I got a used starter box, and there's no terrain in it. Thought I could try to make my own
New Martells unit finally, wondering what are some good attachments for them.
I, for the love of the old gods and the New can't choose a faction to start out with. Since I already play multiple factions in 40k, my budget is limited to one faction and I'm torn between the Night watch, the free folk, House Greyjoy and Stark.
I love the free folk bear riders on the one hand, Like the small elite type nightwatch armies and am a big fan of viking/berserker style units. That's the reason Greyjoy and Stark are also options.
I tend to play aggressively, but enjoy slow and tanky units, creeping forward inch by inch like a wall of impending doom. That's why I play Knights and greater demons in 40k.
I don't really care for nimble maneuvers and wacky tactics. I like straightforward "in your face" style of armies. If you could give me a hint on what might actually fit best, you would make me very, very happy.
Thanks in advance!
I saw a post saying that the brotherhood without banners where now available to pre order but I haven’t been able to find any uk retailers that have them up for pre order. Is the uk release delayed?
A question has come up on the reading of Doran NCU that my group can't decide on. After he claims Water Gardens and replaces its effect, can each token be spent for the same selection in that round, ie, draw 2 cards or heal 6 wounds
Thank you for any help
Hi! I'm new to this game (and to wargaming in general), but i'm enjoyining It a lot. Despite all the fun, i find a little bit sad to see my armies fighting between themselves on the naked surface of my table. Do you have any advices on how to decorate the terrain of my battlefields? Buying playmates, buildings and walls miniatures... Things like that... Which solutions did you use?
Thank you so much for your advices!
As the name suggests I need somthing a bit cheaper then 40k to sate my unending desire for plastic and want to try out some fantasy so I can use some colors I normally never touch with science fiction, and was just wondering I'd this game is still alive or dead/dieing?
As the BWB are nearly out I was wondering what everyone’s favourite unit ,commander, ncu or attachment is
Hey guys seen a lot about taking 3 NCU'S and how it's usually the best. but choosing a third NCU I find I can only bring 1 or 2 cheep attachments excluding the commander and wanted to ask if the NCU is worth it or if buffing up units is better. And how many ncus and attachments do you guys try to bring. Also whats the average for activations on most lists.
Kinda hated the original pose, and was contemplating changing the sword all together, but once removed and changing the position of the arm to a more relaxed posture, I don't really mind that weird guard. Plus, I can paint it separately ☺️
Im trying to come up with an idea for a good Davos list. My main concern being who best to attach him to in regards to his outflank ability. My instinct says Lightbringers so I can drop them on whichever flank would be the best positioning for them. But if I wanted to rush in with Faithful that's an option too since they're a more mobile unit.
Currently playing around with the idea above, with the last point being a red priestess attached to light bringers but the app won't let me do that. If I also misunderstand Davos' note about ignoring usual attachment limits and can't also put red priestess on him, let me know too.
Has the attacker ever actually won? I've played it 5 (attackers 3 times and defenders 2) and I have never once seen a attacker win. Is it truly just rigged against then?
Best attachments for this units? Blacktyde Iron victory crew Harlaw reapers Bowmen Silenced men Pillagers
My ncu are Balon/Wendamyr/erick ironmaker Commander Victaryon
Hi guys, I'm currently playing mainly a Robb's Stark list on dervishes, grey wind and double Tully Cavs with glory seekers, Arya Sansa Catelyn ncus and I'm winning a lot of games, thanks to insane mobility and unit stats. However I heavily underperform during Honed and Ready and A dance with dragons scenarios.
These two scenarios are punishing my list, Honed and Ready can wipe my wolf in a single unfortunate blow from walls making him pretty useless, and opponent just stays still on the objectives and is winning by points.
In the other hand I'm struggling the most in A dance with dragons scenario, the 2'' movement is brutal on my hyper mobile army, making my 7" move dervishes and tully cav very vulnerable.
Do you have a good competitive Stark's lists for these exact scenarios and if, can you explain strength and weaknesses of these lists and briefly your tactics?
Thank you in advance for any feedbacks!!!!!!
Which Units are strong for the Targs atm?
