I bought DOTO about 3 years ago, after a belated but intense love affair with Dishonored 2. It's still in its cellophane wrapping, however, exhibited next to my PS4 like a rune, ripe for the taking. I know I'll love it, and I'm not so disheartened at the lack of a Dishonored 3 that I'm scared to burn through this final chapter and be met with the crushing realisation that that's that. Something's just saying to me... not yet. It feels like a fine wine that serves no one gathering dust on the shelf, and yet something's stopping me from popping the cork. But I feel like the day is coming, maybe even before the year is done. If old Samuel could see me now, huh?
It was done on very hard. It was very hard
Just me?
I could not find two unconscious bodies for the longest time, I’m so mad
I wanted to see how many people can be placed onto the boat after collecting them. I traveled far to bring everyone to his boat, neither the guards or the weepers were left behind.
Since it's more or less confirmed that Corvo killed any guard that got in his way of saving Emily and killed the Pendleton twins in the House of Pleasure mission in Dishonored 1, I was wondering if there's a similar instance in Dishonored 2, where Emily canonically slaughtered her way through at least part of a mission and killed her target? If so, what mission and target would it be?
Ik this type of post likely keeps getting put up but idk what to do.
I basically just started the second mission and entered the Addermire building, but for some reason every time I open the game and load my save the game will just shut down with no message like 10 seconds after. I tried the AMD thing but didn't have the software so that couldn't have been the issue. What should I do?
10 years I’ve waited for this tattoo and I finally have it!! So happy with how it came out, too
so i have this copy of dishonored but if i try to install it will install a old version of steam and when trying to update it will say that cant update and to check connection
I saw a PDF of a Dishonored RPG for sale somewhere a while back. Has anyone played it? Thoughts? It looked pretty fun but also at first glance it seemed easy to get overpowered.
I remember Daud cutting Corvo’s hand off in the early concepts of the game, but I forgot the details of the scrapped fragment.
Since the concept wasnt materialized in the game, did the properties of the Mark change? Would a person lose their abilities, or would their limb “regenerate/regrow” like it (partially) did with Billie, for example
I did this and wondered if someone has managed to get through with no unconscious found
Update I managed to beat the game and get ghost, clean hands, and mostly flesh and steel in one run on very hard.
Ok guys hear me out.
We are all starved of Dishonored content. We all want more. Here is an idea for a new storyline.
How many of you have played the critically acclaimed but long forgotten game “Clive Barker’s Undying” which an old horror FPS written by Clive Barker.
I feel that game can be revived and rewritten for the Dishonored Universe.
There is an element of otherworldly horror in the game which in the game came before sourced from the void, which is in a state of chaos now that the Oursider is dead or gone.
The game can start with absolute chaos and can end with either survival (high chaos) or stability (low chaos, with maybe a new outsider figure)
Thoughts? Opinions?
I'm just posting this because I noticed someone was upset about the mana regen being too slow and I realized some people still don't know this.
If you cast blink the second you're out of mana it will instantly refill half your mana.
That is all.
Was replaying Dishonored lately and something in the plot bugged me: mission 7, the outsider takes you to where he has been killed. And he says Delilah found this place ( thanks to Daud trapping her in the Void) But in DotO, the cult also found this place too so shouldn't have the cultists encounter Delilah?
Also does infecting the distillery increases your chaos?
I've finally gotten around to finishing up my ghost/clean hands run, except Delilah is making it impossible. I took out all her replicas without being detected, but now when she wakes up she instantly detects me, with absolutely no where to hide. The instant she wakes up she's alerted, no chance to hide, no chance to knock her out first. As luck would have it, both my autosaves are useless, so I guess I'll be restarting my mission to get ghost. My question is though, why? How does this happen? Doesn't make a lot of sense to me.
Like is this even possible? I keep seeing the counter and in my head I'm going "this is impossible right?"
