In 1965 my uncle lived in Curpen (Romania) a rural area with no electricity. Late at night he was coming home from his friend's house and as he was about to open the front door, he noticed a ball of light floating above his head. He began screaming and the ball of light sped away. When he put his hand on the door handle, he got an electric shock. He believes he saw a UFO.

I am so grateful for u/PlunderYeDingy's post last night, as I think for the first time, we have true video of the UAP mothership that has been here for decades. If you read up on the Lubbock Lights, the Phoenix Lights, and Kenneth Arnold's 1947 sighting around Mt. Rainier, you'll see striking similarities. Even the astro-photographer who posted earlier in October about it....these all appear to be the same thing.

I live in Denver and have seen this exact object 3 times in the last 2 years:

- October 26, 2002 @ 8:18p, moving N to S
- September 16, 2003 @ 10:28 moving NW to SE
- October 9, 2003 @ 8:36p, moving NE to SW (this one I watched through a night vision scope)

This object was absolutely enormous, and at incredible elevation. It took-up roughly 20-25 degrees of the sky (to get an idea of how big that is...hold your arm out. and make a fist. The height of your fist makes up roughly 10 degrees...so this was as large/larger than two stacked fists at arm's length against the sky). It made absolutely no sound, and the speed was unlike anything I've ever seen. 8 seconds from horizon to horizon. A satellite takes 3-5 minutes to traverse the same distance.

There are some other unique aspects to this that I see other people report:

1. There's a fog or haziness often enveloping this thing. My first sighting, when it went directly overhead of me...was when I saw it best. It was both bluish and pinkish....I couldn't tell if it was the heat of the atmosphere, a cloaking device, plasma....but it was largely on the leading edge of it.
2.  u/PlunderYeDingy made a mention that he was thinking along the lines of 'I wish something cool would show-up' when this appeared. Maybe it's just chance...but on my 2nd sighting that is exactly what happened to me. I have a hot tub and like to spend 30 minutes in it each night looking at the stars. It had been nearly a year since my first sighting of this, and I had been listening to music and thinking about random stuff. Then all of a sudden, that object really strongly popped into my mind. I was in the midst of telling myself 'I wish I could see that thing again', when in the middle of that thought, looking to my West, I saw it appear mid-sky in the NW, and disappear to the SE horizon within 3 or 4 seconds. Literally the moment that thought abruptly came-up in my mind, it appeared. It made the hair stand up on the back of my neck. I thought that was just a saying, but seeing that in such a manner literally gave my body a physical reaction I'd never experienced before.

After my 2nd sighting of this, within a few weeks I saw a post on NextDoor, and one on r/space about people posting about a super-fast, huge, silent V-shaped object flying over them (here's screenshots of both). After all that, I decided to go get a night vision scope in an attempt to see it more clearly and capture it on video. I got a cheap NVG-10 from Amazon....and within 10 minutes of getting this thing out of the box, looking at the night sky, I saw it again. I was focused on 2 satellites passing over when this thing literally cut in front of them, dead-center in my field of view. This was a very small part of the sky I was focused on, I almost felt it did that on purpose. Unfortunately I hadn't yet figured out how to record from it....but after getting that figured out, I thought it would be a matter of days, maybe a couple of weeks, before I'd have it on tape. After all, I had seen it 2 times in 3 weeks.

Well, I have over 250 hours of recording since then, and I have yet to see it again. I almost felt like it knew I wasn't recording, and it wanted to show itself, and now that I am, it's not doing so. That sighting was SO vivid and clear, seeing it through night vision. There were a total of 7 orbs...but interestingly, they weren't even. There were 4 orbs on the left, the center orb, and then 2 orbs on the right side.

I've managed to capture a few fast moving orbs, and 2 videos of the triangle/TR-3B over the last year, but this is the ONE thing I am trying to capture on video. Once you see it, your life changes pretty abruptly. You know you just saw something that shouldn't exist, that you shouldn't have seen. It almost felt like it pulled the veil back on reality, Wizard of Oz style. I know now, with 100% certainty, that there is more to this universe and reality that we know, and something is here but in a way that very few of us will witness.

