you could eat with some shitty clown, or you could dine with the king
Number 15: Burger King Foot Lettuce
The last thing you'd want in your Burger King burger is someone's foot fungus. But as it turns out, that might be what you get. A 4channer uploaded a photo anonymously to the site showcasing his feet in a plastic bin of lettuce. With the statement: "This is the lettuce you eat at Burger King." Admittedly, he had shoes on.
But that's even worse.
The post went live at 11:38 PM on July 16, and a mere 20 minutes later, the Burger King in question was alerted to the rogue employee. At least, I hope he's rogue. How did it happen? Well, the BK employee hadn't removed the Exif data from the uploaded photo, which suggested the culprit was somewhere in Mayfield Heights, Ohio. This was at 11:47. Three minutes later at 11:50, the Burger King branch address was posted with wishes of happy unemployment. 5 minutes later, the news station was contacted by another 4channer. And three minutes later, at 11:58, a link was posted: BK's "Tell us about us" online forum. The foot photo, otherwise known as exhibit A, was attached. Cleveland Scene Magazine contacted the BK in question the next day. When questioned, the breakfast shift manager said "Oh, I know who that is. He's getting fired." Mystery solved by 4chan. Now we can all go back to eating our fast food in peace.

Been selling a lot of my old Kid’s Meal toy sets, this is actually the last one I have. It’s the 2003 Fairly Odd Parents set. It’s a set of 9, originally there was 10, so nearly complete, everything is in great condition. I’m asking way lower than eBay prices, only $50 plus shipping for the set. If you’re interested, please let me know. Thanks!
It might not be a big deal but there are a few times I've added cheese to my whopper, only to open it up and see none on there. I don't think this would be a problem if it already came with cheese.
Then I thought about every other restaurants signature burger, and they all have cheese on them. Its kind of odd you have to ask for it with cheese.
Anyone know where I can source cheese like they use in the BD?
Dying to replicate this on a ship!
It’s way better to
It was good though
Today my wife ordered BK. She had a whopper meal. The moment she left the car the bag ripped at the bottom while she was holding it. So we called the store and asked for fresh fries. That’s all we asked for because the burgers were obviously wrapped so they were fine, we didn’t want to be a hassle, but the manager refused to even remake an order of fries! They said it wasn’t their fault that their bag ripped. I watched her she wasn’t holding the bag wrong. Now, is this a real BK policy to say this?
The two unique items that burger king had made this year and I completely missed them. It's sold out everywhere. What are alternatives (maybe better) to the Gomez churros or Chocolate shake that I can get? Could a Costco churro taste better than BKs?
I've never gotten taxed this much before :( online it said $88 before taxes. why was I taxed 55%?!?! It's stressing me out because I got that paycheck right before being suspended a week. Been having a rough time first time moving at 19. They said I got suspended because of 3 call offs with no replacement in past few weeks. they said one of them was a no call no show when I called before my shift to say my car was messed up and that I'd try to figure it out and come in. I called again to let them know the car wasn't fixed. Yet they never answered. So I'm marked as a no call no show because they didn't answer. It just doesn't feel right idk lmk if this is normal I haven't worked fast food before
I don't know if anyone has posted this but instead of the "Big King" burger Hungry Jack's (Australian Burger King) has the "Big Jack" instead which makes it so much more hilarious considering is supposed to be a dig at the Macca's Bit Mac.
why? it's the same old burger from 7 years ago. absolutely nothing has changed and most definitely no additions worth an extra $1 to make it cost that much. if you're going to make the same food cost more I want to see something done to it. high quality meat, ingredients. better trained employees that know how to male a sandwich(easiest thing in the world but aplenty NOT)
What are your thoughts on this?
I ordered a delivery order through the app and they delivered it to the wrong place (shown in the picture they sent me upon delivery). I put in a request for their support on the app which told me I would be emailed in 48 hours. It’s almost been a week and nothing. No food. No refund. No one to talk to. Everything I look up just directs me back to that support page on the app. I’ve been submitting tickets daily on there and nothing. I got ripped off it seems?
No hate but I was at Burger King today and sometimes I get chicken nuggets with my meal and the last two times I want the nuggets tasted like rubber and were not crispy! I went today and like a month ago and they weren’t nice! (This problem was in Ireland By the way)
I get lunch from some of the local fast food places around 1-2 times a month and I used to go to Wendy's all the time but they've raised their prices and shrunk all their food, I don't even bother with them anymore. The Dave's single is now a slider and I can't remember the last time I saw the meat poking out of the bread.
I've been going to BK more often and I'm shocked at how things are done there. The Whopper is still the same size it's always been and I can get a double with cheese for $8? Wendy's charges $7.50 for a burger 1/3 the size.
The employee at the window offered a coupon for $1 drinks, so a sandwich and a drink under $10 that actually is filling and tasty? That's unheard of these days.
How do y'all do it? In this day and age companies are always looking to skimp somewhere. Maybe the pay is bad? No benefits? Food is actually from Neptune? What's the catch?
From a customer's perspective, don't change a thing. Also I wanted to send in a compliment for this local place but it seems that it just dumps me into the support page but the page is broken and refuses to load. Oh well. Here's a Reddit post.
Yeah these are legendary, I would post a picture but they are long gone. Don't sleep on these.
Why does BK use DoorDash as a 3rd party when delivering in-app orders?
I used to use DoorDash to order BK (quite often, I’m ashamed to admit) and I kept seeing ads on the bag claiming I would save money if I just order from the BK app.
So, I gave it a go. Suddenly, I get a call from my “DoorDash driver” asking me where to deliver it.
I did end up paying a tip for the delivery, but I have to wonder how BK makes money on this if it’s essentially the same as DD. I did end up saving about 10 dollars compared to DoorDash though.
Ordered from BK for the first time in a long time last night because I was just craving a whopper.
Since they have very few good offers on the app anymore, I did the double whopper & small fry offer that is always on there.
Now, I get this one occasionally and always add extra ketchup on the whopper because it's just better that way.
Well- that wasn't even an option in the customize menu- condiments were either yes or no, no extra or light anything.
I used to grab BK almost every time I went out for lunch, nowadays I have gone there twice in the past 3-ish months. Everything's too expensive and their in-app offers suck compared to McDonald's and Wendy's. Kind of a shame. Sorry, rambling over.
Nostalgic food enthusiast here reaching out once again into the ether to hopefully pull in someone who worked at BK in the 90’s/00’s to ask a question about the old tenders, oval or crown. When you cooked them and they came out of the fryer fresh, were they mostly crispy or mostly tender? I only remember them being soft and tender but everytime I fry chicken the breading is always crispy. Is it because they most likely sat in a drawer for several hours? I just don’t think I remember having a truly crisp tender back then.
Just was looking to order something and on the tab with 12 ct chicken fries it states its calories can be between 340-1750. What is the variables that make it that large of a jump in calories?
