From JHMR:
The Solitude Station Access Pass
Greetings,
The temps are dropping, and the snow is flying… And we’ve got a new product that gets you first tracks all season long. We couldn’t be more excited to introduce the brand new Solitude Station Access Pass.
Benefits:
Early access to a lounge and gear storage via a dedicated access gate at the base of the Sweetwater Gondola starting at 7:45 AM to access your gear, enjoy a continental breakfast, and hang out in a warm, comfortable environment
First tracks… All Solitude Station Access Passholders will have access to the Sweetwater Gondola through a dedicated access gate at the mid-station (just outside the lounge) that will allow you to head up to Casper restaurant before the mountain opens. Once Ski Patrol opens the mountain, the rope will drop, and you’ll have early access to the Casper and Teton chairs. If you’ve ever skied any part of this mountain early, you know just how special this is.
Season-long ski, boot, and gear storage in the new Solitude Station Access Pass lounge
Lunch reservations at the new Trapper’s restaurant. The restaurant at Solitude Station, now Trapper’s, is undergoing some major improvements we think you’ll love. More details coming your way soon!
Two complimentary guest passes per season to bring friends or family up to the lounge with you
The continental breakfast: coffee, tea, juice, pastries, bagels, yogurt, granola, etc. available in the lounge
A lounge concierge will bring you your skis, make your Trapper’s lunch reservations, or schedule you a ski or board tune at a JHMR shop.
The lounge remains staffed with a concierge all day, so you can swing in any time to warm up or throw on your slippers before walking over to Trapper’s for lunch.
At the end of the day you can leave your gear, the concierge will store your skis, put your boots on a dryer, and you can download on the Sweetwater Gondola until 5 PM.
In this inaugural year of this pass and its early mountain access, JHMR is selling a limited number of passes… They’ll go quickly. Pricing is as follows:
Single Pass: $10,000
Couple’s (2 people) Pass: $15,000
Family Pass (up to four people): $20,000
Family members additional to four: $2,500 per person
As noted above, we believe these passes will go fast. To learn more and lock in your passes, please call our dedicated Solitude Station Access Pass line:

Our team can answer any questions you might have, provide more detail than we can in an email, and take payment.

Hi! I’m from Aus and planning on visiting next year in July. I was hoping to get tickets to the rodeo 4th of July weekend. I can’t find any info online about when they go on sale. I know I’m a little early. If anyone has any info that would be great. Thanks!
Any places folks can recommend in the realm of healthcare that might be looking for volunteers? Thanks!
Hi! we are family of 6 (4 kids ages 6-11) and planing a one week trip to Jackson Hole first week of January. This is our first family trip to a cold place . Need help deciding what clothing to get and things to do. I know layering is important but are there brands that are better then others? The coldest weather we have been to in last 10 years is about 40 degrees so I know this will be much colder.
Also what activities can we do as family? I really wanted to do snowmobile tour but we have 4 kids - would that be even possible ? Like if we paid for guides- could two of the kids ride with guides ? Or could we fit 2 kids and one adult on one snowmobile?
Is there a place we could go teach kids how to ski without playing lift fee? Like a safe hill somewhere ? This is what I used to do when I was a kid growing up in Europe lol.
We are planning on staying in Wilson, WY and renting a car - is drive between Jackson Hole and Wilson ok or do we need to plan on getting chains?
My husband also wants to take a trip down to Star Valley Ranch. Is the road drivable from Jackson at this time of the year?
Thanks in advance for any advice !
Planning a snowboarding trip to JHMR December 6-8 and allotting about a half a day for some kind of excursion around Grand Teton.
Looking for recommendations on fun or scenic stuff to do in or around the National Park that can be done in a half a day outside of shredding (preferably in the evening because I really want to take part in the morning Jean Ski event at JHMR and plan to board full days on Friday and Sunday.
It’s worth noting we are getting into the Jackson airport around Thursday 1:30pm so maybe we could fit something in that time slot before boarding on Friday morning?