This is the craft that has been seen at some of the most important UFO/UAP sightings in history. I believe this is the mothership. The size of this thing, I believe, is a mile or larger in size. I am so happy and grateful that this user spotted it and captured a video....as this shoots down all the Starlink, geese, plane hogwash that after seeing it with your own eyes, you know there's a 0% chance that could be. Now that the word is getting out about THIS particular UFO, and MANY people are sharing this is the thing they have seen, I hope this can hit some sort of critical tipping point. This is the object we should all be looking for, hoping to capture. For some reason, this just feels to me all other UFO's/UAP's somehow leads back to this thing.

Thanks for hearing me out on my sightings of this object. Again, thank you to  for posting this video. Hopefully we can get more video of this going forward. At a minimum, I think more people know what to look for now.

Assuming Disclosure happens, how are we to determine what is reliable and credible information? How will we know that we are dealing with something that is benevolent or malevolent? I envision pure chaos with the media losing their shit to try dominate the headlines, stir panic, and blame the government in power. The government will be trying to helplessly control the narrative and fail to mitigate absolute chaos. Panic buying will ensue, money will be withdrawn en masse from banks, investments will tank, and a culture of fear and self preservation will be pervasive. I fail to see how a calm and orderly process will materialize. Am I wrong?

TL;DR This post is not defending Elizondo. I feel like there's been a bit of an "overcorrection" after the recent controversy. All of Lou's claims should be met with more suspicion than ever, but there seems to be comment sections full of disgust and ridicule for anyone who ever believed a thing Elizondo said. Chill.

LOOK, MAN, I GET IT.

It sucks to be right too early. History is written by those punished for being correct too soon. Galileo. The guy that invented germ theory. MLK and civil rights protestors. You get it. All of those people where right a bit too early for everyone else's tastes, and they were punished for it. At best, the majority shouted them down and said they were annoying. At worst, they were killed.

Unfortunately, this pattern repeats itself time and time again, and it will repeat until the end of human existence. I'm sorry the folks that said Lou was full of shit got the short end of the stick this time, but welcome to the Being Right Too Soon Club. It's quite exclusive. Enjoy some "I told you so's," but there's a certain excessive level of outright disgust and hostility to people who believed him before this most recent controversy that may very well have changed their minds at this point.

ON CREDULITY AND THE TRUSTWORTHINESS OF SOURCES

I first got interested in this topic after the NYT article in 2017. Well, I was interested as a child, but dismissed it all in my teenage years. Anyway, for quite some time, the UFO topic was sort of a "monthly check-in" thing for me. There didn't seem to be much concrete evidence/info forthcoming. Not quickly, at least. Still, though, the topic fascinated me, and nagged at me, and it eventually became clear to me that, if I wanted to learn anything more about this topic than "there's fast flying spheres and shit, and no one knows what they are," I'd have to enter the realm of speculation and open my mind a bit.

Stuff about other dimensions, experiencers, etc. followed from there, but that's not important. The point is, I had to start looking into a lot of folks that had plenty of strikes against them, in terms of credibility. Heck, it turned my stomach a bit just to consider Lou's ideas, seeing as he's a blind patriot who used to run freaking Gitmo, and his claims aren't even that "out there" (alien invasion fear-mongering aside). It seems like every major source of UFO/UAP info (at least beyond "flying shit, we don't know what it is") has believers, detractors, and folks in the middle. Dig into them the slightest bit, and you can find some reason to dismiss them. They've all got to be taken with a lump of salt, but their claims still need to be considered to get anywhere further (of course, there do exist folks who just completely make up completely baseless claims; not denying that).

If you're only interested in hard, concrete evidence, and satisfied only believing in "fast flying shit that nobody knows what it is" until you see alien bodies and crafts, that's fine, but some of us like to open ourselves up to the possibilities, and indulge a little.

