FALL OUT BOY FOR FOREVER 🤘 i’m absolutely in love with it, my artist did amazing!!!!!✨
I got it at 18, I'm now nearing 29. The paw print is unrelated (about 6 years old). I kind of regret placing them so close together because people now assume they go together somehow :')
I'm turning 41 in a week and a half and I live in the middle of nowhere and my husband hates concerts and FOB (I know but trust me he's a keeper). I see all of your happy posts and it makes me wish I was still young and could do cool stuff. I remember my first FOB concert was when Infinity on High came out and to date it's the best show I've ever been to.
Any other old people like myself who still can't get enough of the line "I only want sympathy in the form of you crawling into bed with me"? (That line got me into FOB when Dance, Dance first came out)
if this is your car, i salute you for spreading the good word 🫡 all the love for folie!!
Hi!! Opinions desired!! What Fall Out Boy songs do you each think would fit well into a Scooby Doo episode??? If you're a Scooby Doo fanatic, please add what series your choice would fit in! (Seeing as the music stylings evolve a bit through the generations of series ) (Also posting in r/scoobydoo)
So at our school at the end of the year we have this thing with inflatables and stuff, it’s really fun honestly. But near the end, they let kids sing karaoke. So I decided to go up there and sing Dance, Dance. And oh my god I felt so nervous but with everyone clapping and cheering at the end i didn’t feel as bad anymore!
i like infinity on high and i wanna get a tattoo of it soon (any suggestions would also be appreciated)
So I've made a post about this before but I get to sing a fall out boy song at my prom but I'm not sure what to do. I really wanted to do dance dance but some of the lyrics aren't exactly something I could get away with at a high school prom so I'm looking for suggestions that dont have suggestive lyrics
Every song playing is literally a great song you wanna sing as loud as you can or blast The playlist is such a great mix spanning all 8 of the current fall out boy albums.
This is really difficult for me to make myself as I get fixated on specific few songs I listen to all the time, and forget the others and get bored of listening to fob.
I especially love it myself as it has a nice balance of songs I listen to all the time as well as those that I love that I don’t listen to as often.
Just wanna say great job Shane Richardson & r/FallOutBoy !!
I burned my fingers a LOTTT
This is the only still I have of the interview but I want to watch it in full. Anyone got any ideas? Maybe a link to the interview in question? #redditchallenge
THANKS MOM :D
First of all sorry if the question comes off as stupid because english is not my first language, so i'm not sure if that expression can have those 2 (pretty much opposite) meanings.\
The meaning of the lyric would be pretty much the same: having faith doesn't really change the results. But the tone does change. If by "pay-off" they mean "cost" it's like "have hope anyway, the worst thing that could happen is that you get dissapointed". But if they meant "reward" it's like "sometimes all you earn by having hope os frustration"
I was absolutely blown away today in my psychology class when we were learning about a scientist named Ivan Pavlov who made discoveries about classic conditioning. The song title has always been a total mystery to me of why tf it’s called that and the answer just fell in my lap today and now the whole song makes so much sense. I’m amazed by the ingenious way they do everything they do.
It’s almost my bfs birthday and he loves loves fall out boy so much. ngl I know nothing about this band but I know there’s like cool merch and and like references to stuff like the bingo hat and stuff. So basically I wanted to know if there’s any official or non official merch that would be cool to get him.
PLEASE SEND ME LINKS OR SOMETHING.
In 1998 country artist Mark Wills released a song called “Wish You Were Here”.
In the song a man leaves on a business trip, but his plane crashes and he dies. However his wife gets postcards from her husband that says “Wish You Were Here”. So he was sending postcard from a plane crash. (Assuming he mailed them out before he hopped on the plane due to him not having time)
So in TTTYG Fall Out Boy has a song called “Sending Postcards From a Plane Crash(Wish You Were Here)”.
Speaking of song titles only, is this a reference to the Mark Wills song or a coincidence? For the past 15 years, I’ve always wondered, but no one else seems to notice the connection…
i redrew folie à deux’s album with myself and my fursona (very cringe, i know lol) 🥺
i think my favorite song from this album is either tiffany blews, headfirst slide, west coast smoker or pavlove!
it’s safe to say this is probably my fav album other than infinity on high (which i also plan on redrawing 👀)
or if it was too good to be true that i found this at a reasonable price on ebay?
Hi everyone! This is something I've wanted to do for a long time and only really feel comfortable enough with charting now to actually attempt it. And before I say anything else, I am 100% making zero promises towards this getting finished. I'm doing this all on my own and I don't have a lot of free time, but I will do my best!
Either way, what I want to make is a custom chart pack for Clone Hero basically acting as if they made a "Guitar Hero: Fall Out Boy" game. My goal is to stick to the pre-hiatus music for Fall Out Boy as well as incorporating the bands that were also popular / similar genre around that same time (Paramore's first three albums, MCR, Panic! up to Vices and Virtues, etc). And as the title says, I am looking for suggestions! I started with the tracklist to Believers Never Die - Greatest Hits: Volume 1 and want to add a few more songs from each of the four albums from Fall Out Boy. If anyone has any songs they want charted or think would be a good fit for this idea, comment it! I am also going to include some of the single tracks that weren't really on any album like Lake Effect Kid (yes, I know it officially came out with MANIA but it was originally a Folie track so it counts) and others like From Now On We Are Enemies. Stuff like that. I also don't want to only focus on the tracks that were extremely popular. I'm going to include stuff like Dance, Dance obviously, but tracks like I've Got A Dark Alley are more interesting to me since it's less overplayed and honestly more impactful (I love Dance, Dance with my whole heart don't get me wrong).
Anyways, thanks for reading and I'm excited to see what y'all want!
EDIT: Here's the current tracklist for the chart pack! I will update it as I go :] (Only showing the FOB side rn)
EDIT 2: Unless y'all have some like deep cuts that weren't on the main albums, I think we're good song wise! Thank you everyone for the help because it actually feels like a good list rather than just what I think should be on there, lol. :]
EDIT: never mind, this was real!! Literally just tried searching this subreddit after posting lol . They’re just very rare !
I can’t tell if my brain made this up or I misremembered- do physical copies of the Llamania EP exist?
I have a memory of FOB having a mysterious sign-up on their site during the MANIA era, and sending randomly selected people copies of said EP . but I can’t find any evidence of this online?? did I misremember and this was only a digital release?
I wanted to try and buy one for collectors purposes but it looks like my brain may have made this all up
