London - My fiancé spotted the pair on the tree right outside ours, glad the sunset helped with the lighting. 😊
Hey folks! I spend a lot of time out in the rice fields of northern California. Been watching the bird migrations for a few years. I'm retired and my eyesight is not the greatest - never was but it's worse these days. I'm wondering if there is an easy to carry, light weight camera with a reasonable bit of telephoto capability. My phone camera is optimized for panaramas and indoor settings. I just want to be able to capture what I see with occasionally a bit of zoom without sacrificing resolution. Any recommendations for someone who doesn't want to carry around a couple of pounds of camera?
The Alabama Gulf Coast is home to many species of birds, with pelicans being a common and photogenic variety.

Not a beautiful shot, but I think it’s kind of neat! Seeing them all leave at sunset is really something!

If you can tell me what bird this is, I'd appreciate it.