THE PHENOMENON IS A BEAUTIFUL, WONDERFUL MYSTERY

I'm a lurker. I hate posting. Makes me all vulnerable and shit. I'll be real, the comment that made me decide to write up this post was in one of those threads where it felt like everyone wanted to strangle Lou and anyone who had ever believed him to death. It barely had any upvotes, but it did. Something along the lines of "anyone who defends him is an idiot, and only believes him because this topic is the only bright spot in their sad, pathetic lives."

You're right, dear poster. This topic is one of the few bright spots in my incredibly mundane life. Have you turned on the news? Checked the weather? Looked out the window? The world of social consensus sucks, but it's finally becoming clear that there's much more to the world than that.

The world is not just taxes, nine-to-fives, lying politicians, climate change, and assholes in the grocery store. There is some great, unfathomable depth and mystery to our existence that a large group of us are finally, barely beginning to see, let alone grasp.

I choose to embrace that mystery. If that means that sometimes I'm wrong, and I have to change my beliefs when new information is presented, then that's fine. Turns out Lou is not really credible. I won't be singing his praises to the folks in my life anymore.

Let's get to the bottom of this mystery, by allowing people to change their minds when presented with new information, instead of slapping them and calling them credulous idiots.

Hope this doesn't violate Rule 13. I'm sick of the Lou posts myself, and the irony of contributing to them isn't lost on me. I hope you all have a great day, and I look forward to the hearing, and all of the wonderful, interesting posts I'll see after I return to lurking.

P.S. If anyone does know of any sources with information beyond "there's fast, flying shit, and no one knows what it is" that they believe are 100% credible, and have never done anything sus, I would genuinely love to learn more about those sources.

Here's why i've never trusted Elizondo and you shouldn't either. This isn't about "grifting", i don't care that he's selling a book, that's pretty much the least of the bad things he's done. Just the nature of his claims and actions is enough to destroy any of his "credibility".

1. Elizondo has always GREATLY exaggerated his importance for disclosure:

Elizondo NEVER contributed to disclosure legislation, Elizondo NEVER testified under oath to congress or under any other form of accountability and scrutiny, Elizondo NEVER collaborated with some of the most credible independent UAP researchers like Beatriz Villarroel or Jacque Vallee, only with low quality ones that spread hoaxes nonstop like Linda Moulton Howe and Corbell.

All he has done for years is profit off of huge unfalsifiable claims, while convincing people that he's the "main character" of disclosure...

2. Character assassination of people who criticize/dislike Elizondo

Let's be honest, the constant accusations of "disinfo agent" or "Eglin bot" (as i'm sure i will receive) towards those against Elizondo are grating and reflective of dogmatic zealotous belief and not of genuine argumentation.

Even Greenewald, who unlike Elizondo has actually contributed immensely to disclosure with his torrent of FOIA requests AND does not hide any information under the "i can't tell you" vagueness and "somber", "imminent" vague remarks... gets attacked for criticizing Elizondo in 100% fair and fact based ways. To see people accuse Greenewald of being a disinfo agent over nothing but his distaste for Elizondo is just ungrateful, cultish and sad.

3. Elizondo contributes to the stigma

Let's be real - When dismissive people attack the sanity and/or intelligence of people interested in UFOs/UAP, saying that everyone who is interested in them is an idiot falling for grifters selling their books and UFOtainment. Whose fault do you think that is? That's largely Elizondo's fault, because he ran the rounds in media tours, nonstop praise and welcomeness from news shows he went on and allowed to shill his book. So now the stigma of "idiots giving grifters money" is even stronger because of him. Also, didn't Grusch get basically blacklisted off of mainstream media as opposed to Elizondo who is allowed eveywhere? Seems suspicious if you ask me.

4. The threat narrative/"2027" apocalyptic fearmongering

What even is this nonsense? Lue keeps saying the world will end or suffer some "somber" "imminent" fate in "2027", and other vague spooky BS to try and scare people. What is the point of this narrative? Why does Lue want people to think the apocalypse is imminent? It's either some doomsday cult type thing or disinfo to try and drive people nuts, it just doesn't make sense and is baseless and disgusting.

