I somehow managed to have the Gloss Bomb Vault in my cart - Fenty cancelled my order.😢 NGL it’s the only reason I placed the order.
i’m so tempted but i’m trying to save money (we’ll meant to be anyways) - has anyone bought or bought in the past and can confirm if it’s worth it or not?
Hiya! I have been wanting to get the aforementioned eyeliner pack but have had doubts.
I am completely cool toned and the warm toned eyeliners (eg. reds, oranges, golds etc), I will never use them.
There are some other complete sets that I’m wanting, such as “The Supers”, that also have some I wouldn’t want.
Is there anyone who would be willing to work something out where you pay for the items you’d get? I’m in Melbourne and I’d really love to do this with someone who is also in Melbourne, it would just be easier. But I’m not picky about this, if you’re in another state so be it. We can work it out ☺️
I hope someone replies 💙
Oh, I really want to do this while the sale is still going so if you’re interested, please don’t hesitate to message me ¨̮ 🩵
I just got a new YSL eyeliner in the Black Friday sale from YSL.com.au
When I opened it the nib was snapped clean. It was damaged when I opened it.
Do you think it’s worth contacting them
Adore Beauty will be opening a store in Westfield Southland!! I'm actually surprised and curious as if we can use our membership in store.
I am honestly curious as if people throw out makeup after 6/12 months. I have an eyeshadow palette I still use and I think I've had it for 3 years now. I'm starting to get worried it'll be bad for me but god I love it.
Hey I’m nosey and curious what you guys bought from the sales and if you chose to not buy stuff I’m also interested. Will be helpful for next year.
I know this might seem a bit cheeky, but they have done it for years, and this seems to be the first sale where their codes don’t work. Now, I wouldn’t mind so much, but they’ve continued sending discount code emails throughout the sale, for anywhere between $5-$50. Why send out those emails if they don’t apply to basically everything on your site at the time of sending?
Has anyone else noticed this over their Black Friday sales or am I the only poor looking for a great deal? ☺️
EDIT: And with previous sales they’ve had Goody Bags and gifts with purchase for all orders (other than a sachet and the ol’ Tim Tam). That’s what makes this extra disappointing.
I’ve been using the VS Sassoon Air Style Brilliance Hair Styler for two years now, it is my first hair styler of this kind and I’ve liked it so far. I have slightly wavy hair and I suspect that this styler is not the best choice for me, it is causing breakage and leaving my hair quite frizzy most of the times (I can clearly see the difference when I’m using it quite frequently vs lazy weeks when I just let my hair be). So I’ve been thinking of switching to a different styler to see if it makes a difference.
Again, my focus is less damage and frizz control.
I’ve read up a lot on the two products and I know that shark is heavier, buttons are not ideally placed, the direction of the curler cant be changed and its noisy. I don’t mind this at the price point it comes at. I also like that it comes with the diffuser and I won’t have to get it separately as I have been thinking of trying out wavy hair routines.
Now with the dyson, I am not sure how good the smoothening attachment is but I am hopeful it could fix my frizziness issue. I also like how it comes with a filter cleaner. With the current sales, it will be about double the price of the Shark. However, if this less damaging + assuming it reduces the frizz as well I don’t mind spending this.
I would love to know if anyone has had similar concerns and if either of the products worked/ didn’t work.
I have also been considering going to Mecca to see if the Airwrap works for me if they have the smoothening attachment there, are there any stores I can try the Flexstyle at as well?
Thanks!!!
Hii, ok so with the lack of long form content and full face tutorials out there I’ve been struggling to figure out how everyone is setting down their base makeup. I have dry/normal skin so oiliness is not an issue yet my makeup transfers so easily despite using setting spray, like when i’m hugging someone and my face lightly touches their clothes.
My questions are: How can I prevent makeup transfer? Do we need to be powdering the whole face (on top of cream bronzer and cream blush?)
If so, do I use powder foundation, a pressed powder or a loose powder? I feel so confused with all the options available.
And what tools (puff or brushes?)
Also, is there any way to set my makeup without making my face matte and dry looking?
Usually on social media I only see people setting their under eye, or I see them baking which is confusing to me because it only sets the ‘highlighted’ parts of the face, not the full face. I know that there are some more intense setting sprays out there like the One Size but I’m a bit intimidated because I get the vibe that they’re made for full-glam days whereas I just want to set my everyday makeup.
