I'm looking for a narrow (~20" wide) nightstand that has bookcase-style shelves above and storage below, something very similar to this:
As much as I like the product in that image, it's from Litfad, which seems to have a terrible reputation as a scam company. Does anyone know where I can find something similar--a narrow bookcase combined with a nightstand table--from a reputable company with good quality? I've seen some on Amazon but they tend to have a very modern look with cheap engineered wood and aren't quite what I'm after.
I live in an old building with super high ceilings in the US. Our bedroom doesn’t have a closet and we’re low on floor space, but we have tons of wall space to work with. The piece needs to be no wider than 56” but can be 80”+ tall. Just to give you an idea, we have the CB2 96” bookshelf and it easily fits in our office with extra space above our books (about a foot and a half above the books/decor).
I know in Europe armoires/wardrobes like these are easy to find. When I lived in a prewar building in Vienna we had a crazy high armoire in our bedroom and it was pretty cheap. But in the US I can’t find anything even close! I live in a large city, so I went to some local stores thinking they may have items more suited to local needs, but nope!
Our apartment is a rental and even though we’ve been here 9 years, I’d prefer not go over 2k since who knows if it can be a lifelong piece. Right now we have a nice looking closet organizer that we retrofitted to go on the wall. But dudes, we would love to upgrade to something with doors.
Lastly, decor wise, one or two of something pictured below would be the dream, but at this point I’ll take something that just blends in nice too. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
We are looking at their Vestry Coffee Table, but their flagship store is too far for us to visit.
Does anyone have any experience with Maiden Home and can comment on the quality of the woodworking/carpentry on their tables, and how they’ve held up over time?
TL;DR: Looking for a modular couch (under 90") and a Japanese chabudai-style coffee table. Need suggestions!
Hey everyone,
My wife and I are on the hunt for some new living room furniture and would love some recommendations that fit our needs. We're working on creating a space that's cozy, functional, and works for both of us. We spend a lot of our weekends relaxing on the couch playing board games and watching movies, so it’s been our mission to find something comfortable for lounging and sleeping.
We’re looking for a modular couch that’s no longer than 90 inches. We’ve looked at the Ohmu Teddy and Poufdic Teddy, but they’re a bit out of our budget. We want something similar in style and comfort that can be rearranged into a deep two-seat chaise, but also expanded into an L-shape or a 3-seat couch with an ottoman when we have guests.
We’ve considered Lovesac for their customization options, but we’d love to hear any other suggestions!
We’re also looking for a coffee table, particularly something like a Japanese chabudai.
We’ve found we rarely use our dining table anymore, so we’re hoping for a coffee table that can serve as a spot for meals, board games, and working on a laptop. Here are a couple of options we've found:
Any advice or recommendations for comfortable and versatile furniture would be greatly appreciated!
I'm looking for hyped or trendy furniture brands, especially for wooden TV sideboards and a good dining table. I already know about USM Haller, but it's not my vibe. So far, I've discovered Kave Home, Westwing, Tikamoon, and Lakwerk. Any other recommendations?
Thanks in advance!
I’m looking for recommendations for trendy furniture brands that offer high-quality wooden TV sideboards and dining tables. My budget is up to €1200, and I’m located in Germany, so EU-based brands or stores with shipping to Germany would be ideal.
I’ve already come across Kave Home, Westwing, Tikamoon, and Lakwerk, but I’d love to explore other options.
To give you a bit more context:
Any suggestions or hidden gems you’d recommend? Thanks in advance for your help!
28m looking for a comfortable sofa/modular/sectional to lounge in and play video games or watch movies. I like the look of the cloud sofas but the one I really like is expensive (Albany Park Kova).
RULE 4 REQUIREMENTS:
LOCATION: Kentucky
BUDGET: $1500
SIZE WANTED: 100-140 inches long
STYLE: Soft, Modern, Minimalist
WHERE YOU HAVE EXHAUSTED YOUR OWN SEARCH: I’ve looked at Wayfair, Anabei, Albany Park, Cozey, MyComfyCouches, West Elm, Ashley
IF YOU WANT ONLINE OR AN ACTUAL STORE: Either
I am looking for a sleeper sofa. I was so excited as I found the London 2-Piece Sleeper Sectional (91") on clearance on west elm yesterday but the time I pressed buy it said it was sold already. I have been looking for the perfect one several months so it was such a bummer. Where I live there is only stores like Ashley, Bob's and Raymour & Flanigan, Home Depot, and they have nothing I like. So now I am desperately looking for something similar to the London 2-Piece/Scandinavian style and under $2000. IKEA is out as they do not ship here. Do you have any tips? Requirements except similar style;

Table/Stand For Pro Ject Debut Carbon EVO
Hello! I’ve been lurking here for some time and decided to make a post due to the frustration I’ve been having while choosing a turntable stand.
