new to the show just finished season 2 i now hate classical music
anyone else hate how dick rebeled like jason todd. because i dont like how moody and violent he was in the flash backs
Huge comic book fan in general and always enjoyed Teen Titans Go! First 3-4 episodes of Titans really grabbed me and I loved seeing the live characters - but the forced plot stupidity in the asylum episode and this idiotic B-street tragedy crap are some of the worst writing I’ve seen in a while. Does it get better or should I watch something else?
Did beast boy just turn into a virus? What the hell dude.
Holy shit I have just gotten done with S2 E4 and Donna... the way she treated Garth (I think thats his name?) was not on in my opinion. She slept with him and then left him right after, fully intending to leave??? And then he got shot??? He deserved so much better...
The sex scenes are useless. Like, they bring nothing to the plot.
You would be surprised by how many shows, comics etc. have sex scenes that actually help with the plot in a way, because it's not just sex because they are horny, in fiction even sex have a meaning that is more than just "I'm horny", it's genuine trust and love which is why I "prefer" those if I must be slapped in the face by fake moans and naked bodies.
With the Titans it's only there for fanservice and literally helps with nothing, they don't even mention it anymore and literally skip over the "we are dating part".
They have sex, but they are never confirmed to be dating and do end up just being single or switching around with someone else.
Kory and Dick, just sex, not romantic feelings. The relationship was purely fuck buddies which ended in two episodes and was completely useless.
Dick and Dawn or Dawn and Hank. Just a useless love triangle, a messy one at that because Dick dated her but then Hank did and it's not clear who she dated first between the two, at least I can't understand it.
Hank and Dawn had a remotely decent relationship just for the fact that even if in a montage they were shown not fucking two days after knowing each other and actually had proper dates before taking the "big step".
Blackfire and Conner (in my opinion one of the weirdest) was uncomfortable from the start. You know Conner is mentally younger and only physically a adult, even during the time him and Blackfire did it he was at most a teen mentally speaking (correct me if I'm wrong) which just feels weird.
Literally the only reason Gar and Rachel didn't end up like that (which I'm thankful of, given it's annoying how no one have a proper or decent romantic relationship) was because the actress was a minor during the start of the show and Gar actor was 20 or something, you can see why it would be weird to do a sex scene with Gar and Rachel, but it was obvious that if it was possible they would have done that in a heartbeat.
Also it's kinda annoying how Gar literally doesn't exist without Rachel. They literally had to make him become Conner babysitter and then make him the only one who cares enough about Jason to still make him have some relevance. Maybe if they spent less time in making everyone fuck for no reasons useful to the plot they could have focused on the actual characters personality.
To be honest it's not even the sex the issue. It's how unrealistically fast it happens and how most of the times it means nothing or it's enough for the characters to be dating (Rose and Jason) who slept once together and suddenly Jason was being all lovey dovey saying "I'll be your future" and all that which, was incredibly sweet but also way too much when you slept once together and aren't even dating for more than a week.
I can't really explain myself well, but Blackfire and Conner sex scene was what made me snap and just get tired of it.
In short, sex isn't an issue. It's how the romantic part of the show is considered to be only sex, not the actual dating part or emotional bond and most of the times it leads to nothing useful to the plot and is just... there. And it's just the weirdest thing ever.
You would expect that Rose and Jason would talk and bring a closure or new healthier start to their relationship but nothing. You would expect for any relationship to build up romantically but nothing. It's just sex if allowed because the characters and actors are old enough. Plot wise you could delete them and the attempts to show past relationships and nothing would change, if not the show would improve.

I'm only on season two and it seems like her wig is the only one that actually looks good. Which is crazy cause it's platinum blonde.
It’s been a bit since I’ve watched this show all the way through, and wanted a reminder of if it was overly sexual at all? I’m thinking of maybe watching it with my sister and my dad but it’s always awkward watching drawn out sex scenes with them 😂 thanks ahead of time!
Hello, I am currently writing a Teen Titans/The Titans/Young Justice television saga and one character I will be using is Jason Todd. I will show him being an early-days Robin through to him joining the titans full time and then eventually his death and resurrection into Red Hood.
However, I am trying to decide on the general timeframe of when Jason dies in relation to his resurrection and Under the Red Hood arc. My first plan is to have Jason become Red Hood in The Titans so, dying in S5 or maybe even early S6 ready for the final season (S6) where he is the main villain.
The other option is that I have Jason die at some point in the latter half of The Titans and then throughout Young Justice he is used as a cautionary tale only to later come back as the big bad of that entire show.
Which option do you think would be better: Jason dying and being resurrected the next season attacking his once friends while they are still grieving or Jason dying and then being this symbol to the new generation only to come back as the living embodiment of everything the YJ team will represent.
Either way Jason will represent the more nihilistic answer to the question this saga will present, being “Should the teenagers be allowed to be heroes/sidekicks” whereas Nightwing represents the more hopeful answer. The only decision i need to make is do i want the Nightwing/Red Hood conflict be the catalyst for the major status quo change i’m planning to end Titans with and setup for Young Justice (the change will be regarding the way teenagers are brought into the hero life i.e. Nightwing will form Titans Academy which will basically act as an Xavier’s School type environment for the YJ show) or do i want Red Hood to be this overarching villain that the new generation have to defeat to prove that Nightwings method works.
