I moved to Costa Rica two years ago and missed it when they brought nacho cheese back last year when I visited the US. I am visiting again and Del Taco is a must but I'm hoping they still have the nacho cheese. 🙏
Why did they remove the taco salad??? If anything remove those nasty ass burgers and fries 😭. One of the only reasons I drive 4miles to my nearest del taco instead of Taco Bell down the street was for my biweekly taco salad. DEL TACO PR TEAM BRING IT BACK GOD DAMNT.
This was the only thing i ordered. It was good. But also it was lighter and I didn't feel so heavy after. At the very least make a option simular, even if it's grilled chicken and not Christy. However I know several people that perfer the crispy. I'm not a huge fan of the seasoning. So the Crispy chicken was perfect. The hubby loves del taco, but we never go because I didint like the seasoning. We started going alot more thanks to that crispy chicken burrito. Other then that, I like the shrimp tacos. But they are seasonal. Please please please please! Bring the Crispy chicken guacamole burrito back!!!
I miss the old recipe Nacho cheese back in 2000's 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
So anytime I travel to Las Vegas I make it a point to stop there. Someone mentioned here once in the comments that you can still get this item. I was suspicious at best, but I assure you, the rumors are quite true. Well as of 1/23/2025 anyways.
And might as well throw in some chili cheese fry porn.
If ya'll haven't been there - it's a must stop.
Any employee out there able to identify which company/source Del Taco uses for their Strawberry Syrup Mix used in their Strawberry Milkshake 🍓🥤? 🤔
I grew up in a state that never had DelTaco and for most of my life the only fast food Mexican I would get would be Taco Bell. I have now since have had the pleasure of eating DelTaco for the past couple years and I want to say that it blows Taco Bell out of the water. The food quality is ridiculously better. Night and day difference. Just wanted to rant about that, thanks for listening.
Anyone received their w2 if worked there?
Probably my first and only post ever reminiscing of (not even old) old del taco. Used to work here during high school back in ‘13-‘14. I remember the secret chili cheese fry burrito, 3 for 99¢ taco Tuesday, I think 3 for $1.79 chicken soft tacos on Thursday. Breakfast quesadilla, the BRC burrito, $11 fiesta pack, macho breakfast burritos. Just came to get some lunch and they don’t even have kids meals now. I’m just glad they still have the steak and potato epic burrito, still don’t call it the cali bacon, and shrimp tacos/burritos but dang. Just had to rant a bit, as they don’t have kids burgers.
I know that some people were reporting that they were no longer serving them with habanero but only just until a couple days ago a nearby del taco stopped serving them with it, happened to anyone else?
I haven't received any coupons in awhile. They used to come every month.
Fr only get 9 hours a week, we get yelled at if car times aren’t perfect when there is like only 3 of us working because labor is apparently so high. Yet, we get a new hire once a month and advertise as always hiring. No hours to give out apparently but our general manager works like 6 nine hour shifts a week, and makes sure to create her schedule around herself. Terrible communication with the general manager, and the customers can’t comprehend that their burger wasn’t ready within 2 minutes after they took 10 minutes to make their decision. Tbh I just needed rant to someone about this, I am just waiting for the day for another job to call be back, which is also apparently impossible with the terrible CA job market. Shoutout to my other coworkers though and shift managers, all great people and dealing with the same problems together. I get happy when I hear that someone quit without a word after getting a better job.
Did they silently remove the taco salad? I always like getting this one but I went to the drive through last week and didn’t see it anywhere on the menu. When I asked them if I could have the salad they said “did you mean the nachos?”
10 bucks worth of food*
5 something for maybe 20 French fries with a scoop of chili and a pinch of cheese
4 something for a Burrito with maybe 3 tablespoons of meat and a pinch of cheese
Cheaper to get high.
i love u del taco
Del taco was good food & affordable compared to Taco Bell but at this point there’s no difference. They filled half my 8 layer with lettuce.
I was wondering what the beans are cooked in for the burritos and if they are somewhat healthy?
How do they make it? Like what sweeteners do they use and what type of milk? I've tried and failed to make it at home many times now.
I love the Real Strawberry Sprite at Del Taco and was wondering if anyone knows how I can make it at home.
Does anyone know what brand of jalapeños and queso DT uses? I like that their pickled jalapeños are crunchy and not soggy, also love the flavor of their queso.
I prefer to order using app or kiosks sometimes to save time during lunch hour rush when needed. Unfortunately the app/kiosk is missing the no salt on fries option in combo meals which I often ordered. So if I want to order combo meal which comes with fries, I always have to wait for a person to place an order instead of using app to order ahead before driving out or kiosk. I even tried to contact them with the issue twice but it looked like it just got sent to that particular Del I go often due to proximity which won't solve anything. Is there anyway to contact appropriate channel to address this issue since it shouldn't be that difficult to fix it? If they don't fix it, still not that bad because I spend $2-3 less per meal if I don't order combo using app to save time but still.
