Account Requirements

  • Your account needs to be 30 days or older AND
  • Your account needs a minimum of 300 Comment karma.

The only exceptions for the account requirements are if you are directly linking to a registered certified non-profit organization. For example, a 501c3 or NGO. Or if the fundraising site shows it's going to a registered/certified charity under the organizer's name.

The following circumventions will result in a ban:

  • Using a karma farming subreddit, such as Karma4You.
  • Unsolicited private messaging to push your campaign.
  • Posting your campaign on someone else's post.

Rules

  1. Posts must be more than just a link to your campaign. Be descriptive! Show evidence . This includes:

  • If this is for your pet, photos of your pet in question, with your username on a handwritten note in the picture.
  • School documentation showing enrollment if you are asking for assistance for school.
  • Redacted bills showing your situation.
  • Or other relevant documentation that can help establish credibility.
  • At minimum, please attach an unobstructed selfie photo of yourself(the submitter) with a handwritten note of your username.
  • Low effort posts that simply say to the effect of, "everything is listed in the GoFundMe" will be removed.
  • Please Flair your posts, once created. If you don't know how, just let the mods know and we'll do it for you.

  • Only 1 campaign per user. We want you have some personal connection to the campaign, and not submit multiples simply because they were in the news.

  • Reposts are allowed once a week. If a repost comes up too early, the newest one(s) will be removed.

  • Acceptable transfer methods for individuals are for crowdfunding sites only, such as GoFundme, YouCaring, etc. Individuals should avoid using crypto, or direct banking aps (like Chase). Paypal Pool campaigns are okay, but not regular Paypal accounts. 501c(3) and NGOs may use whatever method they wish. (Updated 1/27/2021)

  • Don't PM people to make requests. If you receive an unsolicited private message, please let us know!

  • Do not post politically-related campaigns. They're just too divisive.

  • Trolling will not be tolerated and offending users will be banned.

  • Don't bug the mods for an exception to the account requirements. None will be given. If you attempt to circumvent the requirement by karma farming or by commenting on someone else's post, your account will be banned.

  • No posting for other Redditors. No Alts. This is viewed as a circumvention of the requirements and the accounts in question will be banned. (New Oct 22, 2020)

  • Selling is only allowed by 1st parties directly. We do not allow selling by 3rd parties to benefit another organization, as there's no transparency to verify that the announced percentage of sales actually goes to the beneficiary. Only direct sales by the non-profit organization are allowed.

Here is the link to my GoFundMe https://gofund.me/bf7acf99

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

1/3 of Inky's tail was amputated—the bill was $1,300, my CareCredit is maxed out, and I can't pay my own medical bills

I'll do my best to keep this brief. I suffer from type one diabetes and lost my job two weeks ago. Unemployment is taking its sweet time to review my case. In an accident somehow about one and a half inches of her tail had been degloved. After rushing her to the vet and approving her procedures we were slapped with a $1,300 bill. In the moment I was just stunned and handed over my CareCredit and decided I would figure it out. Well, figuring it out is harder than I thought. I'm looking for odd jobs right now with apps and asking around my network but in the meantime I need to somehow get my horrible CareCredit bill down (as there's also the expenses of my medicine/supplies/appointments on there). The noose is beginning to tighten and I'm beginning to panic. Anything at all helps.

Asking for help with existing medical credit card debt and upcoming dental surgery to fix complication

Hello, In February of this year our cat Dahlia had surgery to remove a problem tooth. The procedure went well until she had an unexpected complication during healing, and now she needs a second surgery.

The tooth above the space where the one was removed is now digging into the gum causing pain, inflammation, and putting her at risk of infection.

We have a medical credit card to cover the costs up front so she can be seen as soon as possible and not continue to be in pain or worse, but we’re unable to afford the monthly minimum payments and the interest rate is quite high.

The estimated total cost for this surgery is between $1671 and $2108, on top of the existing debt from the last surgery.

The goal of $5500 would pay off the entire balance and cover this surgery.

Anything helps, and we all truly appreciate any donations and shares.

    Thank you so much.

This is our last resort, please consider helping us. My wife has heart problems and I am on disability.

I am a disabled man trying to get the money up for a vehicle. My wife has A-Fib as well as Congested Heart Failure, my wife relies on others to get her to and from work, which at times more often then not the people have proven to be unreliable also they charge us $20 a day even if they aren't able to help her with a ride to or from work; causing my wife to walk to work and back home. With the summer months almost upon us it will be that much harder for her to walk to and from work.

