A reddit community for fans of the Ancient Aliens TV show, or other similar productions, or Ancient Astronaut Theory in general. Also welcome is discussion of possible forgotten Earth civilizations lost to history.
"I'm not saying it was aliens... but it was aliens."
If it is true, as some suggest, that the Earth is being visited by Aliens and UFOs, how long have they been doing so?
Might ancient myths and stories be explained through this new modern insight?
Did humans possess advanced technology in ancient times?
Were other devices like the Antikythera Mechanism wiped out by wars, dark ages, and superstition?
Are we only just now rediscovering Ancient Technologies like Electricity & Magnetism?
Could advanced coastal civilizations have been wiped out by the melting ice caps during the end of the last Ice Age?

I am remembering an old episode of Ancient Aliens where they speak about something called “Spectra.” It was something like an AI Earth defense net…Something to do with advanced tech? Apologies if this is the wrong forum and thank you!
Edit: Found it! Season 3, Episode 10

Has anyone gotten a presale code for the Live show? I’m looking for Akron, Ohio
The kids would love to go.
Hey everyone, I was discussing the cyclical mass extinction events and the possibility to survive catastrophies by fleeing earth only to return when favorable conditions reemerge with Chat GPT. In the chat I asked about what the most stable landmasses could be to leave a monument to leave knowledge, be a staging point, or as a marker for the future and I realized an additional angle on the ancient alien theory. (Had my thoughts reformed logically into this huge block of text btw)
I’ve been thinking about the long-term preservation of ancient monuments like the pyramids, Stonehenge, and Mayan pyramids, and I’m wondering if there's a theory we may haven’t fully explored yet.
What if these monuments were not just built for religious or astronomical purposes, but also with the intentional goal of surviving through geological events like earthquakes, floods, and even mass extinction events? Here’s a new idea I’d like to propose:
Ancient civilizations might have chosen geologically stable regions to build their monumental structures—such as pyramids or megaliths—because these regions (like continental cratons) have remained relatively unchanged for millions of years. This would ensure that their monuments could survive not just their own time, but also beyond. Essentially, they were constructing time capsules for the future, designed to endure geological shifts and natural catastrophes.
It’s possible they had an advanced understanding of Earth’s geology and used this knowledge to select sites that would allow their structures to stand the test of time. This theory adds a new layer to ancient knowledge, suggesting that civilizations not only had advanced astronomy and mathematics but might also have been aware of natural cataclysms and built with survival in mind.
Not sure if it's been discussed in depth here before but I feel that additional knowledge concerning tectonic activity and placement of these structures are an additional avenue that should be considered for ancient humans or any other precursor race. It's even more undeniable that the acute knowledge of tectonic plate activity would suggest a far superior intelligent race existed before humans or documented history
If you left earth for any reason, how would you know where to return to? I hope this drives others to further discover or research areas that have been overlooked. Thoughts?
As a person who has seen the light orbs with my naked eye and has seen a shadow person, this episode makes total sense! I have always said that there are different dimensions and some of us can see them and some of them can see us. Also explains a lot of what people think of as “religious experiences”. This theory makes sense to me and explains my experiences. Anyone else watch the episode? Your thoughts?
I'm disappointed in Ancient Aliens Origins, as its mostly revisiting old content that season 20 was mostly about. Are there's any 'new content' / 'updated content' type series?
According to the Google map, this is called the Tarapaca Giant. I have been seeing posts on Reddit and other sites of images that hint at there being more to our planet that we are lead to believe, in particular, ancient giant creatures and trees that dwarf the largest known dinosaurs to exist. This once appears to be larger than the giant stick figure that is nearby…
What do y’all think of this and the subject?
Sorry if this question has been answered but I'm looking for the best episode to convince my wife 58 of early ancient aliens Thanks so much 🙏
So I watching a video that showed images of handbags from ancient sites around the world and using this to support a theory about lost civilisations.
But when I see the image all I see is a basic bag made from reeds or grass with a handle.
Like what people use for Easter egg hunts, a woven basket. Something you could make at home if you needed a hobby.
So why are people acting like different civilisations building temples wouldn’t also have similar baskets and bags and depict these on temple walls?
It just seems like era appropriate technology carved on a wall.
What am I missing?
…but I love Michio Kaku! He seems really easygoing and always with a smile. I just enjoy watching any segments he’s on. ☺️
My husband and I are certain we saw this episode but have since been unable to find it. In most episodes Giorgio Tsoukalos phrases things in ancient alien theorists believe x, y, or z based on the episodes theme. There is an episode where he actually disagrees with the theory of that episode.
