I believe this weapon belongs to one of the motu characters because it came with a castle grey skull that I purchased at auction. eBay and Google search failed me. Can anyone help. Thanks
Hello!
My apologies, if this was asked previously, I searched for previous posts but couldn't find any.
Does anyone know if there were any leaked or rumored action figures that were canceled or unreleased?
I always wanted a Moss Man figure and Mer-Man's giant fish from the three part episode Pilot "The Beginning". I keep hoping that one day some company will make one.
Thanks so much!
This is a massive long shot, as I doubt any of us have seen more than random episodes in the past 30+ years, so I'm relying on my ageing memory🤣
I remember the episode (Rainbow Warrior) where the queen as good as tells Adam she's aware Adam is He-Man.
But I'd swear there's also an episode after Rainbow Warrior, where she's telling Adam (in front of Randor and co) to find He-Man in a manner of knowing a shared secret. Is that just my memory playing tricks on me? Or did that happen?
Please help😭
Found 8 vintage MOTU guys for my collection, plus a bonus TMNT character. $36 for all, so $4/ea :). I couldn't grab them fast enough! Some complete, most missing stuff... all are bowlegged.
Mer-Man King Hiss (no disguise) Moss Man Webstor (need those cool spider legs for his back!) Spikor Zodac Sy-Klone (need his radar) Ram Man
In the original cartoon, we saw more than once that Skeletor had the capability to see and hear what was going on in the palace.
How did he never once catch a view of Adam attempting to transform?
I say attemp, because my memory tells me, the time he tried to transform in front of Teela, the magic didn't work.
Any ideas? Anyone else ever wonder? 🤣🤣🤣
This was a commission done for a fellow MOTU fan. Let me know your thoughts.
This is just something I wanted to talk about, since I haven't really seen it happen for others in this variety.
Okay, so I'm a fan of a lot of "cute kind of weird" characters. And I'm a huge fan of the "shadowed face, glowing eyes" design trope. I'm also a late fan to MotU's entry. 200X was my first series I watched, but it was around SPOP's start that I started watching the original in full. And I just want to say, I'm honestly so happy about how much the fandom has shifted their personality on Orko.
I've heard the stories, the whole "he's the worst character", the "annoying mascot", the "Scrappy" of MotU, this and that. I see older fan works making him the butt of the joke, and it's basically "Orko sucks, laugh!". And, I just really want to say how much I like that Orko's managed to make this shift so well into "Okay, he's not that bad".
I don't know if it was people reviewing their biases against him, or Dark Orko making people realize that there's "too far" to go against the character, but I'm just glad that he gets fandom "respect" nowadays, with his story having no need to be changed (it's a deep story for the comic relief!), his design staying practically concrete, and the heaping against him against the fandom basically shrinking.
Like, in contrast, Snarf from ThunderCats, in both the serious adaptation and the "too much of a joke that people don't like" one, both of them made him a silent pet. Meanwhile, Orko gets to be Orko still, and I just really like that he can be.
