good emo/skram music from the early 90's to the present!
Screamo/skramz is an aggressive offshoot of Emo characterized by yelled or screamed vocals and dissonant, twinkly guitar work. Screamo bands usually shy away from conventional song structures often play around with loud/soft dynamics. Because screamo is often used as a catch all term for all genres with unclean vocals, many screamo fans refer to true screamo Skramz.

if anyone has or knows anyone that is selling thirty years war merch please tell mee i have been searching for a while and can’t find anything :(((
i've been loving this band Agna Moraine's Autobiography lately ( https://youtu.be/fwoFM7qxAEU?si=ndmLtashC4LjyhGf ) and was wondering there is any bands with a similar sound? i love their use of clean guitar and screaming mixed in with some scattered indie rock. I'm not really into screamo/hardcore that much but this style specifically scratches an itch in my brain. any help is appreciated :))
Who's heading out to see He Is Legend celebrating 20 years of "I Am Hollywood" THIS SUNDAY at Brick by Brick? Doors open at 7:00PM, see you there!
screamo band from denmark!!
I’ve been listening to them so much lately and with them having such an interesting sound I was wondering if they are as well remembered by others. Of all the bands I seen talked about here I don’t think they’ve been mentioned at least not what I’ve seen and that’s sad to me
Genuinely curious, I’m not a regular listener!
It's been a long time since I caught up with any new sceamo info. All I know from long time ago was the bassist was in Aussitot Mort
footage i took of them
Hi Ya'll, gonna be in Montreal for just under a week in June and was wondering if anyone could point me toward:
Any help is appreciated!
Needing to prove a point to my students so am looking for the best live footage of bands playing, stuff like: decent sound quality, super passionate/high energy band, hyped up crowd, singing along, etc.
Hi ya'll. Lmk if there is a better sub for this. Couldn't find a healthy diypunk sub.
My therapist asked me if I knew any examples of people who fucked up, were called in (as opposed to out), engaged with an accountability process, and were welcomed back into their community. That wasn't verbatim, but you get the idea.
I couldn't really think of anyone? I've been in diy for like 13 years at this point and it seems like most often the result of the callout is
the person gets ran off to another community and often repeats the behavior
the scene splits into two with half supporting the guilty and half supporting the victim
the person stays in town, due to poor mental health or financial instability. They go into defensive mode, abandon diy, and, Isolated from their resources either fall heavy into substance abuse, or severe mental illness.
If you're conscious of any recovery or redemption arcs please tell me about them, without names, and please describe the accountability process if you could.
Hello we are an Australian emo band and would love if you guys checked out our rough demos
Asian screamo bands from 3 different countries: US:WE [Taiwan], TNG [Philippines] and BENNU IS A HERON [China] have announced a Southeast Asian tour taking place this June.
Without a doubt, this can be described as a celebration of screamo kids. In the list, we see pioneers of over ten or even twenty years such as DAIGHILA and YUMI, as well as active advocates like PIRI REIS, NAEDR, and PIET ONTHEL. Additionally, there are diverse bands like BIRD., BRICKCITY, TIDAL, and LING, each with their own emotional style.
Every few years, SCREAMO experiences a so-called REVIVAL trend. Rather than calling it a revival, it's better to admit that this genre has never received much attention. However, judging by the intensity of recent reunions like ORCHID's after 20 years, you can't ignore its charm, which can only be experienced live. GO CHECK THE TICKETS.