Does anyone else remember this episode? Even narrowing it down to a season or two would help.
so why is no one talking about the newest religion that popped up just a few HUNDRED years ago and how its origin started?? Joseph Smith didn’t talk to an angel, he talked to a real, live, human who was from our waaaaay distant past/lost civilization (the being SAID this) and gave him a device to read these scripts that were from a language no one has seen. The being said he came from a star cluster, Pleiades star cluster!!!?? And then don’t get me started on how the scripts say the alien Jesus himself went to the Americas and explored. And then the other religions that the native americans have of a bearded man coming to teach them their ways. AND THE NATIVES ARE SMART AND ACTUALLY LISTENED TO WHAT WERE SUPPOSED TO DO, CONNECT WITH NATURE AND LIVE OFF THE LAND BUT NOOOOO we stupid little humans have to deify or popularize someone, and need something(one) to answer our existential crisis. Anyways, i think religion keeps “going” because beings (us from the far far far past) keep trying to get us to use nature as a TOOL and live “with”. but we just keep wanting to be right about whatever religion is believed in by that side and then willing to fight to death.
I would like to know what people think of the possibility that prominent biblical figures perhaps travelled to space?
Hi, I'm looking for a person (or people) that believes that aliens helped play a role in the creation of the pyramids for a short documentary. If anyone is interested I'd love to get on a zoom and ask a few questions!
Did anyone go to the opening show of the tour in Orlando 10-18-2024 ? I was wondering what they show the audience and talk about, I have tickets to upcoming show and was interested in knowing.
Conspiracies, Aliens/Annunaki, Ancient Civilisation, Atlantic & Lemuria, Ancient Egypt, Antartica, Inner Earth, Under the Ice, Pyramids
I have this need to know! I have my beliefs about our DNA being fiddled with by an ancient civilisation that was wayyyy more advanced than us. I am always trying to look for documentaries about Aliens/Annunaki, Ancient Civilisation, Atlantic & Lemuria, Ancient Egypt, Antartica & what's beyond or underneath & anything Inner Earth. I just find it alllll so fascinating. I unfortunately have chronic health issues so I spend most my time in bed so this is my escapism as some of it is so crazy but I love it. I have a very open mind & love hearing all these stories about people's experiences & any archeology stuff. Please let me know all your recommendations for documentaries, podcasts, audio books, YouTube channels. I can't wait to see what you've got!!!!! Go......
Thanks Firecracker 🧨 xx
Can anyone give me a source where i could read someone elses translations of sumerian besides sitchins, i keep hearing his translations were wrong but i dont know of any other people that translated sumerian texts...also, can anyone say for sure, is his work accurate? Is it really all made up?
when you think about extraordinary ancient alien activity—like the construction of stonehenge—consider this:
if minds advanced enough to travel across the universe created such structures, wouldn’t they also have the ability to predict how humans would one day react to them?
these super advanced minds, capable of building beautiful things that resonate through time, if they did, might have known that future humans would develop an interconnected world, a global internet where theories and conspiracies are talked about so intensely. maybe the structures they left behind weren’t meant to be understood or appreciated by the people of their time at all. maybe their true purpose is to observe how you, in your future world, curiously respond to the mysteries of their existence.
maybe it’s all for you.
Hey everyone! I’m going to the live show tonight in Nola. For those of you that have been before, do they sell merch or anything? I’d love a shirt or mug or something. Thanks!
Hey y’all, I hope you can help me out here. There’s an episode in which a guy, I believe he was American, had figured out how to move heavy stones and such using, maybe, levitation? Does that ring any bells to anyone?
I know that the man had died previous to the airing of the show and they showed some black and white pictures of him next to some large objects that he said he had moved using that technique.
Google is only returning stuff criticizing the show, nothing really about what I’m looking for.
Thank you! I’m going to see Ancient Aliens live tomorrow.
Edit: if you get the chance to go see the live show, definitely go!
After seeing the episode of Ancient aliens that had Erich von Däniken explaining what caused him to write the book Chariots Of The Gods I decided to read the story about Ezekiel wheel for myself. I was not disappointed. And when I read Ezekiel was terrified of what he saw I couldn't help it I had to have one of the many beautiful images put onto a custom made holster for me. I mean no disrespect I just wanted to share this with you all and thank Ancient Aliens for bringing me closer to God and for creating a Tv show about one of my favorite conversations and thats aliens and just about everything they go over on the show. We are not alone we have never been alone and God is good.
Anyone watch this latest episode? It was interesting that they said only 10% of the original stones are there. Where’d the others go ? How have what’s left been moved and toppled over. They weigh in the tons.
Ancient aliens
I love this show for the history and stuff. I believe in other life and dead ass feel like they did come visit us back in the day and helped build the temple structures and things that are so precise you’d need machinery. Like the stuff on Easter island no man did that alone. Those rocks weren’t even found anywhere natively close to that island. Watching this with my family that’s very religious they’re tryna shatter my dreams talking about “humans were smarter the devil came from the sky” like bro I just wanna learn about aliens and culture… idk I’ll never let anyone crush my dreams believing in other life is what gives me some sorta hope and wonder. There’s no way we’re the only living thing in this universe not by a long shot. Now that’s just me but coming from a religious background sometimes is wack af, lemme believe in aliens, our planet is screwed to bejesus and back the heck do I want with just thinking we did this shit cause we didn’t !
