Casper or Gillette

We are looking at moving to Gillette, however we aren’t opposed to looking into Casper. Is it worth it? We are in our 30’s with a young family.

Vertigo in the middle of nowhere

My buddy just went up to Wyoming and he said he drove about a hour away from the nearest town looking at property in the middle of nowhere Wyoming. He said it was hunting grounds but it was so flat that him and the guys that he was with starting getting sick like they had sea sickness or vertigo. They stayed for a couple days to see but couldn’t get over it. Is this a normal phenomenon when you are in the the middle of BFE and it is perfectly flat?

Hi all.

Is right now a good time to visit yellow stone/ grand teton? Never been out that way before. Will be flying to Boise next week, and was planning on making the trip to yellow stone and grand teton but wasn’t sure if right now is a good time. Any input is appreciated.

Looking for all blockbusters in Wyoming, missing 1

I’m part of a group of people looking for all blockbuster locations. 2004 financial reports say that 10 were open in Wyoming, we’ve found 9. Those locations are

2135 E 12th St, Casper

3035 CY Ave, Casper

102 Cole Shopping Center, Cheyenne

136 Yellow Creek Road, Evanston

220 Uinta Dr, Green River

3322 Grand Ave, Laramie

1016 W Spruce St, Rawlins

920 North Federal Boulevard, Riverton

1254 Dewar Dr, Rock Springs

If you have any locations comment them

Hi Everyone! I made documentaries on the history of radio. One of my favorite shows is a little-known 1956 western called Fort Laramie, set in the 1870s at the Fort and starring Raymond Burr the year before he was cast as Perry Mason

DEA moving cannabis to schedule 3 - will this help move things forward in Wyoming?

This is big new for the country - the Federal government is recognizing cannabis has medical value and allowing it to be researched more openly.

Whitetail Deer

I know Wyoming is not a destination for whitetail, but I was curious to know if anybody traveling around Hyatville, Ten Sleep area have noticed a decline in whitetail like the mule deer?

Cloud Peak conditions early summer 2024

My husband and I are going to a wedding the week of June 15 - 23 and want to fit in some other adventures along our road trip route.

We have been to the Bighorns 3 times, and attempted to hike Cloud Peak once but it snowed overnight when we were camping at base camp at Misty Moon Lake, so we had to turn back and hike out early without getting up to Cloud Peak. (That was in early September).

I know the best times to hike Cloud Peak are July/August because the snow has completely melted. I am curious if this summer will be different, since everywhere experienced a pretty mild winter and there may not be as much snow. Curious if locals/others know if Cloud Peak may be navigable in mid June because of this.

Any insight is helpful! Thanks for your help!