I am asking as well as pleading with everyone to please consider helping us out, we have exhausted every other possible avenue for us to get in a vehicle. Our credit has been highly impacted because of our pursuit of trying to find a vehicle we could get approved for. However without an extremely high down payment we have been turned down.

Below I have included a link to our GoFundMe if you could find it in your heart to help us we would be forever grateful. I am not one to ask for help by any means, with that said I am coming to everyone on here to please consider helping us. Please don't be toxic, Thank you, and God Bless.

Eager Teacher Needs to Finish His Schooling Before He Loses His Job Due to Not Being Certified/Degreeless

Hello there! My name is Caleb and I am currently teaching in an 8th grade classroom as an English Language Arts teacher. I have been teaching on an emergency sub cert for the last five years. I truly believe that I have found my calling to be a teacher. It is one of the greatest and most fulfilling jobs I have ever had. Sadly, I have to work weekends at a restaurant because I do not make my full teacher salary as I am not officially certified through the state. I also run the risk of being let go because I do not have tenure with my district, regardless of all the time and energy that I've put into the system.

I am humbly asking the world to help me. I am not someone that asks for help as I handle my business. However, this is something that I've been grappling with for almost 4 years now and I've finally decided to try my luck and see if people are kind enough to assist me.

Teaching is not just a profession, it is the single most exciting thing that has come into my life. From the first day that I began teaching, to today when I said goodbye to my students, I look forward to every single day that I teach. My students always ask if I ever want kids and I respond, "Why do I need kids when I have you?"

I owe the state of Arizona a grand total of $6,100 and cannot sign up for classes until I get below the $3,000 threshold. I obviously need to pay back the full $6,100 but getting below the 3k will allow me to at least register and begin taking classes again. This process has been over a decade in the making and I need to get it completed. As much as I am embarrassed to ask for help, I wouldn't be here if I didn't think that my reasons for doing so were genuine and if I didn't think that people wouldn't want to help me.

One of my students this year said, "Mr. WB, you're the only teacher that seems to understand us." I said, "But I yell at you sometimes" and they replied, "But you yell at us for reasons we understand and not just because you feel like it." I felt a warmth inside of me that made me realize that I was on the right track.

If you can assist me in this journey, I promise to provide a quality education to every single student that sits in my classroom. To never judge or mistreat a student just because they're different. To always provide an environment that cultivates creativity and understanding of one another.

Thank you for reading my story. If you feel like blessing my life today, here is my GoFundMe link: https://gofund.me/85efcd42

How to Attach a Photo to Your Post for Rule 1

    Hello new users!

As we have requirements spelled out in Rule 1 on including some sort of evidence in your posts, we've created this post for those of you who need help with that.

    Rule 1 states:

Posts must be more than just a link to your campaign. Be descriptive! Show evidence!

    This includes:

    * If this is for your pet, photos of your pet in question, with your username on a handwritten note in the picture.

    * School documentation showing enrollment if you are asking for assistance for school.

    * Redacted bills showing your situation.

    * Or other relevant documentation that can help establish credibility.

    * At minimum, please attach an unobstructed selfie photo of yourself(the submitter) with a handwritten note of your username.

    * Low effort posts that simply say to the effect of, "everything is listed in the GoFundMe" will be removed.

Generally these are provided as photos or screencaps. Because Reddit doesn't allow an image upload with text, we generally suggest the following:

    1. Upload the photo(s) to Imgur.com or other image hosting site.
    2. Copy URL or Link to the photo(s)
    3. In the body of your post here, make sure to include the link that you've copied. It usually starts with http:// or https://.

    And that's it!

    Beware of Opportunists!

In times of disaster, it's not uncommon for many good people to try to fundraise for relief efforts, supplies and reconstruction costs. But you should be aware that unless it's someone you personally know and trust, it's also not uncommon for bad people to use the opportunity to make money for themselves.

Before you give, you should ask:

    1. Is the donation link directly to a relief agency or is it to a middleman? There's no easy transparency when it comes to the spending of funds in a crisis, which makes it easier for funds to not reach the people it's intended to help, so by avoiding middlemen, you can reduce this possibility.
    2. Have you checked the background of the relief agency or organization you're considering? Some spend money more effectively than others meaning that less overhead makes for more money being spent on victims vs administration costs.
    3. Is the agency or organization a registered non-profit or NGO? These kinds of entities have strict reporting rules to follow to show how their funds are being spent.
    4. Is the agency or organization providing a receipt? If so, you can often use it for a deduction on taxes for the current year. If not, the agency or organization is likely not a registered non profit.

