Hey guys! Hope everyone is doing good!
I’m coming to dubai again from the 27th of December to the 5th of Jan and I was wondering first of all if there are any car events?
Second I was wondering if anyone here would want a shoot or know owners for a shoot or could help me get one as I’d like to maximize my opportunities in dubai! 🙏🏻🫶🏼
If you have any info or wanna chat feel free to dm me here or on my insta where I’m more active: bgt_visuals (You can see my photos and videos there 😉)
Thank you and have an amazing day!🫶🏼
Hi guys.. Need your advice Recently purchased 2016 MK7 from authorized dealer
Should i take it back to them..this is my first VW ever all these might be my ignorance. Can any one of you help me with this ? Did i do make a wrong buy.
Highways are usually more saturated with traffic on the left side and more free on the right side, when on paper it’s supposed to be the other way around. This is evident by how when a traffic congestion starts, its the left lanes that get congested first while traffic on the right lanes keeps going for some time.
I’m curious to hear your ideas on whether this problem is practically solvable or not.
Thanks!
So I was in karama, and was coming up on a junction, was driving at a higher speed (below limit), now the wise thing would’ve been to stop, but I sped up, car’s FRONT crossed the stop line while the light was yellow (maybe turned red in between) and the camera did NOT flash (100% sure), will I get a fine? I’m just super tensed as I had 2 speeding fines this month and can’t afford to lose my car for 30 days.
Hi Does anyone know if there is any law / rules for that ? My friend car was involved in accident . Someone hit his car from the back . Its been over 2 months now and his insurance claiming there is no space in a garage to fix his car . Apparently there is only 1 place in Dubai to do this . Any rules about that ? How long he should wait ? Other guy insurance was third party only if that makes any difference .
Thank you
A friend of mine has come to Dubai for a while and I needed parts for my 2016 Yamaha R3 - specifically a windshield - any idea where could my friend get them?
Hello
I am planning to take leave for 6-7 weeks.
I’m gonna take a flight at DXB and sad thing is there is no place to park my car because I am not living in Dubai.
Do you guys have any experience leaving your car for months? Please give me some advice.
Thank you :)
Picture not mine. Thoughts?
Was driving on the highway and the CEL suddenly popped up . Went to the mechanic and he connected the obd scanner which showed the po420 code . The code was cleared . In 24 hrs the the CEL popped up again , what do I do ? Is it my catalytic converter or my oxygen sensor that needs fixing . Id really appreciate some guidance before going to the mechanic again . I also noticed a massive drop in fuel efficiency as I'm getting a 8-9km/L for a ford focus when I used to get 13-14km/L
Anyone know if there will be any discount for RTA fines? I read that some of the other Emirates have applied it, but nothing about Dubai.
If not today, then does anyone know if they will do it on a future Eid?
getting offered this for 1/3 the price, is this dent an issue ? i have no idea about exhaust systems
I feel like dubai is great for driving but I hate parking garages and tight spaces. How do big cars drive home? What’s the best car to buy if you want a sports car but something not too huge.
I keep scratching my rims on the curbs
A few days ago, I had my car washed, and the attendant asked if I wanted the engine bay cleaned. I agreed, but now I’m concerned that this might have caused a recent issue with my 2013 Honda Civic.
The car shakes during the first 10 minutes of driving, especially when it’s trying to shift gears at low speeds. The shaking is noticeable, and the car seems to struggle to shift smoothly. However, if I accelerate more quickly, the shaking diminishes or disappears altogether. This issue is more pronounced in the morning and tends to resolve itself after a short drive.
A few months ago, I noticed another issue where the car would vibrate when idling in Drive with the AC on. Turning off the AC would alleviate the vibration. I’m wondering if this might be related to the current shaking problem.
Any advice or insights would be greatly appreciated.
Hi everyone,
The seats in my car are starting to get dirty from kids sitting on them with shoes. I'm looking for affordable seat covers to protect them. Any suggestions on where to find good, budget-friendly options that do not break my bank? Or is it possible to remove and wash the seat covers?
Just a few cars from today's morning drive to Khorfakkan
Hello needed some help and guidance about a few things, apologies in advance if the questions come out as basic.
Context: I understand the difference between ppf and ceramic on a rudimentary level. PPF for protection against scratches and chinks from people hitting the doors etc and ceramic for the shine and swirl protection. Ppf costs 9-14k and ceramic goes from 800 to 5k. I understand the fact of not cheaping out on both products so just mentioning the rate ranges. I have also read on the same platform of going for ppf if you have a special color or expensive car otherwise it's not worth it.
Problem: now on to the problem and question at hand. I absolutely hate those chinks that people usually gift your car. I previously had a car which had ceramic(previous owner had done it) I absolutely loved it cuz it always was so shiny and sexy but obviously it couldn't save it from the chinks and I did notice swirls aswell. But the shine oooof
Now I want the same shine and sexiness but those chinks I absolutely want to avoid I even thought of colored ppf just to give it a sexy new color I want to keep the car for the long term and I want to take care of it. Now if I go the ppf route it will easily cost me 9-10 maybe for normal and colored will be more expensive but what about the shine? Would it be as good as ceramic? Is it really worth it? If I take the ceramic route obviously it will be cheaper than ppf and the shine I know is amazing but the chinks. I even thought of a third super expensive proposition like get ceramic and then do the normal ppf double the protection but it will punch holes in my pocket like anything.
So any advice would be welcome. If my understanding is flawed please feel free to correct me
Guys I need your help 🥲
My seat got burnt on my brand new T2 can you suggest a place to fix it in dubai or Sharjah, the part got burnt is the fabric pls help
Thanks
I own a Mazda 6 2018.
My car engine light suddenly lit today. I have had a change of engine belt about 2 weeks back.
The following maintenance were done in my car.
If I go to Auto Pro, would they be able to diagnose and fix this engine light issue? I'm trying to avoid a revisit to that mechanic as I doubt his honesty now.
My car dashboard shows these symbols. What do they mean and how to solve them? They didnt show up before but when i was parking the car i noticed this I drive a 2013 honda accord. Thx in advance
