Hi Everyone,
I’m looking to partner with boutique stores in Australia to merchandise my collection that is a 100% cotton and hand block printed women's wear. I’m interested in stores that align with my brand’s style and values, and I’d love to connect with anyone who might have leads or recommendations.
Any insights on boutiques that support independent designers or focus on unique, quality pieces would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks so much in advance!
This may be a bit niche but I don’t know where else to ask. Does anyone know how I could possible fix/ alter this? (See photo) it’s a latex bodysuit that is bunching up at the lower back
So my mom agrees to buy me a channel classic 11.12 for my 18th, I was wondering is it worth it or should I get a car instead?
Hello, I am looking for some adorable and hot🥵 Jewllery, but cheap. That won't turn you green/black, Like on Shein what materials should I put in ect. Ty in advance x
For anybody that wears clothing outside of basic garments, it seems impossible to actually find pieces that are made of cotton, linen, rayon etc. If you want anything unique like this dress, well too bad that's $140 for plastic. Sure I can go shop second-hand, but I shouldn't have to. Are there any brands that sell alternative clothing that isn't polyester? I mean who's paying full price for brands like this or Dangerfield where they're pricing polyester as a luxury? Am I just broke for not wanting to pay this much?
Does anyone else put theirs in the dryer? Will it shrink??
Do they change the font every year so everyone knows how long you’ve had your undies for lmao
Sorry if this post is a little bit strange but I just don't know where else to ask.
I live in a country where Black Milk Clothing doesn't ship to, so if I want to buy a vegan leather jacket from them I need to use a PO box in the United States.
First, I contacted the PO box company to ask if there was any issue and they told me that they could forward the parcel to me no problem but wouldn't be able to accept the package or pay on my behalf if there were any duties or taxes.
I contacted Black Milk next and they told me there were no duties if the order was less than $800 USD (which it is), but that I should check if there were any taxes or duties on specific textiles just in case.
The jacket I want to buy is vegan leather and I don't know if that will make it have any duties or extra charges.
Has anyone here ever bought a vegan leather jacket from BMC in the US before? Did you have to pay any taxes or duties when the parcel got to you?
Any advice or help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you all in advance.
I literally bought from them last week (although I will be returning as the clothes feel awful lol), and I do click on their emails occasionally. What a weird approach.
Anyone ordered from Leelo Active before and have tips on their sizing? I’m normally a size 8/S but their chart indicates an XS might be a better fit. Should I go with the smaller size? Also, how is the quality?
Thanks in advance!😀
Hi, I'm moving to Oz and have lots of UK and Irish fashion inspo that I follow but it's obviously the wrong season for Australia. Does anyone have recommendations on fashion influencers who are Aussie size 12-14? Thanks!
Hi all
I am trying to figure out what size I should get, if anyone knows much about afends sizing I'd be very grateful.
I usually wear a size 27 in high waisted denim and a 26 in low/mid rise denim.
73cm waist or less depending on the time of day, 97cm bum (with narrow hips though) and generous quads from strength sports. I'm about 5'4".
I bought a size 26 pair of jeans from afends a while back and while they were a baggy style they were like a circus tent and I had to get them taken in.
Great material though and COMFY!
I emailed their team and explained that I'm 2 different sizes on their size chart and they just told me to go up to the next size which is a 28.
There aren't any stockists near me so I can't try on.
But tbh I'm just worried they'll arrive and be huge.
Any advice?
PS - Styles I am looking at are Emilie and Seventy Threes.
Hi! I'd love to add a lightweight summer trenchcoat to my wardrobe - ideally beige and a medium to long length. It seems like all I can find are more thick/stiff fabrics for transitional seasons, and I'd be so grateful for any tips that help me find a lighter version. I'm in New Zealand with a flexible budget. Thank you!
These sessions have been a blast, and every time, I see the same truths come up: we’ve all got enough, basics rule, and a fresh perspective can make you feel brand new!!
You’ve Got More Than Enough! The biggest surprise? Most people already have all the clothes they need—they just need fresh ideas to mix it up! The phrase I hear most is, “Oh, I never thought to put those two together!”
