This dude was chilling outside my window at work for more than an hour yesterday. He popped a squat and curiously watched me do human things. This morning, he brought a friend with him, but his friend was a little more timid and flew off. I named him Hank. Pretty sure this is a Red-Tailed hawk, but I’m not sure, due to the fact that he does not have a red tail. Maybe pre-molt? I’m not sure. Pretty chill hawk though.
found him scratching my window
So young, no feathers yet, couldn't find a nest, was on the ground chirping very loudly, and it's hungry but I don't know what to do. What do I do until I get it to a rehab center?
