Hi, I’m a new fan to sum 41, I have only really listened to the 2 most popular of the songs, fat lip, and still waiting, but I really like sum 41 because it gives a similar vibe to blink 182 and other bands I enjoy, could you guys recommend me some good songs to listen to
I can't believe this came up when I googled AKNF
My dad and I are on the way home from a trip and I played In Too Deep, he told me he thought it was a Weezer song. I’m a big fan of Weezer as well as Sum 41, so I could kinda understand why. But Rivers sounds nothing like Deryck lol
Was gonna try and find a friend to go with but now i’m just gonna get 1 pit ticket for myself. I have 2 seats in section 6 row 19 (the empty seats in the circle in the photo).
Asking for $70 each total (they’re $82 each in that row now on ticketmaster) but DM and we can find a number that works! We can go through paypal goods & services, and i can send receipt for proof.
I saw a video on social media the other day of Mike Shinoda performing Linkin Park songs with Sum 41 where Deryck was singing all of Chester’s parts and doing a hell of a job with it. It’s no secret that Linkin Park is looking to get back to it with a new vocalist. With the timing of Sum 41 ending, does anyone think this is a possibility?
We didn’t meet the band but those of us who waited till the bitter end got some cool guitar picks from Deryck’s guitar tech!!
I absolutely love this song and I’m throughly happy I got to see it live!
It’s number 32 now here’s the situation
My buddy is thinking about going to see them with me but he's not fully convinced. I've never seen sum 41 live before, and they're playing near me in September. I don't want to see them alone, but I will if I have to. How can I convince my friend into going with me?
Sup everyone. I hope you've all been having dope weekends and are ready to have a great time tonight. Just trying to see what everyone plans to do after the show. I've heard some good things about East Atlanta Village, especially the Flatiron bar. Really needing some good ideas and options. All feedback will be hella appreciated 🙏🏾
I want to meet new people since I couldn't bring a friend with me. Doesn't have to be anything serious, it could be just saying hi or moshing/chilling together for a few minutes.
I hope everyone is having a splendid day. :3
Does anyone know the tuning on this one? I have seen some cover it in Drop C# and E Standard but curious if anyone knows what the record is tuned to. Thanks!
Does anyone know what the background voices are sampled from or what they are saying? I’ve listened to this song so many times since I was kid and those distant voices always seemed haunting when paired with how melancholy the song is.
This variant looks so nice
Was thinking about that today. Used to have news and a forum and whatnot. Anyone from here ever go on that place? Wonder what happened to it. Website just leads to a blank screen.
So after relistening to a few of the lower ranked albums and Heaven X Hell, here’s the updated tier list. Bloody Murder and Underclass have grown on me in recent listen, and while I still enjoy these two albums Heaven X Hell and Half Hour have gotten a little worse. I still stand by the fact that Sum 41 is a band with no bad albums/albums I dislike. With that said tell me what you guys think
Hello sum41 Reddit! I don’t normally post a whole lot on Reddit in general, but I’ve got a question pertaining to sum41 I’m hoping some of you might be able to answer
A friend and myself are planning to go to the sum41 show in Atlanta tomorrow, but we don’t have a set ride to take us back home after (I can’t drive for medical reasons, and my other friend has a giant truck that might be hard to maneuver around Atlanta, so we’ve got a third party friend that’s going to act as our “chauffeur”).
We’ve been trying to figure out how long the show typically lasts to give information to our driver, because we’ve only been able to give them the time the show starts and when we want to get there, but absolutely nothing on when the show is roughly going to end. Neither of us have been able to find anything online about the typical length of one of their shows, and neither of us have ever been to one of their shows before, so we’re kind of left with no clue what we’re doing lol. We really want to go and we’ve got our tickets, but we also don’t want to get stuck in Atlanta by ourselves for a while waiting on our ride late at night
I’m sure some of you on here have probably been to one of their shows before, so if it’s not too much trouble, would any of you be able to give us a rough estimate of how long a sum41 show lasts? Anything at all would be deeply appreciated!!
I was up front the whole time. What a great show.