Saying “comfort” is your style? Nah. You can rock any look and still be comfy—it’s all about the right fit and fabrics.
Invest in quality basics, and you’re set. Everything else? Just the fun extras!
Yes, even the most stylish people sometimes need a fresh perspective. One of my most put-together friends asked me for help, and it was a good reminder that getting a stylist doesn’t mean you don’t know what you’re doing. It’s like ordering a birthday cake—you can bake, but sometimes it’s just easier (and more fun!) to let someone else handle it.
If you’re buying one new thing, make it a nice belt. It can transform a whole outfit, trust me!
We’re all bombarded with “must-have” trends, but do you really need every new thing? If you’re eyeing that trendy suede bag, think: how often will you actually wear it? No need to go broke on every passing fad.
Organising is everything. Don’t tuck away the good stuff where you can’t see it! A cheap IKEA rack can make a world of difference—keep things where they’re easy to grab, and you’ll feel like you’ve got a whole new wardrobe 🤩
Hi everyone, I'm really struggling to find casual clothing in an XXS as an adult. It's tough to find options beyond Abercrombie & Fitch or Ann Taylor. I'm a 00. Unfortunately, I'm very small, and I would appreciate any suggestions. I know Revolve has some good options, but I've also heard that Australian brands might be a great choice. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
Does anyone know any alt brands in NSW??? or even online ones that I could buy scene, grunge, goth, like any type of alt at all (other than Dangerfield) because I honestly can't find any and everywhere I look they like hot topic and spencers like SORRY IM NOT AMERICAN?????
It’s been 5 years, but my wife and I are finally getting away for a couple of nights kid free…
Years ago I used to buy her HB lingerie, but I think the quality has slipped… but want to buy her a few new pieces for the getaway as post child a lot of the older stuff doesn’t fit anymore.
What recommendations these days for lingerie suppliers? Preferably with online ordering.
EDIT: Just placed an order for the Celeste half cup bra and thing set… will check some of the other options and get another one from the other supplier suggestions. Thanks so much ladies…
EDIT2: just placed an order for the Bonnie Bra and brief set from Lonely Label…
I'm posting on behalf of my friend who's printing shirts for her shop tomorrow and we were debating whether people would prefer to buy white, beige/off-white or grey t-shirts (with black print). I like white shirts, but she prefers off-whites and beiges. Can you settle this debate?
Ok so I’ve heard some sketchy things abt ciders clothing but I always see ads for the shoes and they are SO cute!
You see I’m a size 11 so shopping for shoes irl is like a mission impossible movie however, I look through cider and they have my sizing for quite a few of the shoes they sell.
So my question is: have any of you bought shoes from cider before? If so were they good? Did they last for a while?
Hi I’m looking for a MUA in Melbourne who will do a natural soft glam look without making me look artificial. Any recommendations?
I live on the road traveling Aus. I want to swap out most my cloths for natural fibres, noticing just how hot and irritated I am wearing synthetic cheap shit in the heat. I want to make sustainable and ethical choices too so looking for Aus made where possible/practical. Stuff that washes well, and doesn’t end up in the trash straight away eg cotton on and Kmart.
I’m having decision paralysis, and info overload.
I was looking at Afends but saw the below post about the quality.
Buyer beware, Aulieudie does not do refunds for anything other than defects/ damage. If you are unhappy with what you have received for any reason other than a faulty product, you can return for store credit after paying $15.50 for postage. Jesus christ. I don't particularly like any other styles that they offer so either I get another meh dress or I'm out of pocket $370.
I found the dress I received, the Bridgette, to be really unflattering, the bodice really does not work on my chest shape (14f wide set boobs). It looked saggy and puckers weirdly, it's very hard to hide a bra underneath too.
I should have checked the returns policy before I bought but this is woeful. Unless you are veeery sure that it will suit you perfectly, I would steer clear.
There was a post the other day about how to return to W&B but I can’t find it now? Anyway, I’m returning a dress but I can’t find instructions for how to do this with DHL. I’ve printed the slip but no clues on there. Help please! W&B chat is offline, I guess it’s not business hours in the UK.