GoFundMe will show that a campaign is benefiting a non-profit charity organization if it is created using their IRS EIN or charity registration number.

Even Paypal donation accounts will show they're owned by a non-profit charity organization, and generate a receipt.

While not every individual doing fundraising is attempting to defraud you of your money, you can give with more confidence by giving directly to a relief charity of your own choosing via their own web pages.

Does anyone know where to ask for help in getting a vehicle that I can get modified for use because I have a Disability?

I'm disabled with a partial lower right leg (middle of my shin) and foot amputation.

They can send me for Driver Rehabilitation retraining to learn to drive a vehicle with modifications to the accelerator and break - i.e. hand controls. Driver Rehabilitation will also go with me to the DMV to help me get my license.

My problem is this. I'm on Disability and only have about half the money per month I was paid while I was working. It's not enough to get a vehicle.

What kind of help can I get for getting a vehicle?

Can I apply to get a vehicle outright from a Charity?

Do Police (or Government) auctions help with confiscated vehicles for Disabled people?

Has anyone gotten enough Donations for paying outright for a vehicle?

    Thanks for any help.

New to r/Charity? Read this first!

    Welcome to /r/Charity!

Got a charitable cause you'd like to share! This is the place!

    Requirements

For 501c(3) non-profits (US) or a Non-Governmental Organization (aka NGO outside the US)

    • For a registered 501c(3) or other certified charity (such as NGO's in other non-US countries), the charity must be listed in a governmental web site for verification.
    • A fundraiser that is being handled directly by that charity, such as the American Heart Association's Heartwalk or JDRF's charity walk, where you supply a link on their site for your team/yourself.
    • A crowdfunding site that shows it is directly benefiting a certified charity.

Please modmail us so that we can flair your post as a registered certified non-profit!

    For Everyone Else

    You must have both

    • Account age of 30 days or older AND
    • Comment karma of 250 or greater.

NOTE: We are specifically looking for COMMENT karma. The karma value you are probably looking at is a COMBINED value, consisting of both Link/Post karma plus Comment karma.

    To view your karma breakdown:

    • Mouse-hover over your username on desktop. This works for both the old and redesigned web site.
    • On the official Reddit app for iOS, view your profile, then tap the karma value shown.
    • On the official Reddit app for Android, you can't. Complain on /r/redditmobile.
    • On the unofficial Reddit App for Android, RIF (Formerly known as Reddit is Fun), your breakdown is listed on your profile screen.

The following circumventions will result in a ban:

    • Using a karma farming subreddit, such as Karma4You, or asking for/complaining about karma in a general sub.
    • Unsolicited private messaging to push your campaign.
    • Posting your campaign on someone else's post.

Comment Karma is directly correlated to how many comments you leave plus/minus any points as people upvote a popular comment or downvote an unpopular comment.

    Credibility, Community, and You

AKA, Why Do We Have Account Requirements for Individuals?

In an effort to make your crowdfunding efforts more successful here on Reddit, some background first:

In many of the gifting and fundraising subs, you'll notice that without a certain amount "karma" and an account that's old enough, you'll garner down votes or worse, your posts and comments get automatically removed.

    Why?

To many Redditors, this place is a community built on activity. The "coin" of the land here is your account, and how much you've contributed to the Reddit community at large reflected in post and comment karma.

As a general rule, Redditors dislike the creation of accounts specifically to fund raise or to make requests. It makes it seem like these people simply treat Reddit as some sort of magical internet wallet, and that doesn't win many friends.

The other reason why new accounts are so disliked is that they're often alternate accounts of established users, in order to hide their activity from people they know. While we do sympathize with those of you who have valid reasons, this privilege is often abused by those who create disposable accounts to scam people for a quick buck.

This trust issue doesn't exist in the same way with certified non-profit groups, as you can look them up online for verification, and at least in the case of 501c(3)s, their spending is transparent due to their required tax filings which are public information.

So if you're new to Reddit, welcome! Spend some time and look around for something that catches your interest and chat it up with others and become part of the community!

However if you're here for the sole reason of making requests in a hurry, please be aware your pleas for help will likely be ignored.

REMEMBER, CREDIBILITY AND COMMUNITY IS EVERYTHING!

For this reason, the mods will not post anything on behalf of any user that does not meet account requirements.

