Please do not donate if you are in a bad financial situation.
Please message the moderators with charities you might feel are a scam!

The following circumventions will result in a ban:
Posts must be more than just a link to your campaign. Be descriptive! Show evidence . This includes:
Please Flair your posts, once created. If you don't know how, just let the mods know and we'll do it for you.
Only 1 campaign per user. We want you have some personal connection to the campaign, and not submit multiples simply because they were in the news.

Hi I'm Fundraising to save my little cousin Abdul Hadi's life from a horrible cancer located in his bone. He was diagnosed with Ewing sarcoma at the age of 5 years old, a deadly bone cancer located in his right foot which has spread all the way up his leg and hips. He has been Suffering for 3 years of non stop treatments like extreme radiation therapy and chemo. Without intervention, the tumor has continued to grow, invading nearby bones, joints, soft tissues, and neuromuscular bundles. This causes severe pain, loss of limb function and fractures. Due to these problems Hadi stopped attending school, is unable to play outside with his brothers, friends and can no longer walk without immense pain. His condition untreated leads to less than a 5-year survival rate of 10%.
Despite Hadi's dad having multiple jobs his family is unable to afford the needed intensive chemotherapy with stem cell transplant which is what your proceeds of $28,000 will be used for. This treatment gives Hadi a 90% chance to win life.
No amount is too big or too small, even a prayer for the family and him would be greatly appreciate
You can ask me for anything like his scans, X-rays and reports to prove authenticity by just DMing me

My husband is running the Boston Marathon to raise money for the American Liver Foundation. This charity is so important to us as my father-in-law was able to quickly catch and survive a deadly liver disease due the research supported by the American Liver Foundation.
I'm the father of an Autistic 9 year old and participating in my 7th year of the Eagle's Austim Foundation Fundraiser. I'd absolutely love any help I could possibly get raising money for this charity. I honestly consider donations, promoting the charity, and ideas on ways to raise money as help and welcome any and all.
So, I've known Donna since I met her daughter, Jes, when I was 9. Donna's boyfriend lived in the trailer park my mother managed. Donna rarely had visitations with Jes at that point so it took a while of them living there for me to meet Jes. We bonded so fast once one of my abusive friends was out of the picture. We'd pick her up from her dad's to spend weekends at our house while I'd see Donna and her boyfriend around.
I moved, and Jes might have well have moved with me. Donna worked at a truck stop restaurant about 10 minutes from my new house and Jes would stay with us when she worked. There were parts of my life where Donna played a huge part... when her and Jes moved into her grandma's I'd visit them. When they finally got their own place, I'd spend nights. Even days where Jes had school, I'd stay over.
Even when Jes became an adult, Donna was always with her. Wen Jes moved out on her own with the father of her kids, Donna went too. Jes was adamant that she'd always have a place for her mom. They'd move two more times until they ended up living in East Palestine again, Donna being the only one in their household of 5 that had her own room.
On the night of the 1st, Donna called off from work and went to lay down. It was when Jes later noticed that her light was on and the cat never came out that she decided to go check on her only to find her dead in her bed.
It wasn't a death that we'd been expecting. She was 58 and generally healthy... We had all just spent Thanksgiving together a few days prior. And now she was dead... and we were faced with another large blow.
All of us- Jes, the father of her kids, and I are all low income. Jes has a decent paying job, but just enough to support herself and three kids. Her not quite bf is working seasonal right now. I have no income to chip in because I'm on SSI and in government housing. Donna had no life-insurance and a fair bit of debt. The funeral in of itself, just the cremation and showing, is gonna be over $3,000.
Jes had 3 brothers. Are any of them going to help? No. Donna is survived by her mother and siblings. Any help there? Well, Donna's mother agreed to cover funeral expenses... on the condition that Jes pays her back. You heard me right- making her granddaughter pay her back for the decency of cremating her daughter.
I am 29 years old. Jes and her mother Donna have been a part of my life for 20 years. While her and I didn't always get along, she was steady and consistent. We shared a love of Supernatural and horror movies. She had a dark sense of humor that we all matched equally... and I don't know what any of us are going to do without her really. Jes and her manchild are having to explain to their 3 kids why their grandma isn't home anymore, isn't in her room. And Jes is dealing with the loss of the one person who was consistently there for her.
