i'm traveling to Geneva from Finland specially for their show. I don't really know anything about the venue, location, getting there and any place to go after the gig. I have a few questions thought i'd ask here:

- how's the gig etiquette on punk concerts. I love mosh pits and going crowd surfing and while the first i guess is very common, the second might be an issue in some countries. For example, when i saw the Sums live last time in Finland the security guard tried to kick me out for crowd surfing, even thou every one around me and all the way to the stage was alright with it, i asked.

- what's the queuing like when the doors are open? does it take long to get the thousands of people in? and once you're in is it mandatory to put check your coat in?

- and if there are any people from the sub going to that concert, would be awesome to hangout before (and maybe after) the gig, as standing in the line alone is kinda boring, and none of my friends are willing to travel this far for a gig.

I got a silver bundle ticket to the show in Vienna because all the other standing tickets were sold out. As far as I saw from the venue plan, the standing area is separated into two different sections, a smaller one up front should be for gold/silver ticket holders?

Can somebody who's been to a show confirm this?

I just finished his book. Thought it was great. Really shinned an new light and feeling to all their songs. Even some I didn't care for much while I was younger.

Made me want to try and build a playlist of bands/songs to get into a similar state of mind when he writes music. Off the bat I'm remembering he mentioned the Monkees, The Rolling Stones, Nirvana, AC/DC.

I'll have to reread to find those parts again, but seeing if anyone else remembers other bands he has mentioned growing up to or inspiring him.

They played ~2 songs and then house lights came on and stayed on for about 7 mins while it seemed something happened in the crowd at the front (we were sat near the back) but guessing quite serious. Hope they were ok.

Also, we had to leave early and were searched by security as a number of people had their phones nicked. Were you affected?
