I really want to get one of those Quinnipiac road jerseys (navy and yellow) but their book store does not sell them. The one that they sell don't even look like jerseys they wear.

Every year, there are those games where the rivalry feels less like a matchup and more like a battle. In your opinion, which rivalry has the most electric atmosphere this year? I want to hear about all your crazy game experiences and weigh in on the best rivalry in college hockey.

Today’s not been a good day.

Let’s see how the /r/collegehockey top ten did over the weekend:

1. Denver swept Wisconsin, 4-2 and 6-1. The Pioneers travel to Yale for a series.

2. Boston College came back to beat Western Michigan 4-2. The Eagles travel to St. Cloud State.

3. Boston University split their road trip at North Dakota, a 2-7 loss before a 4-2 win. The Terriers host Michigan for a series.

4. Minnesota swept St. Thomas, 7-1 and 6-2. The Golden Gophers begin Big Ten play with a home series against Penn State.

5. Michigan State swept Canisius, 3-0 and 4-1. The Spartans are off this week.

6. Maine defeated (4-1) and tied (2-2) Northeastern. The Black Bears host Merrimack for a series.

7. North Dakota (see above). The Fighting Hawks are on the road to Cornell.

8. Cornell defeated Toronto, 6-2. The Big Red host North Dakota.

9. Colorado College swept Alaska Anchorage, 2-1 and 2-0. The Tigers have a home-and-home with local rivals Air Force.

10. St. Cloud State swept Augustana, 4-3 and 2-1. The Huskies host Boston College.

Have been a fan of the NHL for years, but have never really watched college hockey/ don’t know what schools I might want to cheer for. I’m from near Sf bay are and a sharks fan, that’s why I’m interested to watch some other hockey lol. But I know James hagens is a top prospect, that the sharks might be able to grab. Otherwise don’t really know much. Would love to get some of your input of what teams to watch/ would be fun to cheer for year after year.

Haven't gotten to watch a lot of college hockey this year outside of the Gophs, so I have no clue about who's in the race for the Hobey right now. I know it's early, but it's never too early to think about it. I'd have to say Connor Kurth for the Gophers is in the mix with 6 goals in 6 games, but I'd like to hear some other guys killing it.

6-0! If Matt Davis plays this well all season, Denver will be tough to beat. As a fan it’s fun to see the impact of new additions to the roster. Pohlkamp is a beast, and Salminen, Fisher, Burrows, Reeder and others are making DU a better team. We’re still weeks away from NCHC conference competition, which will be fierce as always, but this team looks ready.

I'm watching PC@UVM and there is only one broadcaster (no color guy). He has alluded to being associated with Vermont on a few occasions during the broadcast and I want to know who he is. Can't find anything on the old google search so I figured someone here will know. Thanks.

Making my first ever trip to the Boston area to see BU play with my buddy. Any recommendations for first timers to the rink and area? What's the best place to eat and/or grab beers by Agganis?

The No. 4 Golden Gophers became the first program in WCHA history to reach 500 conference wins on Friday, taking down Minnesota State 8-2 at home. Minnesota moves to a 5-3-1 (1-3-1 WCHA) record on the season.

I continue to be amazed by the freshman defenseman pictured above. She's got a great shot and really high IQ, and she's a 17 year old. She was selected to Canadian National Team and will be playing in the Rivalry Series this year. (One assist tonight).

I grew up watching nhl hockey but I’m new to college hockey. How difficult is it for an independent school like the Nanooks or the Seawolves to gain a tournament birth ? Is it like college baseball and football where as long as they are ranked they have a shot of getting in the tournament?