So, please, if you can... Any amount towards her funeral and debts is something Jes and I don't have to worry about. Every little bit helps.
Thank you for even reading this, if you've made it this far...
We are reaching out today, seeking support for our sweet dog, Gus. Gus is more than just a pet—he’s a member of our family. He’s a lovable, lazy snuggler who has always been happiest just laying around with his people. But right now, Gus is facing a painful and serious medical condition.
Gus has developed a large, rapidly growing cyst on the side of his face. It has become so large that it’s starting to ooze, and despite our best efforts to keep it clean and protected, it’s causing him immense discomfort. The cyst is at constant risk of infection, and every day we fear that it will lead to sepsis if it continues to worsen. On top of this, Gus has a level 5 heart murmur, which makes any surgery more complicated and costly.
We’ve consulted with veterinarians, and they have recommended urgent surgery to remove the cyst. The cost of this surgery is estimated at $6,136.84 due to Gus’s underlying heart condition. We are heartbroken that we don’t have the funds to pay for this life-saving procedure on our own, and we are turning to the community for help.
Gus is still trying to stay positive and keep up his affectionate, gentle demeanor, but we can see how much this is bothering him. He scratches at the cyst constantly, and we’ve had to put him in a protective cone, which he hates. It’s so hard to watch him suffer, knowing we don’t have the resources to give him relief.
Your donations will go directly towards covering Gus’s surgery, post-operative care, and any medications he’ll need to recover. We want nothing more than to give Gus the chance to enjoy the rest of his life without this constant pain, however long that may be.
Please consider donating to help our sweet Gus. Every little bit helps, and we are so grateful for your support during this incredibly difficult time. We have setup this GoFundMe campaign to try and help. https://gofund.me/bf2f44a9
If you are unable to help financially, please consider sharing to your social media to spread awareness.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
With love, K&S

I’m reaching out to ask for your help in supporting my friend, Nemo, who’s going through a tough time right now. His friends, including myself, are coming together to help him, even though he doesn’t always know how to ask for it. Here’s how the funds will be used:
Safe Shelter: The majority of the donations will go toward securing temporary housing while Nemo works on finding a more stable living situation. He’s applied for a housing program through his health insurance (HRSN), which has a much shorter waitlist than other affordable housing programs. The initial funds will help him stay in cheap motels until he gets approved.
Food and Essentials: Any extra funds will go toward basic groceries, hygiene products, warm clothing, and other essentials. When Nemo left his previous living situation, he was able to take very little with him.
I am here to tell you the story of a few passionate people who are making small changes in the world. If you listen, you may join them and become part of it as well.
Air Child Virtual Airline was established in May 2007 by two individuals who met randomly on a flight simulation forum and were driven by the same motivation: combining their hobby with a purpose reaching beyond the virtual world of simulation. After a few emails and phone calls to the German UNICEF section, the goal became clear: a virtual airline based on a sponsorship system for the benefit of UNICEF. The desire to help children in need became the heart and passion behind all activities of the airline, and there was no doubt about the name: Air Child.
Around six months later, we had more than a dozen pilots regularly testing the airline's infrastructure, conducting countless test flights, providing feedback, and suggesting new features. In September 2008, public beta tests were launched with a registration site. As a result, almost 80 people registered for the tests, with about 50 flying regularly and giving feedback. In June 2009, Air Child finally opened its doors to the public after more than two years of development.
For the past 15 years, our virtual company has seen better and worse days. We've grown slowly but steadily. Currently, the number of registered accounts for pilots is approaching 1,500. However, not everyone from that team is still flying. Some people have left, others are inactive, and COVID also left its mark, as not everyone made it through. Now, those few precious individuals are flying with angels in the heavenly skies.
In early 2023, Air Child Virtual Airline received another big, fresh update. We began considering opening another division for gamers who don’t fly but instead have wheels. Just as pilots have massive online environments like VATSIM and IVAO, there’s another big community—someone even called it #BestCommunityEver. These are virtual truckers in their 18-wheelers traveling the vast network of European and American roads. In late 2023, a virtual trucking company was established and began hiring test drivers. Like the aviation side, drivers are slowly and steadily increasing in number, spreading goodwill on servers and bringing in funds for UNICEF.
