All things related to The Witcher - books, games, TV... You name it.
The Witcher is a critically acclaimed fantasy book series created by Andrzej Sapkowski. The series follows Geralt of Rivia, a monster hunter in a universe where people often prove more wicked than beasts. Though originally written in Polish, the franchise gathered a large international following from likewise acclaimed game adaptions by CD Projekt. The books now translated into a dozen languages have also been adapted for TV.

I have a problem with the game in PC when using a Xbox 360 controller, it doesn't let me using the quick menu, the controller works fine but when I try to use the quick menu it doesn't do anything, I tried to change the key's to see if it was the Lt button that it doesn't work and it still not working with any other. Please help me

May your photos be as sharp as Geralt's silver sword.
Only just realised this was a cheeky nod to accidentally extinguishing candles whenever you try to interact with something (Yoanna I’m looking at that damn candle in front of you) 😂
As title states, I've played through the Witcher 3 about 8 times with 6 being new game plus, I have the itch to play again but unsure if I should do New Game plus or go for a whole fresh start.
I know NG+ is probably the better option obviously with the things that carry over but I don't like having to grind up to massive levels for certain armour unlocks as if I done NG+ I would be thinking of discarding all armours and starting new but I like having the powerful Potions and Oils, some advise would be helpful
For some reason the mines on this mission are flooded with water and i even managed to talk with the npc inside and lower the bridge but combat is impossible.
I just bought the Witcher 3 and am so excited. Are there any pieces of advice for a first time player so I can enjoy my journey in the best way possible
I've just finished The Last Wish and absolutely enjoyed it. I already have blood of elves in my possession but I am not sure if to buy Season of storms and Sword of Destiny first to read in chornological order or start the main saga before finishing the short stories before.
I was just chilling and poured myself a glass of Shiraz wine (شراب شیراز) and i decided to ride across Toussaint and when I saw the wine the ground i felt proud tbh since we don't get many nice references in video games about Iran.
Guys, someone has already started reading Sapkowski's new book? Can you tell me a little about it, but without spoilers. I heard that he might connect the game universe with the book one.
Hey everyone, first-time poster here!
I've just finished playing through The Witcher 3 (for like the sixth time), and now I'm stuck in Witcher hype, and I'm desperate to learn more about Witcher 4/Polaris. I know it's gonna be a while away, but I'm hoping at least 2026...I'm just wondering if you all have your own theories of when it may be released.
I had two tough boss fights.. very frustrating
Hey guys! I'm new to playing Witcher. I've got Witcher 3 Wild Hunt(with both dlcs), I'm a few weeks into it, and have some questions. I'm currently level 18, still in the Velen/Novigraad area. What's the best armor I can get at my current level? I'm guessing it's going to be something crafted instead of something I find? What type of armor do you guys prefer? Light, medium, or heavy? What are the pros and cons to each? Yes yes, I know there's plenty of info out there if I Google it, but I want first hand experience info. As for weapons, I'm assuming the best ones will be something crafted as well? At what point should I move on to the next area?
*Also, and this may be an unpopular opinion, but I'm pretty sure Roach is retarded*
Absolutely worth the xp grind to level 61 before starting ng+
I am on my first play through of the wild hunt ( + DLC) I selected simulate Witcher two save when I started the game. Now I’m being interrogated about what happens in which or two and I have no idea how to answer to have the best results. Help!
Hi, I was wondering if there is a mod that changes the way the control over your character feels? I really like the way elden ring feels, so is there a witcher mod that does that? Also what is the correct terminology for what i am trying to say? Is it just character control?
Thanks,