    Rules

    1. Posts must be more than just a link to your campaign. Be descriptive! Show evidence . This includes:
      1. If this is for your pet, photos of your pet in question, with your username on a handwritten note in the picture.
      2. School documentation showing enrollment if you are asking for assistance for school.
      3. Redacted bills showing your situation.
      4. Or other relevant documentation that can help establish credibility.
      5. At minimum, please attach an unobstructed selfie photo of yourself(the submitter) with a handwritten note of your username.
      6. Low effort posts that simply say to the effect of, "everything is listed in the GoFundMe" will be removed.
    2. Please Flair your posts, once created. If you don't know how, just let the mods know and we'll do it for you.
    3. Only 1 campaign per user. We want you have some personal connection to the campaign, and not submit multiples simply because they were in the news.
    4. Reposts are allowed once a week. If a repost comes up too early, the newest one(s) will be removed.
    5. Acceptable transfer methods for individuals are for crowdfunding sites only, such as GoFundme, YouCaring, etc. Individuals should avoid using Paypal, crypto, or direct banking aps (like Chase). 501c(3) and NGOs may use whatever method they wish.
    6. Don't PM people to make requests. If you receive an unsolicited private message, please let us know!
    7. Do not post politically-related campaigns. They're just too divisive.
    8. Trolling will not be tolerated and offending users will be banned.
    9. Don't bug the mods for an exception to the account requirements. None will be given. If you attempt to circumvent the requirement by karma farming or by commenting on someone else's post, your account will be banned.
    10. No posting for other Redditors. No Alts. This is viewed as a circumvention of requirements and both accounts will be banned.
    11. Selling is only allowed by 1st parties directly. We do not allow selling by 3rd parties to benefit another organization, as there's no transparency to verify that the announced percentage of sales actually goes to the beneficiary. Only direct sales by the non-profit organization are allowed.

Supporting Information Requested for Non-501c(3) and Non-NGO campaigns.

We aren't the government. We aren't a court of law. We definitely don't want you to give out information that could lead to identity theft. However, some campaigns are more successful when they have additional documentation.

    This includes:

    • Pet related requests: Photos of your pet in question, with your username on a handwritten note in the picture. This helps show you actually own the pet in question.
    • Education related requests: Documentation showing enrollment or acceptance if you are asking for assistance for school.
    • Redacted bills showing your situation. In some cases, a donor may prefer to pay a creditor directly on your behalf, so be prepared and find out if that is available to you.
    • If you are sharing a campaign for a registered certified non-profit organization (such as a 501c3 or NGO), you should say so in the post, and it should list that status on the campaign page/web site.
    • Or other relevant documentation that can help establish credibility.

Low effort posts that simply say to the effect of, "everything is listed in the GoFundMe" (or less!) will be removed.

How to Include a Photo or Other Supporting Info Document In Your Post

Because Reddit wasn't initially designed to handle photos when it was created, it has limitations in the implementation of photo support which don't work well for us. So instead we suggest the following:

    1. Upload your photo to Imgur.com or other photo hosting site.
    2. Copy the URL for the photo.
    3. Create a new post or Edit your existing one to include the URL to the photo.

Please make sure to include this, as it is the primary reason why posts that are otherwise fine get removed.

Advice On Making Your Campaign Go Further

Not all crowdfunding campaigns are the same, but here are some suggestions.

    • Make sure your campaign has been shared among your Facebook friends! You might think it's embarrassing, however your friends and family are more likely to care than internet strangers.
    • Show that you've exhausted all the other possibilities. A lot of potential donors don't like to give money when it seems like the requester's first and only solution is to simply throw someone else's money at the problem. Nobody is going to take your word when you literally only say, "but I've done everything!", when the actual reality is probably closer to "I've done everything I can think of", which arguably is NOT everything.
    • Show that there's a plan to use the money wisely. Often people have campaigns for their business ideas, but it doesn't really seem like they thought it all the way through. Tell people what steps you've taken so far, and what you're going to do next.
    • Be open to critics. If there's something that people ask about, you should not be dismissive. Provide more detail. There's a possibility that they know something you don't, or they have something different about their own experience that might be useful to you. If you simply brush off your critics, it shows objectively that you're not doing everything possible.
    • Review your own campaign with the mindset of a potential donor. Ask yourself, "Would I give money to this?" Or get a friend to review it for you.

    Questions?

Please don't hesitate to ask the mods!

