I bought some new Airpod Pro 2s a while ago and have been enjoying them with no issues while listening to music. However, when I tried calls, I constantly have issues where they disconnect and reconnect. I'll often be on a call and wonder why they're silent.... look down at my phone and realise the audio is coming from the iPhone speaker.
It doesn't matter which soo I use (Discord, Telegram, phone etc) the problem persists.
I did some investigation and it seems that many other Xs owners have the same issue
Just wondering if anyone here has the same issue or actually managed to fix it?
So I have this iPhone X max that I had about 3 years and I pay like 2.99 a month for storage to back it up, the card I normally used to back it up I lost it and I had deactivated it so it stopped backing up(unbeknownst to me) so the phone recently fell and the screen cracked and it started go have severe touch issues where it started touching by it self and it do so so man times that it entered the password incorrectly until my phone started say iPhone unavailable. I go to university and I save alot of things In my notes like passwords essays ect I also have some important pictures from years ago and so crucial app data i can't lose Is there any way to get all this data back off the phone with out it being factory reset im desperate and I don't even care how much it would cost I cant lose all that information off my phone
For some time now I have realized that when I am receiving call on iPhone XsMax through the earpiece the sound is very low even though the volume has been set fully high.
Is anyone experiencing this?
What is the possible solution. Because of this I now pick call using my iPod or at loud speaker.
Any help?
Hello,
We know that a slow charge is better for batteries and that using a power supply that has not too many watts is better.
But on the other hand, is there a minimum power required for a slow charge of a device like iPhone XS max?
I mean if the amps are not enough would it cause a kind of fighting between phone and power supply that would be counterproductive. Or even, damage the power supply or the phone.
i have old power supplies in my drawer, for example 0.5 amps or even 0.125 :)
What do you think?
Thanks
Coming from an ip xs max, im a girl, had this phone for 4 years, often love the big screen, sometimes has difficulties but i am used to the max screen, holding smaller vers of my friends' iphones feel nicely comfortable but feels oddly small for me. Keeps me wondering would it better to have a pro but also would i miss the max size? So idk which of these are better to have next.
(Cant get 15 series only 14pm the highest option)
So here
13pro or 14pro?
14pro or 13promax?
13promax or 14pro max?
Hello guys,
I am looking for some features to display on my locked screen a message “Please dial 06 60 10 11 12” if you find this phone.
(of course, an alternate number, not the iPhone's one).
I’ve been told that some features on recent iOS exist, but I'm still in version 15 and do not wish to upgrade for now.
Many thanks
Hey yall. I still have the iPhone XS Max as a backup phone. Got the 14 pro max launch day as i couldn't handle the battery degradation anymore. Really wanted to wait for the 15 pro max unfortunately.
But anyway. My Xs Max is at 79% battery life. And on top of that, the charging port barley works and cannot charge the phone except for when it's charging in a specific angle. The only workaround i have to charge the phone is to wireless charge it, luckily.
My question is does anybody know how much is cost to replace the charge port to a new one? And has anybody else had that same problem? I have no idea how the charging port even got so damaged.

I am upgrading po from an Iphone Xs Max 64gb. Storage not a prob w me because I dont take a lot of storage. I am at 55gb even now here in my Iphone xsmax.
Going to buy from trusted 2nd hand shops, Im choosing to upgrade between
Iphone 14 pro max 128 gb ($960) [₱48k] or Iphone 13 Pro Max 256gb ($780) [₱39k] ?
Cant afford to go higher than $960 ₱48k so cant get higher units
I am torn between the two because I plan to keep the phone i'll choose again for the next 3-4 years, and I was thinking with the dynamic island on 14pm i could be updated with the coming years, although through my research it is said that there is no big difference with the 13pm, and that 13pm is the best. So i cant decide.
Thank you so much
hi guys,
this concerns all iPhones, not only XsMax.
so, this combo micro-usb + lightning sounds convenient as i also have another phone.
BUT
as you can see, on one side there are the 8 pins for Apple devices,
on the other, it is just flat metal.
i'm wondering if this flat metal would be harmful for the iPhone.
not sure the flat metal would be applied on the 8 pins though, there could be a slight distance.
or some kind of coating above the metal that provides insulation.
what do you think? anyone has one?
thanks
So I finally upgraded to iPhone 15 pro max. I don’t find any difference except the smoother screen😭 The cameras in my XS MAX were good too. This one has a wide angle camera which I don’t know if I’ll use much
I upgraded just because of the battery life, and I wasn’t disappointed.
Anyways I still have my XS MAX and will use it as a secondary device.
Yes or no
Hi all. 81 percent battery here, use daily since new. Lately I’ve been having unreal battery life using
Cell only, no wifi Charging only to 85/90. Use till 25 or so. Dark mode, all background off. Shortcut goes into low power immediately after unplugging from charge.
I got 4 days, from 88 percent Friday am to 25 percent this morning. Unsure if it was a glitch but would you guys try these settings, see if it helps your xs max?
I don’t consume much on it. Maybe that’s why it lasted too
hi,
i incidentally found a case for XS max that has a magnet to fit to a Magsafe wireless charger.
so, why not trying this..
as of today, what is the power / time to charge an XS max this way?
- will it be 5w, 7.5w, 10w, 15 w
- what iOS version is required
- is the expensive Apple Magsafe charger worth (might consider also future use when i upgrade device)
- what other "magsafe magnet format" third party charger would you recommend.
- and what power supply is required: non specific, quikcharge, PD... (to feed the wireless accessory, not the phone directly)
actually, i don't know yet if i am interested by quick charge, or only overnight (if so, the slower the better afaik)
thanks!
So my iPhone XS Max (which I’ve had since a week after it came out in 2018), says that my battery’s health percentage is down to 77% which according to the phone “advises replacement”….I’m currently running iOS 16.7.2, had considered jailbreaking but don’t think I will; I just want to make sure whenever I do update it’s to a STABLE OS with GOOD wifi connection, maybe a modem update, not too heavy on resources, and doesn’t drain my battery. As it is now every once in a while I get this like, dark shade/shadow thing covering the bottom right corner of my screen.
Main question: should I/is it safe to update my XS Max from 17.3.1 when my battery is on 77%??
I have an XS max and I’ve had it since it came out and I’m just ready for an upgrade. I’m thinking the 14. How much do you guys think I could get for it. It’s in good condition except for the back glass is cracked. I want to consult with Reddit before I go to Verizon to see.
Should I do the upgrade finally?
How many years would you think it has left for updates?
Apart from having a XS Max myself, I have other newer iPhone as well. But the XS Max just feels and looks like the best one to me. That’s why I would want another one.
Has anyone updated? I don't want my battery and charging to be affected again
