I grew up in Houston, but now live in Chicago and am still a diehard Texans fan!
I've heard stories on the national news the past few days about the Houston storms. Things sound CRAZY. My brother who is still in Houston told me he hasn't seen wind this bad since Hurricane Ike.
From one Texans fan to another, I hope y'all are okay, safe, and with power!
Texans Fan from Cali, been wanting to go for a minute and no better time than now. Just wanted to see if anybody had any recommendations for places to eat, things to do, and just how to navigate going to and from a Texans game in regards to tailgating and traveling to the stadium. If anybody is going and want to connect as well let me know!
A pretty complete list of all 2023-24 Texans players who are now elsewhere, or still in free agency. Any that you missed? Someone you wish we brought back? Someone you still hope to bring back?
Well, its Friday.
What are your plans for the weekend?
Going anywhere interesting?
Yardwork?
Have a new restaurant you are dying to try?
Talk about anything and everything.
I’ve lived here my whole life and seen my share of nuts storms. But that was one of the wildest things, never seen a tornado just rip down I10 east toward downtown like this, and that “train whistle” sound and the pressure you feel inside a building… it’s no joke.
Havent been able to go outside to assess any damage with the power out and i don’t know if i can buzz back into my building without it, but we’ve been through a lot worse. Trees and power lines may be down, but hype stays up!!
“Last years Texans had the most injured line not in the league but since they started tracking it.”
Cj Stroud is athletic Tom Brady and is already on par with year 3 Brady.
Edit. I am not comparing cj to Brady career wise. I'm saying to me he looks like if 2003 Brady suddenly had athleticism.
Under armour just released these, doesn't get more perfect. They got the colors but even the bull, yes please
Is there a way to buy tickets to the game in Jacksonville from the Texans? Doesn’t the visiting team get tickets to sell or something for the fans to be together? Or is it only college and getting them mixed up?
Earlier this year (I think) we hit 100k members on this subreddit. Not much later and we’re nearly at 140k. It’s crazy to think that we went from being the shitshow of the nfl to being a premier bandwagon team in the span of a season.
Worth noting the SoS Rank is based on the opponent's win % from the previous season while SoS is based on a team's point differential and SoS during the course of the season.
The 2018 & 2019 Texans look a lot like the 2023 & 2024 Texans from a SoS standpoint, although the reason the defense seemingly fell off a cliff in 2019 was because JJ Watt missed half the season.
2012 seems like the clear cut best Texans team in franchise history that started 11-1 before the wheels came off and they ended 12-4 just to lose to the Patriots in the divisional.
Where will the 2024 Texans rank for the season and does it have the chance to eclipse those 2012 Texans as the best team in franchise history?
How do the roster and coaching stack up comparatively to those other Texans' teams?
I know I saw some of y’all talking about it last week? Would y’all mind sharing images/ recommendations?
Edit: yeah, New Jersey lol, I’m on mobile, my bad. I can’t edit the title.
Or hope we sign a free agent like Nelson or Gilmore to secure the secondary? Want to note Jeff has been injured more than stingley but can possibly play at a really high level.
Don’t know If it’s already been picked up but did anyone notice we play the chiefs the 21st then the ravens the 25th… a 3 day break in between games is brutal
So I've read a few posts and from what I gather, the majority of the tickets are already owned by season ticket holders, is that right? And Ticketmaster has already released the stock that is available for sale through the Texans? I've been to one game before, but the tickets were a gift from my husband so I have no idea what the process is. I'm just really bummed that it seems like tickets are less and less accessible. But it's like that with most teams, I guess.
I live in Jacksonville, and I want to buy a ticket to the game but also sit with the H-Town crew. I've been twice before, and I saw a whole section of mostly Texans fans.
I’m so excited to see my team, got tickets to the chiefs game section 302 row 32 seat 20! I’ve literally been waiting for this moment, been to several chiefs games but never got to see my H-town boys! Cj and will along with tank, Nico, stefon… damnit I’m hyped!!!
Is there a designated Texans bar in Dallas? F those AT&T prices! Just want to watch CJ crush the cowboys with others Texans fans!
