so for christmas i asked for a gold phone, didn’t really want a 13 because it’s too new, didn’t want a 14 because i didn’t want dynamic island, and the 15 didn’t come in gold at all so my only choice is a XS MAX or a 11 Pro Max…help me choose?
ps. i’m moving down from a 6.1” 12 but that doesn’t bother me
Hi, I’ve been experiencing Gmail app stuttering a sometimes even freezing for a couple of seconds, especially when opening it through notification. I’ve noticed, that it’s been happening since iOS 17 update, I am on 17.1.1 atm and update the app regularly.
Does something like this happen to you as well?
(Could it be also caused by using multiple accounts?)
does anyone know how to fix iPhone is charting but not increasing
This battery issue is so annoying. I did the restart thingy and it got back to normal. And then after a few days, the same happened.
Reported to Apple and they first either blame the charging cable or they blame my perfectly good phone which had no problems before upgrading to iOS17.
Was someone able to fix the issue ? Will iOS 17.1 fix this issue? 😫😫
So updated the phone to ios 17 and now the battery isn’t charging properly. It would be at 10% and then an hour or two of it charging it would still be at 10%. Anyone else having this problem?
So my Xs Max is overheating like crazy in the last month or so. I don't even play games or doing anything intense, just regular daily usage. Any ideas what is going on?
With ios 17 just rolled out, do you guys think this is the last major update for the XS, XS max and XR? It has reached its final year of 5-year software support and its the next in line to be eliminated from the list but some internet sources say we may still get the 18 (and 19???) since its an S model and the last S models were supported longer just like what happened to 6s and 6s plus? What do you think?
Hey guys
Are you planning to update your iphone xs max to ios 17? and those who tried the beta how’s the performance?
Got a refurbished pristine condition xs max with a new battery installed.
However when I use Face ID it has this white light that that pops up, I have uploaded a video
Hello everyone. I'm a fairly new iPhone user. Two months ago i bought a pre-owned XR in a stored that sells HSO and used iPhones. It was a pretty good experience but i wanted a bigger screen, and the store gave me the option for trade in. I chose to change to a XS Max with a 100% battery health and got it a month ago. It's an Apple Replaced device (N serial). I'm absolutely satisfied with it but for one thing: the phone gets warm a lot in the upper and middle back part beside the cameras with only light use like WhatsApp chat or browsing Instagram, no other apps opened in the background. This did not happened to the XR and neither does happen with my other phone while using the same apps (a Nothing Phone 1). I did the first upgrade to 16.5 iOS by cable in iTunes and later to 16.6 by OTA.
I come from 10 years using Android and usually those got warm only for a few days after an OS update but i wonder if this warming up is common to iPhones or should i get the phone to the store? It has a 90 days warranty by them. Also, a factory reset might help before taking it to the store?
Thanks to anybody who can give me pointers.
Looking to get an xs max just for a year till my upgrade and all I say is ones with no Face ID. I actually already bought 2 and had to send them both back as the listing said it worked when it didn’t.
Is the Face ID not working after it gets fitted a new screen or battery?
Both front and back are broken, apple store offers exchange for $779.. is it worth? The phone is working fine so I don't wanna obsolete it :( Third party offers $100 for back fixing but I saw some reviews that third party might cause issues.. Do you guys think worth it?
I made some research and they said that xs max has NFC and it’s automatically turned on unlike the other newer versions. Although the apple pay isn’t allowing me to activate my card so I can use it for one tap payments. What should I do?
Could anyone tell me if the problem I had read about earlier this year with the XS Max & AirPods Pro 2 is still an issue? It had to do with answering a call while wearing the AirPods Pro 2 and some kind of delay that occurred only on the XS Max. Thanks for your help!