I’ve told you about virtual pilots and virtual drivers. But what about the most important part of our community and our main focus here? How do we manage to raise funds for UNICEF through gaming?
We call this part of our mission the Air Child Charity Program.
Although a major purpose of our company is to generate money for UNICEF (as much as possible!), we decided not to charge our members. Instead, we invite everyone—especially companies of any kind—to participate in this charity program. So how does it work? It’s very simple. Sponsoring partners (companies or individuals) pay a certain amount of money for every single flight completed (and reported) by Air Child pilots or for distances driven by our virtual truckers. We call this "a point" - one flight or a specific distance driven (calculated as multiples of 1,000 km). The sponsorship can range from as little as 1 cent to as much as 1 euro per point. It’s entirely up to the donors. We calculate the total, and to ensure no one goes bankrupt supporting us, donors can set a monthly donation limit (although some choose not to, which we gladly accept).
Every three months, we send an email summarizing the total number of operations during the period and the total amount donors need to transfer to UNICEF. Yes, it’s the donors' responsibility to transfer the funds. This way, everyone can be certain that 100% of the money goes to UNICEF and not a single cent stays with us. (Of course, we provide donors with all the necessary information on what to do and how.)
The amount of funds we raise for UNICEF depends on our generous donors and sponsors. We humbly ask anyone who can to join our Charity Program. So far, Air Child has raised about 1,500 euros annually. We hope that number will grow in the future.
Our website is still a work in progress, and we hope it always will be. What you see today is only the foundation of what Air Child may become. Its future is up to you. As long as you continue giving feedback, sharing your wishes, and connecting with fellow pilots, truckers, and staff members, Air Child will grow and remain your airline.
If you’d like to learn more, we invite you to join us on our Discord Server at https://www.discord.gg/Csh9etE or visit our website at https://www.air-child.com.
You can support our cause by spreading the word, becoming a valued sponsor or donor, or simply flying or driving with us.
Hello new users!
As we have requirements spelled out in Rule 1 on including some sort of evidence in your posts, we've created this post for those of you who need help with that.
Rule 1 states:
Posts must be more than just a link to your campaign. Be descriptive! Show evidence!
This includes:
* If this is for your pet, photos of your pet in question, with your username on a handwritten note in the picture.
* School documentation showing enrollment if you are asking for assistance for school.
* Redacted bills showing your situation.
* Or other relevant documentation that can help establish credibility.
* At minimum, please attach an unobstructed selfie photo of yourself(the submitter) with a handwritten note of your username.
* Low effort posts that simply say to the effect of, "everything is listed in the GoFundMe" will be removed.
Generally these are provided as photos or screencaps. Because Reddit doesn't allow an image upload with text, we generally suggest the following:
And that's it!
In times of disaster, it's not uncommon for many good people to try to fundraise for relief efforts, supplies and reconstruction costs. But you should be aware that unless it's someone you personally know and trust, it's also not uncommon for bad people to use the opportunity to make money for themselves.
Before you give, you should ask:
GoFundMe will show that a campaign is benefiting a non-profit charity organization if it is created using their IRS EIN or charity registration number.
Even Paypal donation accounts will show they're owned by a non-profit charity organization, and generate a receipt.
While not every individual doing fundraising is attempting to defraud you of your money, you can give with more confidence by giving directly to a relief charity of your own choosing via their own web pages.

To view your karma breakdown:
The following circumventions will result in a ban:
Comment Karma is directly correlated to how many comments you leave plus/minus any points as people upvote a popular comment or downvote an unpopular comment.
AKA, Why Do We Have Account Requirements for Individuals?
In an effort to make your crowdfunding efforts more successful here on Reddit, some background first:
In many of the gifting and fundraising subs, you'll notice that without a certain amount "karma" and an account that's old enough, you'll garner down votes or worse, your posts and comments get automatically removed.
Why?
To many Redditors, this place is a community built on activity. The "coin" of the land here is your account, and how much you've contributed to the Reddit community at large reflected in post and comment karma.
As a general rule, Redditors dislike the creation of accounts specifically to fund raise or to make requests. It makes it seem like these people simply treat Reddit as some sort of magical internet wallet, and that doesn't win many friends.
The other reason why new accounts are so disliked is that they're often alternate accounts of established users, in order to hide their activity from people they know. While we do sympathize with those of you who have valid reasons, this privilege is often abused by those who create disposable accounts to scam people for a quick buck.
