Taco Bell. Live Mas!
Welcome to the subreddit for people who have been wronged by Taco Bell! Remember shreddded chicken, mexican pizzas, etc? Taco Bell doesn't!

I’m told I need to lose some weight, wanted some opinions on the best option at Taco Bell. Typical order is several grilled cheese burritos maybe a quesadilla and a Diet Pepsi. Thing is I don’t really like:
So that eliminates a lot. Help!
We just found out that you could do this in Vegas. Apparently it's been a thing for a while but we had no idea. We had other plans for our wedding... But we have so much Taco Bell merch and it's important to our story of meeting each other.
Has anybody on this Reddit actually got married there before? We're trying to find more merchandise and honestly it's been a bit of a struggle.
It sounds silly, but we're genuinely so excited. It seems like such a fun thing to do.
This has happened at my store twice now and my manager insists it's a common accident.
Never mind that when people order regular they're not going to want the taste of diet, but artificial sweetener can trigger epileptic seizures, and you don't know if maybe a diabetic is coming through getting one because their blood sugar is low.
(I was also ignored and yelled at by the asm for trying to explain this but that's another story)
I feel like it's being done on purpose because we ran out of regular Pepsi and my managers don't want to go through telling people we're out, but does anyone else have this happen?
It's ridiculous who is making these decisions. 😭
O.M.G! How can a company who is only incentivized by profits be so stingy with freebies? Only 20,000 discounts?! Preposterous! Only the bots win a <$3 prize!
I tried to get a cheesy gordita crunch meal only to find out they don't have one anymore. No box options either. I ordered one and it was $5.69 ($6 after tax) and I was pretty upset about that. The lady at the Drive thu window told me I could get an entire box for the same price if I used the app. I get on the app, make my entire order that gave me 3 items and a drink for the same price as one cheesy gordita crunch (one of the items being the CGC). Thats great and all but when I tried to buy it I couldnt. They were making me become a member just to order a reasonable meal. I wasn't allowed to buy what I wanted at a reasonable price unless I signed up for their membership. That was the last straw for me with taco bell. They dropped the ball so many times before. Like removing the meximelt, and then bringing it back but it's completely different to the point it sucks, and adding garbage like those cantina meals or those new chicken al pastor abominations that taste like garbage wrapped in brick hard stale garbage.
Taco bell has the most simple and delicious ingredients available. When I worked there it was easy, simple, and clean. I've worked at Taco Bell, KFC, McDonalds, and Sonic.... I'd say McD's is okay to eat... KFC and Sonic drive thru... I'd rather eat out of a toilet bowl after working there. Taco bell was amazing though. Clean, simple, effective. Somehow they ruined that. They made it overpriced, and added a lot of garbage food that makes no sense. Then they try to manipulate you into downloading their app, and won't even let you buy unless you are a member. I'm sorry taco bell, but you have ruined taco bell.
i work at tb and idk if anyone’s talking about it but at my store at least, the system for mobile ordering where they would make it before you get there that they recently implemented is going away! so mobile orders will now be made when you get there
Somebody told me that when you place an order on the app, that the TB employees have the ability to look at how many previous orders you’ve placed. Can a TB worker please confirm this? I hope it’s not true I’m so embarrassed LOL 😭
I love it, for only 10 bucks for 30 days? Such a great deal
As someone who was born in 2002 obviously I experienced none of this but to those that have does it compare well to what it originally tasted like? Is it worth trying the few items they brought back? If it tastes different is it better or worse ?
Not exactly sure if it was the wax paper or what but I got a 12 crunchy taco box and half the tacos tasted like paint or something. Just a really nasty taste. I’ve had repeated issues at that particular location but it’s the only one around me. Funny enough it’s only when I order crunchy tacos. I ordered 3 the other day and got 3 soft tacos instead. I wanted to go back to say something but I had just told them about the soft taco thing and didn’t wanna come off as a Karen at that point. Anyone had similar experiences?
Personally my first order of business is I'm bringing back the Quesarito and the Volcano menu, permanently.
I'm also adding lava and baja sauce as an additional add on to all items for custom creations.
I'm lowering the prices on all items by one US dollar. I'm perfectly fine with not having a third yacht. /S
I am having the option to remove the Beefy 5-Layer from all custom boxes.
I'm bringing back fun colors of the packaging, mostly 90's era aesthetics.
I'm offering in-app deals that offer tiers higher than fire for exclusive rewards. No first come, first serve. Only loyalty members get the chance at merch.
I'm bringing back Zesty Bowls, Taco Salads, Loaded Grillers, Grilled Stuffed Nacho and the Chipotle Ranch Grilled Chicken Burrito. I'll throw in the Cheesy Core Burrito with lava sauce as well.
I'm not bringing back a replacement of Gidget the Chihuahua dog, let him rest. I'll bring in a Doberman Pinscher named Bell.
I'll adapt and listen to what people want and correct my wrong-doings. I win the fast food wars and I am in the shitty remake of Demolition Man. Life complete.
What would you do or bring back?
Can someone explain why the fuck it costs almost 8 dollars for beans cheese chips and a small amount of sour cream??? I remember when they were $2.50.
i got my nails done and was hungry because any girl knows that getting ur nails done is either really relaxing or real tiring. i was tired and hungry and got taco bell at around 6:30pm..wasn’t busy or anything only one car at the window when i pulled up…still yummy though.
I feel like they've had so many chances now to bring back the fan favorites that everyone knows and loves, but they keep putting out flop after flop. The big cheez-it was just disappointing and the decades menu is unfortunately underwhelming. How do you guys think the nuggets will do?
My wife and I really kinda love Taco Bell (Teebs in our house) and we juice the rewards for all their worth. We live in "fire". Our kids love it too. But our newest cheat code involves combining it with our Kroger fuel points and Boost membership.
Why? Because at Kroger they always give you 5x points on gift cards. And most Fridays they do 2x fuel points Fridays (and 4x for Boost members).
So... I do our grocery shopping on Fridays and always throw in a $25 Teebs gift card with my groceries because on Fridays as a Boost member a $25 Teebs gift card behaves like I'm spending $400 on groceries which give you $0.40 per gallon off at the pump.
Plus we have a Kroger gift card which gives you a default of $0.55 off... So that almost $1 per gallon off.
My wife and I fill out cars up together on one transaction so that's 40 gallons of gas... Do that twice a month. $80 in savings per month and we spend about $50 per month at Teebs.
We eat a Teebs for free.
Maybe make these 1-2 hours? But the massive company would never do that would they
I got chips and cheese today. The chips seem totally different than before. A lot more dense and more coloring to them. Was there a change?
Added beef. It was alright. Probably won't get it again though.
No regurts stopping in Live Oak.
