I like laying them out before figuring out how to use them for dried flower art, potions, & general joy.
I have read that the only way to preserve fresh plumeria leis is by drying them. The only thing with that I’m worried I’ll loose the beauty of them once they dry. Is there any other ways to preserve them ?
I got some vinca during the summer of 24. I got tired of seeing dirt as I live in the desert. All was going good up until Dec when winter hit. Now we’re in 25 and I know my vinca didn’t quite make it. My question is, are they now a lost cause or should I wait for a miracle here for re growth? Thank you
Hi! My therapist recommended that i take care of a plant or some variety to help with some problems i have with myself. What's an easy to take care of flower that requires lots of sunlight? I'd be putting it in my windowsill that has constant sunlight all day. My place stays at approx 60-70 degrees farenheit. The pot can't be wider than 8 inches diameter. If you need anymore info I'm happy to give.
I want to get my girlfriend cornflowers for (possibly late) valentines because a.) they’re generally safe for cats, and b.) their color reminds me of my girlfriend’s deep blue hair.
I was really excited about this idea and began looking for florists that might be able to provide what I’m looking for, only to find out that cornflowers are pretty specialized and most sellers only do them in bulk and months in advance for weddings and stuff.
So now I’m wondering if what I want is even possible. I don’t mind if I have to wait past Valentine’s Day since I’m cutting it close. I’m not well versed in obtaining flowers, is there any resources for finding uncommon types? I’m not looking for anything fancy, literally just a small cluster of cornflowers would be ideal. I live in Texas by the way.
