is not necessary that this is your fav or the one you think is better then the others, but what is the album you got more memories with? and what do you feel when listen to it respect to the others?

Dookie is my favorite album with Kerplunk at a close second but I have to say that Nimrod is their best album. The pacing on this album compared to Insomniac is SO much better with lots of heavier songs that could be on Insomniac mixed with melodic and experimental tracks. Despite me loving Insomniac, most of the songs sound quite similar to each other with how they’re played (the strumming pattern) and the song type. That generally makes the album less listenable for me. Nimrod on the other hand I believe has the best song structure and lyrics I’ve ever heard from the band. I think that the stories that he tells with each song and the experimentation with so many (last ride in, good riddance, and even hitchin a ride) really separate this album from the rest. I think some may argue that American Idiot has the best lyrics or even song structure because it’s considered their ‘Magnum Opus’ but there are a few songs lyrically I can’t get past (extraordinary girl being one to name). As for production, all of Green Day albums past Kerplunk sound extremely sonically good, but I have to appreciate that Nimrod doesn’t sound too modern and still makes them sound heavy with how muddy some of the tones throughout the album sound. Despite all this there really isn’t a Green Day album I dislike, they’ve been my favorite band since I was 12 and I love them to death. Let me know what you guys think!

Hi I’ve been wanting to get the guitar tone Billie used on insomniac and I was wondering if anyone knew his entire setup, the exact mods and pickups he had on blue when recording, what pedals, what amps and the settings he used. Anything on how I can get exactly what his tone was. I’ve been trying to go off from how it sounds on Jaded #insomniac

Happy Monday! Has anybody seen this book? My secret Santa and work got it for me so I was flipping through it to see what it was about and there’s a chapter on the “infamous iHeartRadio incident.” I assumed it would be about Billie Joe’s meltdown but it just talks about how there was a power outage at the venue and the crowd started to sing the songs with the band. It says after the power was restored, “the rest of the performance went off without a hitch.” Is there another iHeartRadio performance that I’m not aware of? I know it’s a book for children but it doesn’t mention his meltdown at all in the chapter. It does get brought up in the introduction, though

Has anyone gotten any updates about the tour patches on their store site shipping? I saw it was supposed to release over a week ago now but I haven't heard anything about when it's actually supposed to ship. I was hoping to have them to give to my concert crew for Christmas, but I also know in the past their orders have been painfully slow. Just was curious if anyone else has gotten anything yet

Dookie was difficult to come up with something, so it's not that great. I was thinking blue for the sky, the white bumpers and triggers for the clouds and the "nocturnal green" since they didn't have brown.

I would've made an Elite for ¡Dos! but they don't have that clear orange shell yet. When they do, it'll be made!

Father of All was just taking the back shell and triggers for American Idiot then try adding as many different colors as possible because of the rainbow puke from Horny.

I think I'll end up getting one of these. Maybe Warning or American Idiot. Tough to choose lol.

I decided to give it a fair shot cuz it's always been my second least favorite Green Day album but opinions can change. Why is Billie so overtly sexual ?? Like he's so down bad on Dos it's almost comical 😭. To my knowledge he hasn't really done anything like this on any other Green Day albums. Was there a reason he did that?
