Damn. The Suns are deep. Sure there are some holes but the Suns are loaded with quality players.
Starters: Jones, Book, Beal, KD and Nurk
Say what you want about Nurk but he still is a solid rebounded and usually a good passer. Three absolute weapons on offense and a PG that rarely turns the ball over.
Royce and Dunn. Two very good wing defenders. Both can get hot from three. Gives us some physicality from the perimeter.
Allen. Sharpshooter. With his added strength he can even bully some guys at the rim or when defending.
Plumlee. Solid backup center
Morris. Solid back up point guard
That is 10 solid players who you can rely on. This is amazing depth. Last year the Suns only had 5 or 6 guys that were reliable. Having 10 guys is a massive improvement.
Last year guys like Bol Bol, Okogie, Eubanks and Little were playing significant minutes. The Suns had to rely on these guys. This year none of those guys would get minutes.
The Suns as of now have the best combination of high end star power and depth. There are teams with better depth but not nearly as good stars. There are other teams with a better #1 but lack depth.
If the Suns can somehow get a defensive center they will be the favorites to win the West. Literally just one piece away.
3 guard starting lineup is just not it. Beal was the only started in minus in plus minus with a -4. Dunn was a +5 off the bench despite scoring 0 points.
Dunn gives us size, athleticism, dynamism offball and defense. Beal is just redundant with Tyus and Book out there. Our defense is bad with those 3 out there it's too much to overcome. Tyus is our best floor general and passer, decision maker by far. He sets up everyone and makes the right play. We don't have to force Book or KD to try to do something they are not strong at as main playmakers they can just score out there. Beal doesn't give us that and his defense is inconsistent. 3 scorers starting is just dumb I know Bud sees this.
In addition to that Beal just plays much better with the bench when he's the main guy, gets in a groove much easier which can be useful for later where at the time he can be at his optimal role as the guy without having to worry about stepping on Book and KDs toes and overthinking. He always seems to have slow starts with Book and KD. Let him be 6th man, run the show when Tyus and Book sit with Grayson/Royce in. Run that lineup maybe later in the game but don't start it. Dunn HAS to start. He has to.
I guess this team will never able to fix these problems
I mean having bad shooting game happens to any team but as you saw in the 3rd quarter, we came roaring back making up for all the misses in the first half
However the lack of defensive hustle especially with securing the rebounds is absolutely pathetic. This doesn't look like we'll ever be able to address this issue with Nurkic in our team.
Secondly the turnovers. My god. And no the star players need to take some accountability. Booker average 2.6 turnovers last season and KD 3.
Today Booker almost threw the game away with careless turnover in the clutch. Like dude wtf? Not even an excuse, we had 3 players wide open on the other side of the court??
They really need to address this shit if we're to have any chance in the playoffs.
Anyone have a scarf from tonights game for sale?

Hey guys! SUPER HYPED how the boys have looked and gelled this season. Good feels up north here. But here's my dilemma. I live in north idaho. My family has lived in Phoenix my whole life. So I pay for the suns season league pass thing which is nice compared to football and baseball, I can buy just the team for a reasonable 90$ a season. But... for years I never had this problem til last season. I'm blacked out for blazers games since there is no Seattle team (hopefully soon) and sometimes blacked out form jazz games!!! It drives me crazy. I'm going to check before game time obviously if I can watch. But was wondering where else I could watch on the sly? I know I can watch on my laptop but any good recommendations for catching a victory and a good performance from ayton. Still like him, (I was at the valley oop) on a smart LG TV? Thanks for any help and go suns!!!
Going to my first suns game tonight, looking for a Booker hoodie in Phoenix.
Any recommendations appreciated!
Former Suns first-round pick Deandre Ayton returns to Phoenix, aiming to keep the Blazers from getting burned by his old team, Los Suns!
Vamos Suns!
PS: My first game this season. I'm hyped!
Much of our fanbase know Chambers as the guy who hosts the Suns' show with Tom Leander, but there is a lot more to this Suns' legend that I want to share.
1. First ever NBA Unrestricted Free Agent. Siigned a five year / $9M contract with the Suns in June 1988.

2. Proven NBA All-Star. Made it to the dance in 1987, 1989, 1990 and 1991. Named game MVP in 1987.
3. Elite Dunker for his era. Cemented his skills after "posterizing" Mark Jackson in 1989. This was considered to be one of the most icon moves of his time. His ability to use innovative methods to dunk the ball was impressive and ahead of his time.

4. Member of the 20K point club. Enough said.
5. Genuine good dude.

Was in the process of writting a descriptive appreciation post for Chambers, but my computer decided to reboot itself. Ugh! Anyhow, my earliest memories of him were from the early 90s when he played in the All-Star games. Seeing a Suns' jersey represented was exciting. Remember he played incredibly well around the rim and he had a sweet jump shot. Reference below.

Edit: One more thing, he ABSOLUTELY deserves to be in the Hall of Fame. Let's get him there!
