I've been more open to make a trade lately. Reed sadly hasn't shown enough promise and Cam is starting to get on my nerves a bit with his body language and attitude. Tari is good for energy but we already have Amen who does the same thing. Those are the 3 players I won't be devastated if we move on from. I'm still strongly against a trade and would be more than happy to just keep them.
Still, I wouldn't be against a trade unless it's a fleece for the Rockets.
Devin Booker does not move the needle for me. Trae Young however does. Elite shooter and passer. Top 3 most clutch players in the league (by eye test). Biggest "F*** your record, Im winning this sh×t" attitude in the league. Trae owns the Cavs, Knicks, Bucks and many other franchises in this league. There is a reason people hate him, he kills their team amd laughs in their face.
Trae Young is the best fit to join this team and I believe he is gettable of the Hawks keep falling.
My other ideal scenario is.
KD gets traded to the Warriors for a bunch of picks.
Suns fall top 4 in the draft this year.
After the draft, we trade the remaining Suns picks we have for the Warriors picks.
We begin the cycle again and watch the downfall of the Warriors.
Seen some reports about this. Me personally I would wait it out and try to get Booker in a year or two
We’ve come such a long way 🥹🥹
Tari Eason is out due to left lower leg injury management. Jock Landale is listed Questionable

Hey guys, Suns fan here, you guys want kd for reed Sheppard, van fleet and one of amen, Jalen, or segun or is that a delusional suns fan dream of a trade?
Without him getting double or triple teamed, the scoring options of the other players becomes very limited. Sengun fully deserves his All Star selection.
Pelicans get -Cam whitmore -Reed Sheppard -Steven Adams -Jaesean Tate -2 first rounders (1 being the extremely valuable Dallas 2029 pick)
Rockets get -Zion
Who says no?
Reading right now that the pelicans are getting lowballed af from other teams. Ie warriors are offering wiggins + their 2025 and 2027 picks. I daresay Reed and Cam are way better future talents than Wigs. Plus the draft picks from HOU are arguably better.
Slam Whitmore was great last night and I think hes proving he deserves more minutes the only thing thats scaring me is that hes kinda like jalen green in the sense that when hes on hes on. Also his hair was fire we have a very handsome lineup
I keep seeing we don't have a closer agreement and I also see a lot of we collapse at 4 (which is true)
Eye test was saying we do collapse at the first half of 4 where Alpi sits and then he comes back when the team is cold. So I went to check some stats.
I would appreciate if someone gets it more detailed because I am bad at finding these but:
Currently our leading scorer during clutch time is Green with 61 points in 27 games. Alpi has 2 less due to injury so 56 points in 25. However, Green is shooting 32.7% during clutch and 26% from 3. He also has 13 turnovers to 8 assists. Still has a +22.
Alpi fg is also not great 43.2% with 0/3 from 3. Where he shines tho 11 assists to 6 tov (still not great) and 9 offensive rebounds during clutch time. And he is +48 during the clutch times as well. so near +2 during the close games. In all NBA he ranks 2nd in clutch time +/- only behind Garland. Actually entire top 10 is cleveland starting line up + Boston line up and random buddy hield with Alpi at 2nd.
So this at least kinda proves that whatever my suspicion was correct. We do have a closer, we do have a steady presence. We do collapse but it happens while Alpi sits. We recover when he comes back.
Jabari 100% needs to remain a starter. The Grizzlies game was proof of that. We got absolutely torched by Jaren Jackson Jr. We’ve been missing Jabari’s defensive presence and versatility, and it really showed.
With him back, the question becomes - who moves to the bench? Honestly, it’s probably gotta be Fred. He’s older, slower and I doubt Stone will sign his team-option. He can still play a key role off the bench, especially leading the second unit with Tari and Cam.
I really just want to see the young guys hoop. Give Amen, Jalen, and Sengun the keys to the offense. I truly believe they’re our future and have the potential to lead us to contention in the near future. Amen and Jalen need more time on the floor together to develop their chemistry. Amen might not be a traditional pg, but where else is he gonna play? His shooting isn’t there yet, but he’s been making smart decisions when running the offense. Plus, his alien-like athleticism combined with Jalen’s could give us the most explosive backcourt in the NBA. Just let these guys play free and make the occasional mistakes... They will learn and figure it out through experience.
I’m beyond excited for the future. We might not win the title this season, but if we build around those three, contention is right around the corner.
Hey everyone,
i'm trying to get my hands on a Alpi jersey for a while now, but i have come empty handed as i want his real name instead of just "Sengun". I copy pasted his name into the little box but kinda afraid it'll just go back to "Sengun" because they might not print the umlaut and turkish s.
Any idea if this works: https://imgur.com/IudH6yv ?
Any help or insight is appreciated.
If the Rockets could get either of them for a reasonable price (fred, reed, few picks) which one would we rather have and which would fit better?
I'm a huge Trae fan and would love him on the Rockets but idk if we could survive on defense with him and Sengun but with Amen, tari and Brooks it's possible. Lamelo's constant injuries would be concerning
Can trade Tate, Jock, Jeff, and Holiday to Por/Bulls along with some second round picks to round out our bench for playoffs.
I know the injury history but is crazy but Lonzo is an expiring and Rob only has 1 year left (in theory Adams replacement next year).
Lonzo has turned himself into a solid catch and shoot threat, who can give us backup PG play at high level. He knows out to get the break going and can get us easy buckets in transition with his passing.
Rob gives us a legit rim protector and shot blocker, with a lob threat ability.
Just watched the suns lose to the trailblazers when booker couldn’t hit his clutch FT’s (something Jalen green coincidentally has the highest percentage in the league in) I think their pick this year might still be decent. I relish in every suns loss and looking over at their subreddits game thread. We are looking good.
Last post and ill stfu, L got me salty lol. Watching this game from start to end differently was SOUR. Disregarding the disrespect we get from the refs, we have no …
Funny enough we’ve lost games by +10 only FOUR times. But this is a recipe to get swept first round. Can’t have competent rotations with these being the issues at hand. Untouchables at this point should be Goon, Cam, and Amen. Maybe Tari but that IQ makes me sick. Also I need that top 3 defense back expeditiously.
Idk how but we only need some prototypes of Quentin Grimes, Mitchell Robinson, Booker/ Ant Edwards. Get 2/4 and we probably have the same record as the Thunder.
We have found our true #2. Most Improved Player. Hope for the best for you kid 🙏🏾
With Fred week to week, and a tough few games against Dallas and Minnesota coming up we NEED him.