This trust issue doesn't exist in the same way with certified non-profit groups, as you can look them up online for verification, and at least in the case of 501c(3)s, their spending is transparent due to their required tax filings which are public information.
So if you're new to Reddit, welcome! Spend some time and look around for something that catches your interest and chat it up with others and become part of the community!
However if you're here for the sole reason of making requests in a hurry, please be aware your pleas for help will likely be ignored.
REMEMBER, CREDIBILITY AND COMMUNITY IS EVERYTHING!
For this reason, the mods will not post anything on behalf of any user that does not meet account requirements.
We aren't the government. We aren't a court of law. We definitely don't want you to give out information that could lead to identity theft. However, some campaigns are more successful when they have additional documentation.
This includes:
Low effort posts that simply say to the effect of, "everything is listed in the GoFundMe" (or less!) will be removed.
Because Reddit wasn't initially designed to handle photos when it was created, it has limitations in the implementation of photo support which don't work well for us. So instead we suggest the following:
Please make sure to include this, as it is the primary reason why posts that are otherwise fine get removed.
Not all crowdfunding campaigns are the same, but here are some suggestions.
Please don't hesitate to ask the mods!
... Unless you're trying to ask for an exception to the account requirements.
Hi everyone!
In August I will be taking on a Mount Kilimanjaro trek in support of Student Minds, raising money to improve mental health in UK university communities.
Young people's mental health is really important so it would be a great help to donate or share my JustGiving page where I'll post updates about all my fundraising activities.
1 in 3 students surveyed by Students Minds in 2022 reported poor mental well-being, as well as 75% of Black and Asian students reporting their mental health being negatively affected by racism (Unite Students, 2022) and 94% of LGBTQ+ students experiencing mental health difficulties (Cibyl, 2023). Poor mental health at university is leading to decreased performance and drop-outs and the NHS is currently struggling to meet the demands for mental health support whilst universities feel they don't have the recourses and training to respond to students in distress.
Student Minds runs many programmes including: training accommodation staff to support students in university halls, supporting students through student life via their online student space, running workshops for students to learn how to protect their own well-being as well as being their for their friends, and encouraging the education sector and government to create more change by expanding the knowledge of what students are going through.
You can read more about what Student Minds do to tackle the current problems in young people's mental health on their website https://www.studentminds.org.uk/ and check out their latest impact report for what they did in 2023 https://www.studentminds.org.uk/ourimpact.html
I'd be extremely grateful for any support you can give. Thank you! https://www.justgiving.com/page/florence-spear-1732711790407
If you work in health care, or you want to salute those in a certain specialty who have helped you or a loved one, the annual Health Care Workers vs Hunger campaign is on through the end of Dec. 3.
Here’s how it works:
You give to a local, national or global charity that helps people in need of food, whether that’s a food bank, soup kitchen, restaurant leftovers rescue, or hunger-relief NGO.
Go to hcwvshunger.org and enter the amount you gave, any matching amount that the charity might be receiving from other donors, and your contact info. Upload a photo of your donation receipt.
Choose a team to attribute your gift to - the full list is on the bottom of the form. (For instance, Team Eat Our Words is for health and science communicators, and Team Kidvengers is for everyone working in children’s health.) if you don’t see a team that suits you, you can create one!
Spread the word on social media using #HCWvsHunger and your preferred team’s name as a hashtag.
This campaign started in November 2020 when a pair of doctors saw the tremendous need created by the pandemic and decided to rally their fellow medical providers and play on the natural rivalry between professions. In the first 4 years donors gave $2.5 million US to food charities!

Hi All,
As we dive into the joyous Christmas festivities, I can’t help but think of the critically ill children who may not get the chance to spend this season at home with their families. For them, a "normal Christmas" may feel out of reach—but together, we can bring some light into their lives.
I’ve set up a fundraising page to support the amazing work of Great Ormond Street Hospital. Every donation, no matter the size, helps create smiles and precious memories for these brave kids during their toughest days.
Donating is simple, secure, and impactful. JustGiving ensures your details are safe—they won’t sell them or send unwanted emails. Plus, every penny goes directly to the charity.
If you’d like to help, please visit my fundraising page https://www.justgiving.com/page/adaezegoshappeal.
