Memory is a bit hazy on how I got into Hole but I think what might have happened is my sister who loves Hole and Cortney Love might have recommended it to me and so I gave it a try. So damn underrated, these songs are awesome and have become some of my favourites, thanks sis.

I think Courtney before all her plastic surgeries was really unique looking in a beautiful way. Its weird how a surgery can change how someone looks almost completely. Shes always been beautiful but I appreciate the way she looked before too.

Since we won't ever get Hole again, I decided a tribute band would be the next best thing, surprise, they're all in the US.

I sing and am soon to learn guitar, I'd absolutely love to be in a band where I can do Hole covers for Hole fans in the UK one day.

What are your thoughts?

Hi! I was just wondering if anyone knows what chords are being played in that little guitar break in Asking for It that comes after the “If you live through this with me…” bridge (2:29-2:39).

I’ve seen online tabs say that it’s supposedly D E/D C or D C D C D but none of those sound quite right to me. Or maybe it’s just being strummed a certain way to sound that way and I’m not getting it right? I’d appreciate any help!

Hey everyone!

I’m a "scene" kid, through and through, metalcore, deathcore and all that is my thing but recently I've become super fixated on Hole... I've been digging into some of their stuff, and I’m really liking tracks like; Asking for It, Doll Parts, Miss World, Petals, Violet, Celebrity Skin, Malibu, Reasons to Be Beautiful, and anything they do.

And so I'd like to get recommendations on where to go from here! I'm also curious to learn more about Hole and Courtney Love, she's fascinating and so interesting. However I know that info on subcultures and bands can get watered down lately, so if anyone has advice on where I can find accurate, non misleading info about them, I’d really appreciate it.

Does anyone know the history between Courtney and Inger?

I've never heard either one talk about each other but they clearly had some kind of relationship and fallout given Inger's voice message showing up in Sassy.

Also, Courtney spoke on Kat as her mutual inspiration for her aesthetic around the early 90s, but if you look at the following video by the Nymphs (of whom Inger leads), there's obviously a prototype of Courtney's look - complete w/ frolicking in an English garden as seen in the Doll Parts video:

I think i have seen/heard every Hole related contend out there worth seeing. And now i am 45 and gone trough severe burn out,cant stand loud voices like i used to. I'm so angry at times that i still want to blast pretty on The inside and miss blasting Atari on headphones. Any good suggestions for angry playlists that are not so screeeeem!!!!! Passive. Hi! Middle age Hole/Nirvana fan here to maybe wanting to Sale Magazine covers articles etc. Lets just say i try to Be adult and have old suitcase full of Hole and Nirvana covers and articles. Mostly NME an Melodymaker things, but also some rareties maybe. Havent looked them ahwile. If i had childrenI would keep them, but since they just lay there now and i would like to pass them on ,i just wonder what to do with them. (Wife has similar problem with rolling Stones pharnapelia. :D ) I was huge Hole\Nirvana fan in the 90' and cried a week in My bed when Kurt died. And viciously hated Evan Dand o w/ Courtney 🫣 Courtney and Kurt was The fantasy that helped me survay trough school. But i'am 45 years old now and have some Time on My hands. Is there a buyer market for this or shoul i just keep on like 20 More years. ( Could Be trayed If you happed to have some cool placebo or riot girrl stuf.
