My incredible fiancée managed to snag a copy for my birthday (she refuses to tell me how much she paid, lol). I also just picked up Medium Rare a few weeks ago, so my LP/EP collection is now complete!

Side-note - man, I'd forgotten how much this album absolutely slaps. I really think it's one of the best things they've ever done

Work keeps me from growing a beard, but I had everything else fairly nailed down for my costume this year. It was too wet out for the guitar.

Hi folks! I have a fairly large poster (framed w/matte) of the Foo Fighters ray gun. It hung in my office back when I worked for Gretsch Drums (RIP Taylor). I think the poster size is 36"x 24".

Doing some cleaning and found it in my attic. Don't have a spot for it, so I'm trying to find this a new home. I'm in the Nashville area - if you can come pick it up, it's all yours. Frame is scuffed in a few places, but overall it's in great shape.

I think Dave will probably ease back into the spotlight in a year or two by playing drums in another band for awhile, then when it feels right, probably make another FF record.

I'm also curious, if they did come back, would the lineup be the same? I could see Pat possibly leaving.

I could see him addressing the issues head-on. Maybe doing an in-depth interview prior to the release with Howard Stern or something. Breaking down everything he's been through since Taylor and his Mom have passed away. Coming to terms with having a kid outside his marriage. Pretty sure the record would address all that. I could see them possibly retiring the song, "Best of You" because it's basically become a meme at this point.

I could also see them playing like Coachella or doing another Cal Jam as a big return.

Anybody know if the chevy metal show in Indiana is still going on this weekend (November 2nd) , Cant find tickets anywhere and they took it off their socials.

This thing has existed most of my life. Since I was 8.

There was a contest on here a couple years back where a guy was giving one away, sans box.

I was telling my lady how cool it would be to own on our way to a wedding states away from where we live. Explaining its history for both Nirvana and Foo Fighters. How the name Late! was created, and so forrh. And while I'm focused on the road, she's buying one from somebody.

And since she gave it to me, it's been in a shadowbox. The adhesive that was used to hold it in place (in a separate cassette box, not the cassette itself) failed some time ago.

And tonight, I decided I needed to touch it. Hell, for all I know, Dave himself touched it. And there's no way I could verify that, and it wasn't what drove me to rip the backing paper off that box. But dammit if everyone else before me has touched it, I shall too. I wonder if the guy holding these as they were completed ever contemplated the (possible) history in his hands.

For those of you who remember my first post about this, we aren't married (yet). It's not important to either of us, but it's still a valid reason to wife her tomorrow. Since then, she's gone to a few of their shows with me, and has become a fan. But no matter what happens, this is my crown jewel in a collection of memorabilia and merch.
