What happened before moon cradle(Vol 19)? And where can i read it?
is there anywhere to get high res images of the splash art throughout the episodes? thanks!!
Kirigaya Kazuto has finished Sword Art Online today, November 11th 2024 at 2:55pm. I haven't seen nobody post about it yet so decided i should. i've been rewatching season 1 lately and i ended on ep 14 the same day the game finished. when i realized it was today i was just speechless. like what are the odds lol
So, I've just finished watching all SAO main anime content roughly a month ago and have been both lurking around here and taking a look at the old posts here since then, and finally wanted to share my opinions now:
By the way, I might or might not be able to get back to you as it's my midterm week, just saying if you decide to leave a comment. As I said, I just wanted to get my thoughts out.
The main theme of SAO being the real world and the digital world essentially merging in terms of social relationships between people were quite interesting for me, and also made me instantly think about another franchise I enjoy quite a lot which deals with a similar topic to some extent; but the themes of these two franchises weren't too connected at first, so I thought nothing of it. But then the Underworld arc kicked in and connections became quite stronger, and I thought I was going to get more of something I enjoyed a lot:
Look, I've seen it getting ridiculed here in the old posts in this subreddit but I wanna state my opinion regardless; I think the plot at least not having a branch that questions the reality of the "real world" is a missed opportunity in the Alicization arc. It could have been very interesting to see characters questioning that and maybe even figuring "some things" out, but it's essentially instantly concluded that the "real world" is "real", which was quite disappointing.
Don't get me wrong, I think Alicization Arc(as a whole) is the second best arc of the SAO only behind The Aincrad Arc, but I was disappointed with what I'm talking about quite a lot; especially after it looked as if the plot might diverge there.
By the way, just a side note: If you want to get into something with, to some extent, a similar to theme of SAO but don't know where to look; I would like to drop a hint for those who have watched the most popular entry of the franchise I was talking about, in the hopes that those who have no idea about what I'm talking about don't get spoiled: 1.048596
Anyways, thanks for reading.
They in french (i'm french lol) but i got like all of these bundle for 15€ total so i'm pretty happy
S1, EP 15 starts around 10:37 what is the song playing? I’ve searched everywhere but I can’t seem to find it
If you could help it would mean a lot ❤️
To celebrate the day Kirito beat SAO, I've rewatched the entire series and I've been confused about what Higa said while talking to Kirito's Fluctlight.
So if you remember, he was saying that Kirito's fluctlight meeting Kayaba, Akihiko's fluctlight is like: " Opening Pandora's box."
So my question is, what does he mean by that, and what would actually happen if their fluctlights met?
Hello All!
I want to give a small introduction. My name is Runner, I've been a writer for as long as I have been a SAO fan, which was since I was 10. However, it's only been recent that I actually sat down and created a character and a story for them to reside in. And this post is about that story.
I wanted to share it with you all, as I think you would enjoy it! However it is still a work in progress, and is constantly updated (whenever I have time, life sucks sometimes).
Below is an important notes, followed by the link to the story. It's free and on Archive of Our Own.
Disclaimer: The story also deals with some quite dark themes, I haven't fully dove into that pool, but it will progressively get darker and darker. This isn't a happy story. If you aren't comfortable with themes such as Depression, Self Harm, Trauma, and other themes that relate to these, please do not read this story.
Sonata of the Hollows - A Sword Art Online Story
I want to thank you in advance if you do take the time to read it. If you could, please leave a comment on the story, if you think anything needs to be tweaked, or maybe if something didn't make sense. Please be constructive with your questions and criticism.
Have a wonderful day/night all! And once more, thank you.
(I also hope I did the spoiler thing correctly, there was nothing in the FAQs or Wiki about it, I apologize in advanced if anything is incorrect.)
This is more a question for people who have played the game.
I’m trying to 100% trophy the game. However Hexe hasn’t appeared. I’ve finished the story and done a few sudden quests. Nothing.
Is there an actual way to get her to appear or should I just go New Game+ see if that works?
I can't take it anymore. I just fucking can't. That cliffhanger all those years ago is like a goddamn tumor in my head, I MUST KNOW
(referring to Aincrad)
The Admin herself on a 2015 Lamborghini Aventador SV, since I think the car fits her personality and style to a T. Criticism is allowed.
I have no experience with ANY SAO universe. I don't know characters, plots, timelines.. nothing.
I thought the gameplay of Fatal Bullet looked fun before and just saw it on sale in Switch. Is it possible to go in blind and not be lost?
I know the game and anime universe are separate, but knowing nothing about either, that doesn't mean much to me about new vs old characters, changed between them.
Just wondering
The truth is that I love how they emphasize how pathetic Sugou is, how this great threat finally reveals the real Sugou, a pathetic being who will always live under Kayaba's shadow, I love the phrase "You're not the King of Fairies, you're the King of Thieves. "You are not the King of Fairies, You are the King of Thieves" Because it represents the rat that he is as all his achievements are just for stealing Kayaba's achievements, Sugou will always live under Kayaba's shadow, That Kirito saves Kayaba and manages to beat him using his Administrator privileges represents that, this is not Kirito's victory over Sugou, it's another defeat of Sugou against Kayaba.

Honestly don’t really have much more to add, just wanted to with people who would understand haha. SAO was the first anime I ever really got into, and 10 years later it’s still my absolute favorite.
P.S. For anyone who hasn’t gotten around to watching the progressive movies you should! They’re obviously no replacement for the LNs if you want the full story, but just seeing Aincard in the new art style is 100% worth it.
I’ve been a fan of SAO for years it’s my 2nd favourite anime (tied with Mushoku though). I finally started listening to the audiobook of the light novel (love how Bryce Papenbrook himself is the one reading it) I’m up to chapter 5 and it completely skips over the whole first level raid, being labeled a Beater to take the heat off the beta testers, meeting of Asuna and Sachi and gos straight onto the ragu rabbit scene, am I missing something?!
This is for anyone who doesn't truely understand what was going on with Suguha, throughout the first season.
