By this time in three months, with JUCO and NAIA colleges and universities playing, the 166th year of collegiate baseball in North America will offically be opened.
To all of you fans, let the official countdown begin.
And on behalf of this sub, our wishes of good luck to the collegiate alumni of the Dodgers and Yankees in this the 121st MLB World Series!
John
I’m new to Baseball overall & I see a lot of people that say ESPN+ is almost a must have for college baseball. I’m trying to figure out does this include On Demand Replays? I work a lot & might not be able to catch every game so I’m wondering if there is a way that I can replay the games for later? Also I live in Baton Rouge, La so I’m a LSU fan, would I be able to catch their games on there? I don’t have cable (cord cutter). Thanks!
Happy Opening Week of the 121st MLB World Series and best wishes to the Dodgers and Yankees collegiate alumni!
Any one here talking on how the fall ball games have been going so far this month?
Does anyone know what the average ticket price for a first round game?
I wish non conference schedules were more akin to basketball and football. In season tournaments are usually announced 1 season ahead. Non conference schedules usually announced 4-5 months out. Why is baseball scheduling such a mess to where you don't know full schedules until 2-3 months before the season starts in some cases?
The rest of the list includes:
LSU; 2. Tennessee; 3. Florida; 4. Vanderbilt; 5. Arkansas; 6. Virginia; 7. Texas A&M; 8. Mississippi State; 9. Texas; and 10. Florida State.
Who is overrated? Underrated?

He was at the LSU vs Ole miss football game Saturday and was seen talking to Paul Skenes.

Happy Columbus Day and Indigenous Peoples' Day as well as Canadian Thanksgiving!
Seeing that there as been a discussion post already on fall ball, I've taken this one step futher to provide a weekly post for those watching fall training games. This will be my second full year of fall ball weekly threads to provide a space for talk regarding these games.
Any thoughts on the fall training season so far and who do you think may be ready to be named to their team rosters come next year?
I mean the baseball one of course. I did. I thought it was pretty awesome how Nebraska came back after losing to Ohio State in the first round and then being forced into the elimination bracket and winning the tournament championship. I was truly amazed.
Below are the currently released rankings that I'll update as D1Baseball announces the top 10.
FYI, they post these rankings free on X: https://x.com/D1Baseball
The rankings are released every 2 years and they only take in to account the past decade of performance with an emphasis on the last 5 seasons. Basically, what you did prior to 2015 isn't weighed.

FSU played a double header vs Auburn today. Lost both games. 2 different lineups. 14 innings
With Tibbs, Smith, Ferrer and Dinges gone we have a lot of openings
This team will be a much more singles, doubles, speed team I think but still some power between Max, Bailey, Plain, Fisher, Lodise and Hankerson
Chase Williams went 3-3 today. Juco, dodgers took him in the 19th he decided to come and had a good day
The pitching shut out Auburn for 10 of the 14 innings. Arnold didn't pitch and Leiter is still nowhere to be found
Hankerson, McCulley, Cmeyla, Bailey, Plain, Estes, Harrelson the other newcomers had good days at the plate
Noah Sheffield had a couple big time hits and some smooth play at 2nd base. Might be more college ready than I thought .
It will be interesting to see what Link does with the lineup. Max Will, Lodise, Faurot, Fisher are probably the only givens.
Pitching seems much improved except for a couple big innings for auburn baseball.
1 pitcher per inning
Looking at old posts on this sub I see people saying you can watch college baseball on ESPN+ but I cant find anything on my ESPN app. It shows all NCAA Leagues except baseball and I don't want to spend money if its not there.
Is it there and if so why would it not be showing up?
A lot of teams travel from the northern midwest and northeast to the Carolinas and Florida for some preseason games. How has the hurricans this fall efffected the fields and the prospect of hosting games next year?
First time posting on the sub so hope this is OK but the 2025 Washington Huskies schedule has been announced via Twitter and Instagram and is on the official website as of today
Interesting notes... only one game vs Oregon State in Hillsboro, OR in a midweek game. Three Big 10 road series at Traditional Big Ten schools at Rutgers, Northwestern and Nebraska. Plus a non-conference game vs. Illinois at Las Vegas which I have to assume was agreed upon prior to the Big 10 schedule coming out but the games vs Texas and Texas Tech will be a nice test
No WSU....
