This is a subreddit for talking about the DC superhero-team, The (Teen) Titans.
The Teen Titans, also known as the New Teen Titans or simply the Titans, are a fictional superhero team appearing in American comic books published by DC Comics, often in an eponymous monthly series. As the group's name suggests, its members are teenage superheroes, many of whom have acted as sidekicks to DC's premiere superheroes in the Justice League.
First appearing in 1964 in The Brave and the Bold #54, the team was founded by Kid Flash (Wally West), Robin (Dick Grayson), and Aqualad (Garth), with the team adopting the name Teen Titans in issue 60 following the addition of Wonder Girl (Donna Troy) to its ranks.

I'll start. I did not care for the series finale
Did the 2003 show influence his animal features or did he already have sharp teeth, fur, and pointy ears?
I don’t mean the antichrist since that’s an evil figure, but what I mean is that she kinda was born to a “virgin” mother through an unholy spirit “Trigon” and taken in by the people of Azareth which is only one letter off Nazareth. What do you think?
I’ve always thought he has a cool design, and to me flash having a side kick just makes sense oppose to someone like wonder girl
So a youtuber named Shay doorags made a review on this episode and what he said in the end really had my head spinning.
The episode is basically a anti-racism episode where a racist version of Captain Atom targets starfire for his racism against tamaranean he calls her a racial slur “Troq” the whole episode, but because his is a space hero she doesn’t say anything to her friends because of embarrassment and goes along with him to help fight another alien. He hangs out with the other titans to the point where cyborg starts calling her “Troq” she calls him out for saying that then she explains what is really means the 2 have a heart 2 heart him telling his existence with discrimination with the fact the his half robot, after that she gets the courage to tell her friends what “Troq” means, then they team up beat the bad guy, Captain atom gets hurt then starfire saves him.
In the end of the episode CA pulls out the “your one of the good one” on her for saving him, so her and the titans, (rightfully so) reprimand him for still having racial bias against tamaranean and just because you like a certain group of people in a race/sexuality doesn’t make you any less racist or sexist he then get defensive and then groups the tamaranean and humans as the same so now he’s racist towards tamaranean and humans so he didn’t learn anything.
At the end of the review shady says that it was a missed opportunity to have the Titans try to be above the hatred and try to come to a compromise with Captain Atom but no the episode ended perfectly because it doesn’t matter if the guy was trying to change or whatever he still was a grown ass man, not only mistreating but called racial slurs to a teenage girls that he has never met before all he knows is that she is tamaranean, and her friends rightfully take her side and straight up hate him because he is being a racist nobody should justified their existence.
So, on a stroll down memory lane, I decided to watch Teen Titan's covered by a reaction channel on YT. But when it got to the end of Terra's arc, a couple of the group watching are like, "She sacrificed herself, but that doesn't absolve her of all she did."
And I'm like... Where's the compassion for the vulnerable, traumatized, at risk teen girl who was preyed upon by an older man in a moment of weakness?
It just made me wonder is there like a sub-subculture of Terra haters I don't know about?
EDIT: Thanks so much for answering ya'll. Just to clarify, that quote was the justification for hating the character after being asked why they hated Terra. I thought it was a pretty weak answer, since Terra's story has mitigating factors at play. It was even more surprising to me because it was an adult with kids who said this. They said they'd not seen the show before, so that eliminated any hateful nostalgia they may have had. So, all I could think was.
"... What if she was your kid? Would you still feel the same?"
So yeah, it made me curious as to if this was a thing or not. Thanks for giving me a bit of clarification on the matter. I'll just add it to the list of other things for me to steer clear of in the future. Gets longer every day, folks! lol
Does anyone know if there's a subreddit tailored toward discussion of the Titans comics (rather than the cartoon)?
I'm talking about the teen titans (2003) not the teen titans go! (2013).

It's been a long time since Teen Titans was cancelled after season 5, What are yours ideas how to save the show and bring it back for a revival?
