Hello. Can anyone recommend a gunsmith for an 8" build?
Past few weeks got a few needed pieces for the vepr 12. 4shooters had the molot railed handguard and the molot vertical grip. Grabbed a cheap Romeo 5, stream light and a sling from kusa I had laying around. Grabbed three more oem mags.
I'm looking to buy a Vepr that's for sale locally and trying to get an accurate idea on what price I should shoot for.
It's a folding stock Vepr with:
Chaos USA quad rail
Hogue Grip
Tapco G2 trigger
The seller claims it had a lot of work done by I.O. Inc to make it reliable which greatly increases the value but I don't know anything about that to verify
Not sure yet if it comes with the original furniture or second mag. At the moment only has the 5 rounder. Otherwise it looks to be in pretty good condition and the shop thinks it hasn't been fired much if at all
What would a fair price be for something like this?
I just got home with my fixed stock version that looks practically unshot and I have a few questions. I saw in a comment on this forum that you aren't supposed to dry fire these? Is that true? Also, I am sitting on copious amounts of birdshot around the 1200 FPS (1150-1250) range that will be my training ammo. I was wondering, if I wanted to get max reliability on the Vepr while I train with it, if I should remove the brake it came with and shoot it with just the thread protector. I have seen posts stating that the muzzle brake can decrease reliability with lower FPS loads. Thanks.
Does anyone have a copy of the Vepr12 manual that they’d share? 😁
The Vepr 12 I bought has an RFT hand guard on it and I haven't been able to find much on RFT. This leads me to ask: is it any good?
I know it's a little wacky, but I was thinking of mounting a IR laser to the VEPR 12. I was looking at TDI handguards but I'm not sure if it would hold zero. Anyone able to chime in? Additionally, any other options y'all can think of?
I plan to buy Zenitco klesh 2 to put under the rail and pt 1 vepr stock . And also modify barrel shroud for it
Does anyone know of a retailer that sells a railed gas block? I can't find one anywhere. I thought about asking a machine shop to mill one, but that can be costly.
Where do you all source your parts in the US? I’ve mostly been looking at Carolina Shooters and Dissident Arms.
I know I’m late to the game, but I have been looking for a GK-03 and LAC titanium lightweight gas piston rod + piston, but haven’t been able to find them anywhere. Any tips?
I bought a new old stock Molot VEPR 12 (FIME Group) with 6 mags and a 12 round mag for 1300$ at a gun show. Did I make out alright?
Does anyone know where I might be able to purchase one like those on the factory SBS?
I was looking at the Sport-6 kit but I don't have the railed gas block, unfortunately. Can I use the B-19RPK upper handguard and the B-20U?
LGS has a lightly used Molot VEPR 12ga side folding for $1100.
I remember these were selling for $799 back when fime group did the big import but I seem to have regrets on not pulling the trigger then.
What are these running fair market price these days?
Does anyone know a source or willing to sell a Vepr 12 Bolt?
Can someone from America please tell me if they can legally send me a drum magazine for my vepr12 to Pakistan? Impossible to purchase one here
Ideally would like it to still be competitive for 3-gun but have been thinking about shortening it
Hey guys- bought a BNIB unfired VEPR 12. Noticed upon closer inspection when i got home that there were some small bubbles in the finish. When i ran my finger over them, the finish flaked off. Not much I can do, but just curious what may have caused this as i know the finish on these things is pretty durable. May just have it cerakoted down the road. Thoughts?
Was thinking of pairing this with a 1913 adapter to get a folder for my vepr.
Any 1913 adapters for the vepr12? Currently have the m4 adapter on it but would love a 1913 folder for it. Thanks in advance for any info.
Was handling a vepr 12 earlier, couldn’t push the recoil spring in or just requires alot of force ? Is there a trick to it, want to know before I buy, same time most gun stores don’t want people dissemble the firearms so couldn’t really dig to deep into it at that moment.