... Unless you're trying to ask for an exception to the account requirements.

Transgender woman needs assistance with gender-affirming care To be able to make it to and from Surgery Center. Medical

    https://gofund.me/a4839d1d

My name is River and I am a transgender woman who needs your help. For as long as I can remember, I have felt trapped in a body that does not match who I am inside. Even though its been a few years I am ready to take the next step to living authentically and happily as myself. I have found a doctor who specializes in gender-affirming care and who can help me transition medically. This is a life-changing opportunity for me, but it also comes with a high cost.

I need to raise $6,000 to cover the expenses of traveling to California, undergoing surgery, and staying for a month of recovery and follow-up visits. This is a huge amount of money for me, and I cannot afford it on my own. That is why I am reaching out to you today, hoping that you will support me in this journey.

Your donation, no matter how big or small, will make a difference in my life. It will help me achieve the physical alignment that I have always desired, and it will also boost my mental and emotional well-being. It will give me the chance to live fully and freely as the woman I am.

If I manage to raise more than I need, I will donate the excess amount to a local charity that assists LGBT+ and/or transgender individuals. I want to pay it forward and help others who are facing similar challenges.

Thank you for your time and consideration

    With gratitude,

    River"

Veteran here looking for a bit of help until next week. By help I simply mean a loan to buy some food until VA Direct deposit.

Anything helps. And I mean anything, even a dollar from a few folks. I’ll make sure to return on Thursday this upcoming week. Yes I’ve tried the food banks and shelters. The veterans living on the street on drugs need that shelter food more than I. I’m starving but at least have a roof over my head. Everyone is going through something and I’m not placing myself above anyone else. If I don’t ask, no one will know. So l humbly ask. Be safe and may the gods bless you all. Thank you.

Request for help with a work physical renewal. Out of work due to septic miscarriage and seeking a behavioral specialist to help my son with his school suspensions

    Hello,

I was out of work for quite some bit due a septic miscarriage and then experienced some other hard ships related to my 6yo son being suspended. He has gotten the proper support he needs. But due to the time I have taken off work to put out fires, we are behind on everything. We are a family of 4 (3 children under 8). Just stretched thin.

I have an opportunity for a higher paying job in my field, but need an updated physical. I have no insurance and all my credit cards are maxed from navigating my physical and caring for my baby.

Usually it’s 100 out of pocket but I was able to find a chiropractic facility that chargers 45. We are located in Florida.

This has been cross posted but will be notified once need is met. More than willing to pay somebody back. Just need a blessing to move forward and get to that point.

Is this community just for US based charities? I'm based in the UK and wanting to promote my fundraising!

I'm just curious as I'm based in the UK and me and my colleague are doing a 100km charity walk this June raising money for a children's cancer trust, and I was unsure if I could post it in here as after a continued amount of scrolling every other event seems to be based in the US.

If I'm in the wrong sub would anyone else know where I could promote it?

Any help would be greatly appreciated 💪

Hit By Car in January but MRIs Revealed Bigger Health Issues Need Help Making Bills Until I Can Get Back To Work

I had posted a while back about how I was struck by a car in a crosswalk in January when I was walking to the store - since that things have gotten worse for my health substantially.

While looking over my MRIs and discharge papers I discovered when the imaging was taken at the hospital the night of the accident they revealed multiple cysts in my body (lungs and ovary) along with concerns with my intestines. They hadn’t reviewed with me after my trauma visit to the hospital because they weren’t related to the accident. I did not notice these in the 30+ page discharge papers until much later since they were unrelated to the accident no one mentioned them.

Since the discovery I completely quit smoking and have been referred to three doctors including pulmonary and a gastro and am looking at stomach surgery on top of the physical therapy and continuing exams for the car that hit me.

With the extremely intense process of trying to find doctors, get referrals approved, schedule the appointments and get treatment I am overwhelmed and running out of funds to pay my regular bills.

I had set up a gofundme and made an Amazon wishlist (set up so people can send things other than just what’s listed because it was suggested) which includes essentials I can’t afford atm like cat food for my boys, aids for my recovery or non-perishables and water and while I hate to ask for help - until the car insurance stuff settles/my health evens out I’m just not making enough to make ends meet on my own. Unfortunately I don’t have family to ask as most my family passed when I was in my twenties and so I’m here asking you all - if you can spare it please consider my post.

    • I’m happy to answer questions if anyone has them - Thank you so much for reading this and even if you can’t help just know I appreciate you. And I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend!