I recently ordered the Sistaco product, awaiting delivery, and am concerned as anything I put on fb is declined, just asking questions about the product as I've read it is difficult to remove. I'm concerned as I'm moving from acryclic with shellac and in the process of growing it out. I don't now want to have a similar issue. I also read that if you use your own base and top coat you won't have removal issues. Any advice please?
I picked up a Glowish foundation at a good price, but they had a lot of Huda pallets (the 9 pans), Anastasia pallets, etc. (Not all fingered, nice).
Also a ton of Beauty by Josean and CozRX - at least two full displays, BUT only like one or two dollars cheaper than the W Beauty downstairs, so I wouldn't rush.
(Of course, a shit load of Revolution crap as well, as always).
Help this is embarrassing but I have a very very old blush stick that I love and haven’t been able to find anything similar. I think it was maybelline
It’s this colour on and has a little bit of shimmer in it. Does anything similar exist?

I ordered my first ever hairdryer this week, after months of indecision I decided on a parlux alyon for $270 from SSS beauty. But yesterday I noticed that the Dyson Supersonic is on sale for $499 and I am having major regrets as before I couldn't justify spending $700 on a hair dryer but now thinking maybe it would have been worth spending the extra money...
I haven't even picked up the alyon from the post office yet, so I could probably return it and go get the dyson today but is it really worth the hype/extra $$??
If it helps my hair is not dyed or heat styled ever but gets really dry ends, sorta wavy, loads of flyaways (thought it was breakage but hairdresser said it was healthy so guessing it just frizz/new growth). Length is just above my bra line and medium thickness. I mostly just want to be able to wash my hair before work cos at the moment I have to deal with it looking terrible when I run in the mornings.
Saw this at kmart for only NZ$7! Other cleansing balms are usually $20+
anyone own this palette? how long have you had it for and have you had any issues of mould growing on it? i wanted to buy it as i like the colours in it but am quite wary due to other posts i've seen re mould issues
What’s the best eyeliner for hot humid days, something that lasts all day?
I currently have gel x on. I read online that I should use 100% pure but Im not sure where to get it. I saw that bunnings has diggers acetone. Is that ok to use to remove my nails?
Hey everyone,
I'm wondering what is the best quality yet cheapest shampoos and conditioners in Australia for wavy hair. My hair has started to dry out despite a consistent and proper washing routine and the usual.
Thank you for any answers <3
Hi everyone, I’m looking for advice on managing my 9-year-old daughter’s hair. It’s rough, dry, and I suspect it’s curly. She’s neurodivergent, so we need products and a routine that are very gentle and won’t overwhelm her.
We’re based in Australia, so recommendations for products available here would be really helpful. Any advice on a washing and styling routine or kid-friendly curly hair products would be amazing. Thanks so much for your help!
Okay so I’ve got a trip to Europe next year not sure if what I’ve looked at is correct but it seems Australia and Europe are on the same / similar volts like 220-240 I’ve recently purchased the shark flex style in Australia and I’m looking at the volts and all I can find is that it’s 120 but that should mean it doesn’t work in Australia I’m just so confused and can’t find the specs for the Australian shark flex style
Hi all, I was wondering if anyone has any recommendations for cool toned, non-matte, dark-ish red lipsticks that are affordable? I've been looking online this morning cause I haven't worn lipstick in a long time but I'm considering buying one to wear this Christmas. The best I've found so far is Maybelline's Colour Sensational cream lipstick in Crimson Race, it looks perfect but I can only find it on Amazon and it feels a bit ridiculous to order one lipstick off of there lol. I have dark brown hair, lightish olive skin and dark brown eyes. The only red lipstick I own is too bright and too warm toned, it looks orange and makes my skin look orange and I hate it haha. Would prefer actual stick lipstick and not liquid, my only experience with liquid lipstick was that it felt horribly sticky and settled into all the cracks and creases on my lips, I wear lip balm constantly but my lips are still very dry most of the time so I don't think liquid is for me, unless someone has invented one that doesn't do that, I have no idea. Thanks in advance! ❤️
I'm guessing the initial price was an error (for Mecca standards anyway) but I bought this in July for $72! I did notice they did a restock back then and it was still $72 a few weeks later. Who makes these decisions.. "Let's double the price for black Friday" 😂
Anyway, in stock now again in case anyone was after it.
What products would you recommend that are talc free? Rms beauty is on my radar, yet to try anything. Aussie wise it’s hard to figure out what palettes and powders don’t contain talc. There are some outdated resources in other groups with some items that are discontinued or not available in Australia.
