Hey everyone, so, I live in Brazil and I think a good bunch of their albums is “region locked” ive tried using a vpn and could only get 3 working, but I still can’t listen to pop tune, rock animal, ramones forever, adventure, scp, free time and more on spotify 😭😭. Also I can’t find our best place anywhere on youtube. IMPORTANT: would anyone be kind enough to send me an email with the songs or on google drive maybe?

I discovered shonen knife a year ago in a secondhand CD store, I found the "explosion" cd and thought it looked cool. I listened to it a couple times and liked it, then slowly started listening to them more. I've recently been on a Shonen Knife kick, and I'm listening to their whole discography and my favorite songs are Buttercup and Muddly bubbles hell. I love shonen knife

I pre-ordered from HHV in April, and since then the pre-order date changed at least 3 times, now moving to shipping from 31th January 2025. Wanted to know if someone knows the reason of soo many delays from P-Vine Records, since HHV blame it on supplier delay.

I remember reading somewhere that shortly before forming as Shonen Knife they’d gotten hired to do background music for John Lennon in Japan. Of course the gig didn’t last. I was relaying this factoid but someone didn’t think it was true and now I’m wondering if I’d been misinformed somewhere. Did any of the members of Shonen Knife have anything to do with John Lennon’s come back tour before he died?

Of course we all have more than one but the live version of "Top of the World" from YouTube just makes me break into a sweat playing air drums. I like the heavy chords of the lead guitar. That doesn't exist in their current sound. It's on my driving to the gym playlist.

Very nice 30 min. podcast from Seattle non-commercial radio station KEXP. Interview segments with Naoko and Atsuko. Primarily about early Shonen Knife history and connection to Kurt Cobain.

It must have been wiped from like, everything on the internet because I’ve checked YouTube, Wayback Machine, even some torrenting sites and it’s like this video doesn’t exist!

My dad introduced me to the band’s music through that video when I was still quite small, so it would mean a lot if anyone knows where to point me, thanks so much!