Any and all recommendations are appreciated!
Hi all, we have a company retreat, a group of 11 coming to town next week. We are staying at the Wyoming Inn (was trying to decide between that and the Lodge). Is there anything to do Monday or Tuesday night?
We have dinner reservations already at Whistling Grizzly and the Rusty Parrot. I know a lot is closed during the off season, so any ideas for after dinner are much appreciated!
I visited ~10 years ago and have a clear memory of eating at a restaurant that only had a few things on the entire menu. I recall some sort of steak, a blue cheese wedge salad, and a bread pudding. Sort of a dark rustic vibe. Did I hallucinate this restaurant? I've tried to find it online but am coming up empty-handed.
Any sports bars or locations for an election watch party in Jackson, Driggs, Victor?
Was just in Jackson and planning another trip for ski season but wasn't blown away by an of the restaurants or bars that we hit. Any suggestions for next time?
I work for a restaurant in town and am not traveling during off season. I don’t think I’m eligible yet for job attached unemployment and am hoping to find some work while we are closed to bridge the financial gap a bit.
Any ideas on places that may be open to temporary work during this time or year?
I've heard from an airport employee that TSA is offering a 30K sign up bonus. Yes 30,000.
Has anyone else heard of this?
Hi all! Spouse and I are hoping to visit Jackson Hole (have never been to Wyoming) during the week of Dec 16-20 by flying into JAC. I’m not sure how bad the ice and snow gets on the road during that time so it makes me a little nervous to rent a vehicle as we do not have much experience driving in bad winter conditions. Is it possible to solely rely on guided tours, and public transport to explore the town and parks? What is the weather like mid-December? Would also appreciate any recommendations of things to do!
Hi y’all,
The apartment I live in with my significant other only has one parking spot available but we have two cars. We live down the road of the town square. Are there any available places for over-night parking spots free or for rent during the winter?
Any advice is appreciated, thanks!
Hello!
Has anyone ever gone dog sledding at six heart ranch just outside the park? Specifically from the link below. If so, would love to hear your thoughts. :)
I’ve had spectrum pretty much since I’ve been 18 and living on my own and I’m moving on the 1st and just wondering if that’s as good as it gets for us?
Does anyone have a provider that isn’t an expensive let down?
Does anyone know where 399 lost her life? Used to live in Alpine and made that commute every day. Just curious which area.
A group of us will be visiting JacksonHole in January for a 30th birthday. What are some fun things or surprise celebrations we can look into for the birthday twins? Thanks!
Hey all, I’m 23m I’ve been here a few months and still trying to make friends, just wondering if there’s any type of regular meet ups or social events to meet people at? Was going to go on some runs with Teton Trail Runners but just saw that it’s over for the season.
Been working and exploring a lot all summer but now that it’s shoulder season I’m trying to relax and make more freinds. If anyone’s in the same boat send me a dm lol
What hotels in Jackson Hole have bar/restaurant in them?
Any you recommend?
Hello all, I (22M) took a job working lift ops at Jackson hole this winter and am looking for any leads on affordable housing from November - April. Any leads or info is greatly appreciated. Driving out from NY so very very new to the area, have worked seasonal jobs the last few years up and down the east so coast so am very used to living in random temporary housing with a lot of roommates. Again, any information at all is extremely helpful. Thank you !
Seasonal worker here, I recently accepted a job in town for the winter season (Nov-Apr) and was wondering how easy it is to get around without a car. My housing is on the southwest side of town and is within walking distance of grocery stores and some quick food spots. From what I've been told and read, the bus system that goes up to JHMR is pretty reliable and consistent, there also seems to be a bus that goes into town if I need to do that. I've also heard long term parking there is a pain. I'm coming from the east coast more or less so it would be a very long drive, prices are pretty comparable between flying and driving. The only reason I'm considering driving is if there's other things to do or cool places to check out in the winter time. Is living in Jackson Hole for a season doable without a car and is there any reason I might need one.
