publications. They launched in October, and aim to provide a human alternative to the algorithmic churn, mixing criticism with reported journalism and conversational blog posts. Right now, they're in the midst of the Best of 2024 coverage, with lists coming in so far from Julianne, Dylan and Andy. Plus, there's a great investigative piece from Andy on the DOJ's antitrust lawsuit against Live Nation, and how it might be affected by the upcoming Trump presidency.
If you'd like to further support Hearing Things, look at their many subscription options for how you can support the site and independent music journalism.
So, swing back this Friday as the team behind Hearing Things join us for an AMA!
Hi- It's me James Petralli.
Thanks for your questions everybody-and thanks to Matt, Josh, Michael, Jacob, and Cat for jumping in with me. Love to all!

Talk about anything music related that doesn't need its own thread. This thread is not for discussion that is tangentially music related; that belongs in the general discussion threads. If you're new here, we encourage you to introduce yourself and tell us about music you're passionate about.
