To the person who posted about not getting a water cup when asking and to all the uninformed comments…
the reason some people say no is because 90% of the time we are asked for a water cup we watch them go right to the soda machine and get soda…its not because they hate you or are “being lazy” its because people are dishonest and it costs stores money which we then get chewed out for (i dont care that they are a big company its the principle)
if more people were honest we wouldnt have this issue but unfortunately thats how the world is🤷🏻
i have my orientation at chipotle at 4pm tdy. Does that mean i start today and should wear black jeans and a black shirt or should i just come in regular blue jeans
Do they just get rinsed and warmed up? Or are they cooked in some oil?
Edit: I would like to know if there are seed oils in the beans because I heard a rumor about it and would like to avoid extra oil consumption. Thanks
I may be in the minority, but I like Chipotles queso. Has anyone found a ready-made dupe at their grocery store? (For example, looks like Herdez and Tostitos have popular queso blanco in a jar.)
My local Chipotle was only able to make bowls today because their grill press thing wasn't working. I said I didn't care about the grill press and if I could just have a burrito anyways. Worker said they wasn't sure and, not wanting to hold up the line, I said let's just do a bowl.
Question for Chipotle workers: why can't anything besides a bowl be made if the grill press isn't working?
Hi! tried to make it at home and good but a little bit off and seemed more fluffy than in store.
Is rice bran oil important for flavor? I used vegetable oil cause i didn't have any.
What is the ratio rice to water? I used the standard plain long grain 1:1.5. (R:W)
Yo i’m deadass tired of this shit with some of the Chipotle’s near me. One day they give the water cup one day they don’t.
What would happen if I straight up said I don’t want the food next time they say they don’t do water cups
So i just started part time and in the back washing dishes for 5 and a half hour straight. is this how you guys all started off and if so will they change me to another position soon?
Today I met a former GM working as a crew member at Panda Express. why would anyone quit a high salary to work as a crew member at Panda Express?
I.e. if i just picked the corn vs getting corns, beans, rice, would i be getting more corn overall since there would be more room for it?
I recently ordered a bowl with extra chicken that I usually pay around 15$ for(haven’t ordered in half a year) only to find out that it costs EIGHTEEN dollars now? That’s ridiculous enough for me to make a post about it. For reference I live in Nyc where I can get a full pizza for about 4 dollars more. I immediately deleted the app after that lmao I still can’t believe it 18 dollars
I don't understand why some customers ask for no rice, beans, and barbacoa in a burrito, then ask for queso, all the salsas, extra sour cream, and guac only to ask me to re-roll it because it's messy or come back and complain that they couldn't eat it because it got everywhere.
I know some people do this as a joke, I had it happen the other day and they kept saying sorry as they watched me struggle. But it happens too often for every single one to be a joke.
If you want something that's basically soup, that's fine idc. But having it in a burrito just makes both our days a little bit worse. Please just get the rice or ask for a bowl I'm begging you. Double wrapping it doesn't help because then they'll either ask for more liquid or complain that they didn't want that much tortilla.
Rant over. Thank you for coming to my TED talk.
Hello, for about a better part of a year and a half now... My rewards app when used in store never gives me points, I've been asking for the receipt so I can 'forgot to scan' a few days later. I'm get my points within an hour or 2 when I use that method but I'm limited on how many times I can do that (and I completely understand). The register will acknowledge when I have coupons for chips and stuff but still won't give me points.
Anyone have any tips or tricks?
Things I've already tried, uninstalling, leaving the rewards program, toggle off and on the texts and alerts, signing out then back in.
Anything else that I can try?
I eat at chipolte easily 20+ times a month and I always get the kids meal for 5.94. Today it was 6.47, please tell me he just messed up and charged me for a extra tortilla 🤯🥺🥺🥺
I’m almost always scheduled more hours than any other employee in the store (besides the GM and apprentice). I don’t get why I have more hours than all of the SLs or KLs. I literally cried tears of joy this week because I only work 30 hours, just to see i’m scheduled for 36 hours next week. This doesn’t even count the amount of time I’m still at work past schedule because we’re always there late. I see this place more than I see my boyfriend who I live with. I’m tired y’all. I used to work 16 hr shifts, 36 hr weekends at a casino and it was nowhere as draining as this place. I’ve applied to so many other places and still have heard nothing back.
I don't personally mind when I get my bowl as I prefer them cold anyways, but is it easier on employees if I order at say 11:00am vs 3:00pm? Is 11:00 too early if the store near me opens at 10:45? I know mobile orders are annoying as fuck to deal with so I'd prefer to go when it's easiest for y'all and be as least of a nuisance as possible on my flexible days
Appreciate any responses
Every time I think I can take you on…. (2x Steak on Brown Rice, Black Beans, Corn salsa, Pico, Hot salsa, Cheese, Sour cream, Lettuce, and a side tortilla)
I am humbled yet again, 12 hours later; my bowels in ruins…. The ebbs and flows of my digestive tract yearn for anti inflammatory assistance
I can’t do it anymore… I keep thinking I can get away with it and not have the explosive diarrhea. Yet, here I am again; reaping what I’ve sown
