I just finished watching the show (I’ve never played the games or read the books, it just looked interesting on Netflix lol), and I can’t wrap my head around Francesca the Elven queen. She was such a head strong resilient leader but at the same time I feel like she was easily swayed? Whoever came to her with a new plan or new orders I felt like she just took it after little thought. I thought maybe it was desperation for finding her people a home and going through constant struggles and fighting but I’m still not sure how good of a leader she was. I apologize if I got anything wrong I’m still processing everything that’s happened in season 3😭
thoughts / critiques welcome! made on procreate for ipad using brushes from samdoesarts :)
Hi, i have a simple question… Is Gerald of Riva shaving his intimate area
Just read the unfortunate news, wondering if there's a reason given for such a thing? Hopefully ensuring visual quality and source fidelity, but we'll see
Ok. So I recently got back into watching. I saw something odd in this episode... At about 14 min 20sec Ciri's grandmother has a funky eye movement. Just a second after Ciri says "yes, I'm sorry I'm late" I'm watching on Netflix so it's not a pirated copy. Has anyone else noticed this. It's my first time in this sub also
S2E7 Geralt was with Yen at DM's hut. He was about to attack DM and try to kill her. Coincidentally (?) that is exactly when Emhyr's assassin kills Francesca's baby, causing massive pain, giving DM a huge shot of power, just when she needed it. Her spirit had enough power to immediately break out of the hut to go find Ciri. DM obviously was very powerful and probably had the power of foresight. But, I think DM must have had some sort of psychic connection to Emhyr to get him to release the assassin at just the right time.
I paused the show at the right time and noticed the buttons on Mousesack's clothes. Please tell me I'm not the only one who sees the buttons are small D20s.
There was a "Coming Soon" label/tag on Netflix for a couple weeks, which was removed last week or the week before. Nothing seems to have been added since, and it's going to be a while for season 4 afaik.
Why was it there and why is it gone?
i’m about to finish season 1. everywhere i look i see people saying season 2 is dog shit, but season 2 has a very high critical rating on Rotten Tomatoes.
can someone give me a real quick general consensus on how enjoyable the seasons are.
obvs i’ll watch them and make my own mind up as well.
Actually asking. I’m not a purist so I didn’t mind leaving the books and games behind narratively but there is something just off about the third season. Is it the writing? Is it the bizarre choice to split the narrative so many ways that we get 5 minutes of 6 groups of people over and over? I know Henry left but where there other back room changes irl that made the show suffer? All thoughts are welcome, genuinely curious, not trying to hate on the show.
She was super nice and seemed to really appreciate everyone that spoke to her!