I wanted to get a “all in one” kinda stand that can store vinyl, have my turntable at a reasonable height (not bending down to a coffee table etc.), a “now playing” record cover stand, and can hold two speakers. The speakers are two Rokit 6’s.
Before anyone mentions audio quality loss due to the speakers on the same table as the player, I am investing in rubberized/corked mats for them. Due to the space I have available and the inability to find speaker stands for these two big speakers, this is the predicament I’m in;
TL;DR Looking for a stand that can house two speakers, a display for the vinyl currently playing, the player, and two speakers. Bonus for additional vinyl sleeve storage.
Thanks!!
Edit: budget is loosely $200. Any advice, possible keywords searching, or good brands to lookup on marketplace would help!
I have an unconventionally tall (46”) bar between my kitchen and living room. I bought the tallest bar stools I could find but they’re still a couple inches too short to be comfortable. The legs are metal and hollow, but the only leg extenders I can find are meant to screw into wood furniture. Any recommendations for clamp or sleeve-style extenders, or examples of similar problems + solutions would be much appreciated.
I’m looking to upgrade my sectional - it’s from West Elm and it’s beautiful, but honestly wasn’t very comfortable.
I’ve heard quite a bit about the RH cloud couch / sofa, on short in-store trials it felt great, and I’m fine with the cost as long as it fits my space and needs. That said, is this really the best option in its price range?
I do care about aesthetic, but will prioritize comfort over looks for this replacement.
Looking for something modular or one that comes in an L shape. It has to be soft for laying and watching TV, and deep enough to accommodate our bodies, with an extra ottoman or chaise so that my wife and I don’t have to fight over whose legs can stretch out.
Thank you for any input!
We do not ID furniture here. Why? Because the whole entire forum would be full of unanswered posts about unidentifiable furniture. This forum is for discussions, asking for sourcing help and some repair questions. We do not: Find a dupe for you because you don't want to pay full price for an item. Find manuals for a piece you bought off of Facebook. Tell you how to repaint an item you found on the curb. Help locate random legs for couches and chairs. Help assemble bunkbeds with no manual or screws. You may not ask others to "post their pieces online so you can see the color." This is not Yelp. We do not do any type of reviews here, good or bad. We have a few on some sectionals but it stops there. We do not source discontinued items here as well.

This one is from Etsy but can only be shipped in Australia, I live in Europe so that’s no option.
Looking for something no longer than 96', would like for it to have a high back around 36' (with the cushion) and to have a short depth around 33'.
Want it to be in a light concrete grey with performance velvet. Clean lines, square, solid color for a brutalist aesthetic. Ideally wide armrest but not a deal breaker.
Location: Seattle Area
Budget: Not sure I suppose under 2.5k
I’ve been searching high and low for the perfect display case for my whiskey collection. There are plenty of great vertical options, but I’m struggling to find a horizontal cabinet that meets my needs. Specifically, I’m looking for something with dual shelves tall enough to accommodate two bottles (12–13” tall each).
I absolutely love the design of this TV stand—it’s great for showcasing bottles and has additional storage in the middle for miscellaneous items. The only downside is that it’s too short at 20” tall. Ideally, I need something between 25” and 40” in height. A width of 70” or more would be perfect.
Does anyone have recommendations or ideas for a cabinet or piece of furniture that fits these criteria? I’d appreciate any suggestions! Mock up below, actual cabinet below.
I'm in California and my budget is $3000 but I'd love to spend less if possible. Online or in store are both fine.
I have found a lounge suite I love but it’s white leather. I’ve been told it will darken over time and the leather will stretch more than fabric? What is the truth of it please?
I’ve been researching and shopping around for over a year now for a good quality sectional sofa. I’m a larger guy (6’4/275) and need a couch that has good bones. We are very close to pulling the trigger and ordering a Linger sectional from Room & Board. A main reason for going with the Linger is that there are inner springs in each cushion which I have heard is great to prevent sagging. We can’t go test it, since the closest show room is 8 hours away. The only thing that has stopped us is that we noticed some reviews on their site that say a ton of feathers come out of the couch. There is nothing worse than getting stabbed in the eye with a feather when you lay down. Does anyone have experience with the Linger? Or is there another brand I haven’t discovered that is better, with innerspring cushions? Thanks
What are good companies to shop for quality bedroom furniture?