Please consider helping my homeless family and 5 pets with enough for a motel stay for 1-3 weeks until business sells.

    https://gofund.me/c72f1a17

Hello, my name is Crystal and I'm requesting donations to my GoFundMe to help with motel fees for 1-2, possibly 3 weeks at the most for my homeless family and 5 pets. We lost our house to foreclosure on February 13th this year and we were given a cash for keys deal to vacate. We already used that up until March 29th where we were then unable to afford shelter and have been living in a borrowed car ever since. The particular motel is a pet friendly motels 6 and estimates for 1 week for one room range around $830, and we would need 2 rooms to follow the pet policy. They allowed a third dog into my parents room so it's important we return to that particular one.

It is currently my mom (62), dad (64), myself (38), 3 dogs and 2 cats (album link below). My mother has cataracts and can't see very well beyond some shapes and some colors. She has to be escorted everywhere by hand and given real time voice directions and it's been rough living out of the car since we have to use McDonald's, burger kings, and wawas to use the bathroom and we change in porta potties at the public parks where we walk the dogs daily. My father just finished his first cycle of infusions for an anemic blood disorder where his bone marrow doesn't produce enough red and white blood cells and a particular antigen which drops his hemoglobin and now platelets. He is taking prednisone and lasix and needs more food and bathroom availability than we currently have. My sister(34) is mentally disabled, has schizophrenia, and has to be tube fed as she has a hemi glossectomy (tongue removal + replacement and reconstruction on her jaw), luckily she was put into a nursing facility last year as we knew foreclosure was coming. I was her caretaker from 2020-late summer 2023 and couldn't work as she required round the clock care because my mother couldn't see to feed her and my father was at work. I had quit working with him to take on that role.

My dad had the blood disease but not the specific diagnosis and didn't qualify for snap (therefore my mother didn't) because he worked as an independent contractor/vendor for a cake company and made too much money. He has been trying to sell the route for a year as we tried to save ourselves from foreclosure and he's had a buyer for that year. My dad ended up hospitalized in November 23 so that's when most money dried up. The entire year we were facing foreclosure we didn't have electricity, working bathrooms, heat or stable sources of food. We had help from our former neighbors but it was rough, and the motel stay was the first time we felt human again in a long time. The route will officially go to close Monday 4/29, and should only be delayed at the most a week from that date should the broker not get his paperwork on time.

We've reached out to our local homeless resources and while we do get hot food from the hot food pantries, my father's medication makes him eat more and so we rely on my Snap benefits alone and those disappear quickly. As for shelter they do not accept animals, and even if we didn't have them we would likely be separated to different shelters and my I manage my father's medications. There are housing wait lists but they are currently full.

Our goal once the route sells for its 100k minus broker fees is to use my sister and father's disability certification (we are pending a ssdi interview to start dada disability process) to get a first time home buyer loan and/or use Maryland Home Ability mortgage program to buy a manufactured or mobile home to live in, and also get a suv for ourselves so I can return my friend's car.

Any donations would be appreciated and go a long way to helping my parents feel better as well as get our pets on a regular schedule and diet. They hate car life as much as we do. If you have any questions don't hesitate to ask and I'll answer as soon as I can, or provide any other proofs required.

Thank you for taking the time to read and possibly share even if you can't offer help. I don't use any other social media beyond reddit and discord.

Edit 4/15: Orion, my orange cat, crossed the rainbow bridge today. I believe the heat got to him as we had an 86 degree day. We kept the windows down and ran the air conditioning as best we could as well as parked in the shade. I even sat their carrier outside with me in the shade. He was only 4 1/2 and the sweetest most affectionate cat. He will be missed.

Just got off the phone with the broker from my dad's job who is organizing the sale of his route. The paperwork is coming via DocuSign today and then being bounced around to the buyer and 3-4 other suits before he gets it back. Then the specific bakery could take up to 30 days to cut and issue a paper check and mail it.

I originally requested help for a month and reduced it to assume we were getting a cashable check in hand the day of the signing. Now I'm modifying it again to request enough for at least a month as that is the maximum by law we can stay at one hotel due to MD tenancy laws. I will also be including a minimum food amount in the new goal since we are already 1/3 through my SNAP benefits for the month as I'm feeding 3 people.

Any help is appreciated and desperately needed. I've already lost a beloved pet to this insanity and I don't want to lose any more.I will be modifying the content of my next allowed posting to incorporate all this information for clarity and dates for transparency.
