    The common hippo is classified as Vulnerable (VU) by the IUCN, and the pygmy hippo is classified as Endangered (EN).

    Hippos are highly aggressive and unpredictable animals, and they are ranked among the most dangerous animals in Africa. Nevertheless, they are still threatened by habitat loss and poaching for their meat and ivory canine teeth.

    baby hippo lovers should know about "the worst cat"

    There was a tumblr post that went viral in 2014, and it was one of the few things that could make me actually laugh out loud, both when I first read it and every time I'd think of it in the years that followed. It was called "The Worst Cat," and I think folks here would really appreciate it.

    I see that this subreddit was also created in 2014, so I'm surprised that searching for "worst cat" here yields just one result, a single comment. Do baby hippo lovers have a thing against cats?