5. Lue claiming to be capable of remote viewing

But nonetheless the fact that Lue claims to be able to do remote viewing, but won't give a single demonstration, demonstrates that even if more credible people like Ingo Swann and McMoneagle may have genuinely done it or still be doing it, Lue is 100% full of shit when it comes to this topic too, it would be easy for him to give a demonstration at ANY time.

And if you think remote viewing might possibly be real you should be extra pissed at Lue for appropriating this topic for his own attention seeking when he has provided 0 evidence he can even do it. Making it look like some complete BS topic that he made up.

6. The chandelier "mothership"

This is just embarrassing, i shouldn't even have to explain why.

Even if you believe Lue's conspiracy that someone fed him this disinfo to discredit him, it still means he's highly incompetent at best to have believed it so badly that he used it as an example of a "mothership" - Greenewald did a single reverse google search and found it was prosaic, many people without training or expertise immediately sniffed out the image as prosaic, Lue just has no excuse.

Lue "owning up to it" means nothing, pure damage control, because if he didn't "own up to it" he would have just gotten exposed even harder.

7. Cahill plane "UFO"

Yet another earlier incident of Lue having a ridiculous lack of due diligence before pushing footage as a "real UFO", even compared to people who should have far less expertise than him

2027, the United States is on the brink, a country under high stress, tension, and divide. Influence from Russia, china, Iran, playing on both sides of the political spectrum for years to radicalize the two sides against the US government and each other. The Cold War never ended for Russia, so they’re tearing us apart from the inside out. This is their war. A war of misinformation and indoctrination.

What major event could finally flip the switch? From the general “lore” of the UFO phenomenon and big heads doing the talking, China and Russia both have an awareness and even reverse engineering programs much like the US does. For decades people have been outspoken about mistrust in the US government keeping secrets, and now we’re well aware the secret has caused the death of many Americans, robbed taxpayers of billions of dollars towards black programs, and created a private entity capable of breaking law, dodging the magnifier, and hiding the legacy of crime. So what if a country like china breaks disclosure towards the world? Surely, minds will change towards the phenomenon throughout the world. Probably in small ways, but the world would have this awareness that we are not alone on this planet.

But what if they did it in a way that created a narrative against the United States? This could be why the people who are pushing the movement now are doing it in a controlled manner. Not because of societal collapse, because no one seems to care! It doesn’t affect their everyday life. But to do it slowly and controlled to control the narrative. Hello, counter intelligence.

China and Russia have accessed several secret sectors of our government, what if they broke the news of disclosure with:

“The US has been keeping tech and reverse engineering it with billions of dollars in tax money unaccounted for, has killed American citizens, destroyed careers and lives of families, has entered foreign countries to retrieve tech, has denied the existence of world changing tech, created psyops against the American people to brainwash and dilute the truth, and has attempted to keep the world in the dark.”

These countries have agendas. From rebuilding former alliances and reclaiming/claiming land. Infrastructure development to influence regions, and trading arms to distract top players in proxy wars for further personal gains. If this much destruction and war put these countries at risk of revealing their cards, they likely wouldn’t pursue it.

If they knew that there would be consequences to their actions by a higher intelligence, this wouldn’t be happening. But they don’t. Same with the United States. War itself does not seem to warrant a reaction from NHI. So far, considering multiple countries supposedly have tech, it doesn’t seem to matter which country is top dog. Just who has the means to get it. Human morals, human politics, and human culture will not dictate NHI interference. We would not have come this far.

So geopolitics will roll on, the world will keep spinning, and the world’s main global and democratic superpower seems to become ever more fragile. Major countries battling for world dominance with one country, the US, in the way and determining which player in the west can make which move.

What could push them over the edge? Disclosure. Push them over the edge. That could be the threat to national security. Not NHI, but the secrets. And the narrative that can be built around it.

Like the title says, I got incredibly blessed and got invited to go to the SOL conference this month, and I'll be able to network with some amazing people about my CE5 project.

Hey guys sorry first time posting on here, not sure if this is allowed or not!

They give a good analysis on what’s going on!

We don't see any reflections of the person filming it and no voices are heard so nobody can be identified. But somehow the Alien was already looking up at the observation window as if it knew someone was coming.