Thank you so much for reading and for considering spreading a little extra joy this Christmas.
Hello everyone, I started a GoFundMe because I have gotten to a point where everything has become overwhelming. I had to take a leave of absence from work to help my mother after her surgery. Since there was complications with her incisions things have become harder. Now am struggling to pay bills like the rent for my house and smaller bills as well which are late. It always been hard for me to ask for help even still I would appreciate your support. Every single share and donation makes a difference and helps me get closer to my goal. Thank you so much for everything.
Please help my friend! Unfortunately we live thousands of miles apart and this is all I can do to get her help with rent. She's going to food banks and able to find free hot meals, any other resources would be greatly appreciated. If you can or feel called to please share the link however possisble💜🙏
I'm reaching out in desperate need of support for my sister and her four sons who are facing imminent homelessness during this holiday season.
My beloved sister, a devoted single mother of four beautiful boys, including one with special needs, is in a crisis situation where she and my nephews may soon be without a home. As their aunt, watching them face this uncertainty is heartbreaking. As winter approaches, the urgency of finding safe, stable housing becomes more critical each day. The thought of where my nephews will celebrate the upcoming holidays keeps our entire family awake at night.
I've watched my sister work tirelessly to provide for her four boys, including one who requires special care and attention. As her sister, I can attest to her honesty, integrity, and unwavering dedication to her children's wellbeing. She doesn't drink or do any drugs. Her sole focus has always been creating a stable, nurturing environment for my nephews. Despite facing numerous challenges and being forced to leave difficult situations behind, she has maintained her strength and dignity throughout.
My nephews range in age, each with their own needs and challenges, making this housing crisis particularly complex and frightening for them all. My sister's greatest wish is to provide them with the stability they deserve after having to leave behind so many painful situations.
It breaks my heart to watch my sister's desperate search for housing. She has spent money she couldn't afford to lose on rental applications. Money that could have gone toward a deposit or rent. Each rejection depletes not only her limited savings but also her hope. Despite this, she continues to search tirelessly for a safe place where her family can rebuild their lives.
The past three months have been especially challenging for my sister and her boys. Beyond their housing crisis, we've endured the loss of a beloved family member to a sudden stroke and our family gathering place to an arsonist. Adding grief and emotional strain to an already difficult situation. These compound losses have been particularly hard on my nephews during what should be a joyful holiday season.
I'm urgently seeking support to:
Your contribution, no matter the size, will directly help keep my sister's family together and safely housed. We're racing against time to prevent my sister and her boys, including my special needs nephew, from facing homelessness or being forced to separate.
Please help us give these boys and their mother, the gift of security and stability during this critical time. Your generosity could make the difference between this family having a home for the holidays or facing an unthinkable alternative.
Thank you for taking the time to read their story and consider supporting my family in crisis.
In every war, it’s always the civilians who bear the heaviest burden, losing their homes, their safety, and their sense of normalcy. In Lebanon, countless families have been displaced, their homes reduced to rubble, leaving them to sleep on the streets without even the most basics necessities. Shockingly, these are the "lucky ones"—those who have survived the chaos but now face a daily struggle to find food, warmth, and dignity. The situation is dire, and they desperately need our help. Together, we can make a difference. Please support our efforts to provide relief through Roots by donating here:

. Every contribution counts and brings hope to those who need it most.
This year, my cousin has bravely battled cancer, enduring immense challenges. Just as she began to recover, Hurricane Dana struck Valencia, destroying both of her cars, the AC unit and damaging the water pumps of the building that transport the hot water from the solar panels.
Now, they’re left without hot water due to broken pumps, and no reliable transportation. After everything she’s been through, this devastation is overwhelming.
Any contribution makes a difference. Thank you for helping her through this tough time.

Hi Everyone, I will be running the United Airlines NYC Half on March 16, 2025, to support the World Wildlife Fund (WWF) and raise funds to fight deforestation, climate change, and protect wildlife.
My husband is an ecologist, and through him, I’ve gained a deeper appreciation for nature and wildlife. His unique perspective on the environment has inspired me to support a cause that is important to both of us.
Nature has also been a source of peace and strength for me during some of my most challenging times. That’s why this run is more than just a race—it’s my way of giving back to something that has given me so much.
Your contribution, small or big, would be able to make a difference!
