Good morning everybody! I hope we all have a great season 7!
An epic battle leaves the universe in a state of chaos, threatening to destroy all life unless a sacrifice is made.
That's gonna do it for this season guys. We'll be starting season 7 next Saturday. Sorry I was late on posting so many times this season, but it shouldn't happen again next season.
A metaphysical encounter shines light on a Paladin's fate. Lance and Allura console each other about their past judgments. Lotor makes a plea.
As one Paladin takes on a dangerous mission through a wormhole, the others contend with failing controls on the castle.
After Lotor and Allura head off in the new ship, the remaining Paladins get a dire warning that could change everything.
When the team takes a break to play a magical role-playing game, their fantasy world sparks useful ideas to help them solve real-world problems.
I'd like to preface this post by saying that I'm sorry for my long absence. I've been swamped with work and just haven't had time to do anything here. I believe I should be good now, and won't be taking any more breaks.
Keith's journey to an abyss to search for a quintessence source unlocks memories about his past. Lance wallows in unrequited love.
An attack by Sendak prompts the Paladins to scramble to a planet's defense. Lotor calls on Allura for help in assembling a powerful ship.
The team searches for a portal to a mysterious, fabled Altean land called Oriande. Shiro starts to feel like there’s something wrong with him.
This ends off season 5. See you again for season 6!
Keith is sent to find a fellow Blade named Krolia and locate a powerful weapon. Lance, Hunk and Pidge reprogram a robot to have fun.
Shiro acts against the wishes of the other Paladins. Powerful Galra from around the empire convene for the Kral Zera ceremony.
I'm very sorry for how late I'm posting this. I've been swamped with work.
A power struggle erupts within the Galra. As the Paladins argue over their next move, an attack forces them to save themselves and the Olkari.
Faced with a painful decision, the Paladins reluctantly come to an agreement with Zarkon. Hagar comes to grips with memories from the past.
We will be watching and discussing episode 3 on March 17.
After a daring mission at a key Galra outpost, the team considers a risky alliance. One Paladin leads a journey to retrieve an important prisoner.
We will watch and discuss episode 2 on March 10.
Edit: Fixed the date
Voltron has taken Naxzala! Or has he?
"I know we've had some differences in our past, but... I think it's time we had a discussion."
The Voltron Coalition makes their move to liberate a third of Zarkon's empire.
Meanwhile, Lotor tries to head through the Daibazaal wormhole. But it doesn't really work. Then his generals try to capture him and turn him in to his dad. Then he escapes.
Uh... hoo, boy.
Coran turns the Voltron team into a live performance troupe, which wins hearts and minds and helps grow the anti-Galra coalition.
But he does it under the influence of a brain worm that makes him really obsessive about it.
Voice notes:
Coran and Allura learn where milkshakes come from, Matt starts helping out, and Zarkon decides to put Lotor down.
And holy damn, did Lotor just kill one of his generals? Jesus.
Notes:
Pidge takes off on her own to hunt for his brother.
Voice note:
The growing coalition of anti-Galra planets is growing, and Voltron is a symbol of the rebellion. But Keith doesn't want to play in a lion, he wants to go on Blade-of-Marmora commando raids, and he keeps taking off and annoying the team.
Luckily, Shiro is able to reconnect with Black Lion, so Voltron is still kicking. And Keith takes off to go full-time BoM.
The tale of the origin of Voltron is finally told. Haggar uses a psychic mind-meld to attempt to wake Zarkon up, while Coran and Allura tell the story to the rest of the Paladins.
References to past Voltron iterations:
<There was more, but I gotta watch again and note them down.>
Voice notes:
Sahiro's back, and some team drama occurs. Keith gets ready to stand aside for Shiro, and Lance offers to step down, while Pidge and Hunk devise a solution to track the comet that Lotor recently grabbed.
The Paladins track the comet to the Ulippa system, where they find a Galra base under attack by... Galra? The Lions take off, but Black won't respond to Shiro, so Shiro stays behind and the current seating chart stays intact.
Lotor's SEAL Team Lady Squad is invading the base to steal a chunk of teludav, while the Paladins invade their ship to find the comet. Except the comet is now a fighter-craft.
The STLS succeeds, and starts transferring the teludav fragment on a cargo ship. When they return to their own ship, they find and immediately engage the Paladins. The Paladins retreat, totally outmatched, but not before Keith and Acxa realize they've met before: she was the mysterious Galra soldier in the belly of the weblum!
The battle continues in space, with Acxa in the comet-craft squaring off against Voltron, while Lotor tries to get the teludav fragment safely away. Kieth has a hard decision to make: stay on defense or attack the cargo ship. He chooses the latter and gets off a lucky shot that destroys the cargo ship, but Voltron takes a hard hit from the comet-craft. With their objective destroyed, Lotor orders a withdrawal (but is pretty pissed).
Back at Galra HQ, Haggar interrogates the Ulippa commander, while Lotor stands by. Whatever Lotor's game is, Haggar has no idea.
Voice notes:
None.
Hey, it's Shiro! He's alive?
And what is Operation Kuron?
Voice Notes:
The only Paladin voices we hear today are Josh Keaton and Steven Yeun.
A guest voice is Matthew Moy, who you might know as the restaurant manager from 2 Broke Girls. Presumably he's one of the ice-planet-outpost guys.