Looking for a piece of furniture that:
-Is freestanding
-Is about 16-18 inches wide, tops
-Has storage above an empty space
I'd like to put storage above my cats' litter box, but every bathroom cabinet is too wide for the space I have available. I don't want to enclose the litter box. The walls in this apartment are incapable of bearing weight, so it must be freestanding. Any recommendations for similar types of furniture with an open space at the bottom? What search terms could I use?
I feel so out of touch with things and who is considered to be good quality that is available in Canada.
I purched a lot of RH pieces but find their sizing far too big for my current home and their prices are a bit eye watering these days.
Would prefer solid wood over melamine which most of what I am coming across.
I would appreciate any suggestions.
So I'm a large guy (nearly 400 lb but I'm losing weight), and want a good quality bedframe. I bought one from Living Spaces a while ago, and right after the warranty expired, I sat down on the corner of the bed to put on socks. A slat in the middle of the bed snapped, causing the entire sideboard on that side to separate.
Since I moved, I need to replace it. However, I also want a headboard that has a shelf or drawers. Finding the combo at one time has been frustrating. So I'm thinking about getting a bedframe and then a headboard separately.
I saw this, but I'm not sure how easy it would be to add a headboard to this -- and not sure where to find the headboard I want.

Hello all! We're on the hunt for a sofa. I have 108 inches of wall to work with and want to fill it all.
Here's what my boyfriend loves: https://www.castlery.com/us/products/isaac-bumper-chaise-sectional-sofa
It's a bit too short! Can anyone find me something that looks almost exactly like this (wood base, tight and tidy cushions, tufted back) but is the right size? This is such a slog
We're in Rhode Island, our budget is preferably less than 3k, and we have one cat.
Stickley Memphis Sofa
Hi All,
I really want a quality beautiful leather couch that will hopefully last for decades. This Stickley Memphis caught my attention.
Is this a good one to buy? It is online so I can’t sit in it and try it out before buying.
I want firm cushions that inflate after getting off the couch. This couch says the cushions are fiber wrapped foam. Is that good? For $5k, I want the best possible couch.

Thanks!
As the title said, considering buying a new Stickley bookshelf (from the Little Treasures) collection and wondering if it’s worth it to buy new. Went to a furniture store to check out their store close out/out of business sale and saw that they had some Stickley furniture. Unfortunately, they said they likely couldn’t do more than $100 off their $1300 price due to the manufacturer. Is it worth it to buy it at this price or are the smaller A&C bookshelves relatively easy to find? The store rep said it had good resale value but I’m not really planning on selling it if I do buy it.
Hi! Looking for a reclining sofa that's aesthetically pleasing and quality made. I like the look of the new pottery barn Cindy power recliner but it doesn't have any fabric choices. I have cats that scratch my couches despite attempts at training so I need a tight knit fabric to prevent an abundance of pulls.
Based in NJ, USA. My budget is roughly $3K. The width should be a max of like 100ish". The style I like is pottery barn, west elm. My house is a lakeside cottage so cozy casual vibe. Supportive cushions. I would like to visit a store to feel but don’t have to. I like Homebody but it’s so expensive.
Thanks!
I’m having the hardest time finding furniture stores in LA to buy a sectional.
Other than Living Spaces, Ashley, and Melrose district, where do people shop for sectionals?
Any great stores that carry quality NC manufacturers?
Price range 3-5K for a sectional. Possibly more if the quality is worth it.
Thanks!
Hi! I’ve been searching for the perfect arm chair/reading chair/chair and a half/lounge chair for a home office. I want something that feels like falling into a cloud and is big enough that it accommodates all sorts of sitting positions. I want it to look timeless. No recliners, no Eames lounge style chairs, and I’m leaning toward steering clear of mid-century modern styles altogether. I’d love to keep the budget under $1000. Just want a good classic arm chair that is still affordable. Feels like so many people have something like this but I’m having trouble finding anything that seems like it’d be good quality.
Hi everyone,
My wife, newborn and I are in desperate need of finding a couch. It seems every couch we run into ends up having bad reviews on reddit or somewhere else online. We understand that may be the case with a lot of brands, but some of them are overwhelmingly bad. We are looking for a modular couch, we do have a dog so scratch resistant and removable covers is a must!
Our budget is up to 8 or 9 grand, so we feel like we have quite a bit to spend.
I've heard that getting a 2-2.5 density foam would be important for quality. Does anyone have some good recommendations? Good brands? Any insight would be really helpful!!