It appears to be legitimate due to the setup and the astronomical cost that it would take to film such footage based on props alone. The person filming the video is keeping themselves anonymous and silent throughout the entire recording. They do not want to be reflected in the round observation window as well which is located on the top portion of the atmospheric chamber. Someone out there might be able to find out the make and model of the atmospheric chamber but if you can't that's probably because it's a one-off creation created in-house for the Extraterrestrial entity(s).

On the back wall of the bunker chamber, we see an air conditioning system with a bed backrest immediately behind the entity. It's also got what looks like a pillow just in front of the bed backrest.

If you noticed there's a very bright LED light aimed at the observation window, that's a deliberate attempt to stop anyone Inside from looking out and seeing who is there! Because it's a dark room this would be very effective for blocking anyone looking out.

There seem to be 3 doors under the observation window. One is a large hinge to the left and vertical to allow the whole door to open and close. Then directly underneath the observation window horizontally there are 2 hinges about 2 and a half feet apart. These look like they're intended for the passing of items such as food or other items between the entity inside and outside "humans."

The possible reason why there are 2 portholes underneath the observation windows might be because the chamber inside can be divided into 2 rooms. Hence the multiple round observation windows and portholes.

The doubling up of the windows and portholes would suggest that otherwise, they're needless to requirements. Everything is designed for a purpose don't forget.

The footage shows a bed inside of the atmospheric chamber, along with what looks like an air conditioning system on the far back wall. The loud air conditioning system can be heard throughout the footage, indicating that the chamber is fully operational and circulating what I assume is air inside the chamber. Additionally, red lights indicate that the chamber is in day mode. Yes, even the Alien would (must) need to sleep.

The reason why it's filmed like this is so the entity doesn't see who's filming which suggests that communication is happening between the entity and its human captors and the person who is filming this knows that and doesn't want to be identified. Possibly?

I keep seeing posts and popular talking heads talking about the hearing as if it's the start of disclosure or something on that level. After the last hearing, my confidence in the US political system doing anything about the phenomenon has dwindled completely, but I feel like I might be missing something about this hearing due to the hype!

Why is this one particularly special? Will we get confirmation on NHI, or will this simply be about vehicles? I can appreciate that this topic is getting broader attention and is being taken seriously, but I just don't see it being that massive for us, the people who seem to hear a lot more than the politicians. I'm very tired of being hyped up just to be let down, and every year there's always another book to buy, another sponsored podcast to listen to, and another YouTube video to give revenue to. I hope we get the answers too and we're not just being sucked dry.

Alright, I’ll just cut to the chase, in around 2020-2021 in grand forks, North Dakota, I saw what this sub would say was a tic tac ufo, it flew maybe 300 or 400 feet above me, so it couldn’t have been any sort of blimp. It was flying over an apartment building. I was directly under it and I remember it was white, perfectly resembling a mint tic tac, it flew so quietly no one else appeared to notice.

Since we're all heading into a politics-themed week here (& a gap in UAP news), I thought y'all might be interested in this stab at ascertaining the politics of a nascent 'The Program'. Whether or not the control group was formally called 'MJ-12', (and whether or not MJ stood — formally or by whistleblower / disinfo artist's inference — for 'May-Johnson'), after a year of research I've found it inescapable that:

Given the priors of

1. existence of UAP in general and
2. the existence of a program for reverse engineering them,

• then Vannevar Bush was, (given priors), without doubt, read-in to a reverse-engineering program, and *most likely* had *some* executive scope in it.

So understanding the Vannevar's politics becomes integral to understanding the organizing & governance paradigm of a Program that he would have had enormous scope in shaping. This piece paints that up.

Upon reading it (and benefiting from the four excellent pages in his one-and-only biography by G Pascal Zachary that the linked article can only cover a small excerpt of), we are left with some uncomfortable questions to consider, especially in light of the upcoming election: How much power should we place in the hands of technical experts 'who know best'? How much accountability? When we give experts executive power, should they have term limits (and how long)? Should they be elected, politically appointed, or hired/promoted through the technical bureaucracy? This gets into highly politically-charged topics like 'deep state'. Sidestepping the emotion but focusing on technicals: how much independence do you feel that technical bureaucracies like the DoE, DARPA, NSF etc. should have? Especially if you don't know whether your preferred candidate will be in the Oval Office any given election cycle?

