A Subreddit for sharing old and new Skatepunk music and other general discussion!
Skatepunk of all types welcome here! I was surprised there wasn't already a Subreddit for Skatepunk, so here it is!
Skatepunk is often characterized by extremely fast drum patterns, syncopated guitar and bass rhythms, and vocal harmonies. Some notable modern examples include: NOFX, Lagwagon, Pennywise, and Propagandhi.
I'm bad at modding, so if you want to help out, send me a PM.

Killer new skate punk record from Pennywise frontman Jim Lindberg's side project - The band's first album in over 14 years and it's serving up classic Pennywise Cali hardcore with some extra touches. Some of Jim's best songwriting to date and mixed/mastered by Paul Miner (H20, Thrice, Touche Amore, Death By Stereo). Absolutely worth a spin for fans of classic, catchy, all killer, no filler skate punk.

So long and thanks for all the good memories if true.
Looking for book recommendations, biographies, record labels whatever, anything to do with skatepunk. I've already read the NOFX book and Sell Out.
I have been looking into bands around the world for their take on punk rock, metal and hardcore. In this video I'm looking into the Korean punk scene. These bands play skate punk and Pogo punk. If there are other band not on this list let me know!!
Who's heading out to see Strung Out and Adolescents TONIGHT at Brick by Brick? Doors open at 7PM, see you there!
Anyone want to check out the review I did on 30 foot fall the Doppler effect
I wanna give a shoutout to this podcast. It鈥檚 basically interviews with members of the punk community and it covers a bunch of 90s skatepunk.
My favourite is Every Single Day
Just wondering if you would like to be in a compliation just comment on this post
What is your fave Millencolin aong?
Would you like one of your songs on a compliation? Give me some links and information on some of your bands songs and I will put it on my record labels next compliation. It will be on disocgs when I have enough artists
I love these guys. I'm going to catch them in Ottawa tomorrow night, then I'm off to the Ignite show.
Speedbump Sally are definitely a poppy, melodic, vocally driven good time. This isn't their strongest song, but it's their first video. They've got a bandcamp with the album. Worth a listen or 10. The singer/songwriter is a staple of the Canadian punk scene.
Any recommendations for bands like DK and Agent Orange?
Hey everyone, my name's Nick. I'm an mix engineer from Norway - I鈥檝e got some time in between projects, and am looking to help out more artists, make your music sound the best it can. Been a musician and played in bands for some years as well, if that's a concern. Well experienced with guitar heavy music.
I work mostly with the rock genres, like pop rock, indie rock, pop punk, punk & metal.
Here's a couple mixes I did recently for a band:
