I’ve been a believer for my whole life but I’ve always struggled to find Christian music I really enjoy. I’m a huge fan of like Pop rock, R&B, soul etc. Songs about Jane by Maroon 5 is one of my favorite albums. I was wondering if you guys have any artists or songs that match that type of Rock R&B groove?
This is my origonal song and videk, I am a Christian hobbyist, I did my best with my current skill level. I hope you all can be encouraged.
I saw some swooning pearl-clutching Christian girls going on about how Benson is a Christian and he mentions Jesus in his music. Hold up, now. Benson Boone is a Mormon. Ask ANY evangelical Christian about Mormonism and they’ll launch into their diatribe about how it’s a cult and those people are twisting the word of God and going to hell.
So, Christian girls, you are swooning over a Mormon! How crazy is that! Wake up, girls, you’re being deceived by the devil. 👿

I feel very anxious right now, and I feel like I need some Christian music to help me. I returned to my college dorm after spending a day at my family's place, and I feel very sad and lonely. I miss my family. Please help
Hello… this may sound like a goofy question but I just love hyper pop and dance pop, and recently I’ve been feeling convicted about listening to her music. Some of her lyrics in her new songs and some old ones just aren’t biblical. Also, they don’t have to sound just like her, but the same genre. God bless!
Gable Price & Friends, John Mark McMillan, John Mark Pantana, John Jin Han, respectively were different music genres but if there's going to be a kind of music gathering, I'd likely to have them on the line up haha.
Does anyone know any Christian artist who sound similar to Chappell Roan, dr dog, Declan Mkckenna,French cassettes, tame impala, the wallows, current joys, Alex G? Specifically treehouse by Alex G?
How was worship today?
Feel free to share your thoughts, what worked, what didn't. Any new songs or arrangements, along with videos you would like to share!
I was very into bands like Nahko, dirty heads, soja, the movement, rebelution, hippie kinda stuff. I love the vibe but they are usually spiritual in a new agey way. Anything that sounds similar but from a Christian artist?
This hymn was written in the 1960s by Bill and Gloria Gaither. The second verse goes:
“How sweet to hold a newborn baby,
And feel the pride and joy he gives;
But greater still the calm assurance:
This child can face uncertain days because He lives.”
I never understood the last line. Why would Jesus living make it so that a child would face uncertain days and why is that a good thing? I would think that it would actually be the opposite - that Jesus living would make a child have surety in the days ahead.
Can someone help interpret that line for me?
I've never heard much Christian music in my life, but I listened to a couple Hillsong clips on YouTube and I absolutely love what I'm hearing.
But I don't really know how to even begin getting into music like this. As a complete beginner, where do I start?
And yes, I know Hillsong is extremely hated/controversial so I know I might not be advised to get into it specifically, I just mean that this type of music is something that just seems phenomenal to me.
I’m looking for songs that have a similar vibe to Radiohead. I don’t want any yelling, just chill rock that tells the good news of God!!! Do you guys have any recommendations?

Tired of letting my anger out with satanic artists. I need stuff that talks about Jesus and beating the crap out of someone in self defense.
Hey all, hope it's appropriate to post this here as I've seen that there isn't a hugely active Christian rock sub.
I used to really love the sound of The Pretty Reckless and Halestorm. But I realized that the lyrics of many of their songs go directly against God and that's where I draw the line. I don't have a big issue with secular music in general, so the recommendations don't have to be exclusively "Christian". I just don't want to continue to listen to them when the lyrics start to go against the core parts of my belief.
And just to rant a little, it's sad when you find a band that you really love the sound for, and then realize the lyrics just aren't what you want to listen to. It honestly feels a little heartbreaking :,).
ps. I do know plenty of male frontman Christian bands, so this is just asking for bands with female frontmen! :)
Hello! I've been trying to find Gospel music that is similar to the first minute of NANOWAR OF STEEL - Valhalleluja? The song is pagan, so I'd much rather listen to a similar sounding song that is Christian! Thank you!
Hello guys, I was wondering if my fellow brothers and sisters could help me with finding some music. I am looking something similar to Phoebe Bridgers, Alex G, Passion Mango, Current Joys, Whitney, Bon Iver, Alice in Chains, Lizzy McAlpine, Jacob Collier etc. Looking for that acoustic guitar sound in open tunings or something dreamy and fuzzy. I feel like as im getting closer to the Lord my perspective shifts and I don't need those sad/hopeless lirycs but I do love this sound and I'd love to explore something new.