PS One thing you might benefit from reading: Prior to this work, I was left in a more uncertain, more fearful place by not knowing what kind of amorphous blob might have been behind The Program over the decades. Following my work in examining the origins & politics of The [Legacy] Program through the prior May-Johnson posts and this one, I've felt a much stronger sense of agency & empowerment from being able to 'see' my adversary. After reading this and prior articles, I hope you're able to arrive at the same empowered feeling.

Please understand this is coming from a Lue supporter. I bought and read the book and I view him as one of the more honest talking heads in the UFO sphere. But what’s recently happened with the mothership picture is hard to justify.

Specifically for me it’s hard to justify, because as soon as I saw this picture when it started circulating, every red flag in me went up and I immediately thought “that looks more like an edited ceiling light than a UFO”. 2 days later and its revealed that its exactly that. This post is not to hate on Lue and i’m not asking for arguments in the comment- more so, I am impressed at how many people are justifying this and backing him after, what I would consider, a pretty major mistake. Even though he came out and apologized, i simply cannot let that slide as much as a lot of you are expecting me to. Lue is supposed to have the most knowledge on this topic when it comes to public-facing figures, and I do think what happened is a major blow to his credibility. I understand that the picture came from a trusted source in Lue’s book, and that he might’ve been swayed by that, but come on guys- look at that picture, it’s not even that well edited! The top of the “mothership” is clEARLY light from the bulb hitting the ceiling- I noticed that immediately, and I do question how Lue, with the most knowledge on this topic, didn’t catch that. I have to hold him to the fire, especially when it comes to this topic (which is filled with misinformation at every corner) and unfortunately this definitely makes me lose credibility in him, and I am surprised at how easy it is for a lot of this community to let that pretty major mistake just slide by. I’m not a Lue hater by any means, and I will keep paying attention to him, but I am absolutely going to be a LOT more critical on him from now on, and I think we all should- it’s the only way to true, honest disclosure. Hold your public facing figures to the fire, lets not be fooled.

the psychosocial take is the mainstream scientific position and the debunker position. everytime a debunker argues that a pic is Starlink or that an experiencer is delusional they are arguing for the psychosocial take. since most of the pics and vids around here end up debunked, it can seem like a powerful take. that makes it a tempting source of instant gratification.

the extraterrestrial take is the default take of the believer, of Hollywood blockbusters, and of comic books. together the psychosocial and extraterrestrial takes make up the majority of this sub. they each see the other as untenable, and to that extent they are each right.

but they can both be eliminated, and then as the old adage goes what remains must be the truth. the psychosocial take can be eliminated by physical traces of the phenomenon. the extraterrestrial take can be eliminated by the 'high strangeness' of the phenomenon. but the parapsychological take can account for both of those. it has the most explanatory power and parsimony.

but the psychosocial take has a response to that. extraterrestrials can be folded into the mainstream, after all there's nothing anomalous about ET. it's just another form of life and so the status quo lives to fight another day. and the extraterrestrial take also has a response: the 'high strangeness' is reducible to advanced psionic tech. because as Clarke said tech can seem like magic. and the nuts n' bolts take lives to fight another day.

those takes do have a point but as always the devil is in the details. neither one of those takes has given parapsychology due diligence. they each rely on distance from the nitty gritty of the actual literature. willful ignorance. so, they can't get in front of what woo means for science and technology. they can't get in front of the materialism that forms the foundation of their takes.

that's why conversations on this sub can sometimes veer into philosophical territory. the ontological shock is what comes when the rug of materialism is pulled out from under mainstream science. the weakness of scientific epistemology is confronted by the consciousness of woo. and the response of the mainstream to that is 'where is the proof', which completely misses the point because mainstream science doesn't yet have the epistemology for the parapsychological take. it would take a scientific revolution to fix that.
