Married couple in our late 30s looking for a 1000+ sq ft apartment in the aforementioned areas. We are good tenants who pay on time, our credit scores are both 750+, no evictions, very quiet and clean people.
We're looking for a place that has some kind of natural light as where we live now is basically a dark hole that is untouched by the sun. We don't want to live underneath anyone unless the building is concrete and you can't really hear the people upstairs. We do like to cook so having a decent kitchen with pantry space is important to us.
Our budget caps out around $2200/month, and we're not opposed to big properties but would prefer a mom and pop landlord instead of some giant corporation.
This is an unintentionally phallic map of the area we're considering.
Friends are moving into my 3 bed/2 bath rowhome in Cobbs Creek and looking for roommate(s) to take over the other two bedrooms/bathroom. Perfect for couples or someone who wants a separate office/studio/workspace from their bedroom. Pet friendly on condition- Dm me for details!
Hi! I'm looking for sublet available Aug 1st (or mid-late July if possible). I make a very comfortable wage, no pets, and a good records with previous land lords. I'm interested in places in South Philly, but am not super picky! I'll be leaving for a teach abroad program next year so I just need a place to stay from August through early next year. If anyone is available, or knows anyone that is, that'd be very helpful!
Thank you!
Hey everyone, due to some personal circumstances I have to move by 8/1. If anyone is interested, feel free to PM and I can give you more info/forward their contact information and site.
The apartment is in west Philly, rent is 1200 and there’s a $70 flat rate water fee. Close to multiple bus routes and MFL station.
Selling two tickets $90 each.
Looking for someone to take over spare room when roommate leaves. July 1 or August 1 . Will update when roommate confirms Only 750 a month all utilities included Couple minutes out of Philly in upper Darby . Near 69th st transportation center .
Up to 6 tickets, up for grabs. Good through the end of summer.
Edit: Tickets have been claimed. I've sent a chat to some people.
Two beach cruisers that have been in storage for four years, not ridden at all. They're both in great shape. Probably need new inner tubes, maybe need new bike chains. A bike "tune-up" would have them on the road immediately. Firm price, not willing to split them up. They're in Chestnut Hill. You'll have to pick them up. DM if interested.
I'm going to be completely honest because I don't have anything to lose. I'm a stay at home mom to 4 kids. 2 of them do online school and 2 of them are babies. I'm also married. My husband is a carpenter and can quite literally build a house from the ground up. We live in Bensalem in a very small, quite expensive apartment. It might sound good but in reality we are struggling. My husband worked for a company that paid him well, but that company has shut down and we've kind of struggled ever since. Naturally we got behind on rent, and yesterday we received an eviction notice telling us we have court soon. We made horrible decisions to survive when we were younger and ruined our credit. We have 2 evictions. We couldn't even open a bank account until recently due to being blacklisted by Chex system. My husband gets paid in cash so we don't have proof of income. I know that's not ideal but that's how we survive. I know the odds are completely stacked against us. But if there's anyone willing to rent to us, we just need an opportunity to redeem ourselves and rebuild. I've emailed and called multiple places to no avail. Like I said, I know everything is stacked against us, I don't need anyone to tell me to make better decisions or to get a job myself. I've had horrific experiences with daycare and I don't have friends or family to depend on for child care or any other help for that matter. I don't need my past thrown in my face, I'm well aware of it and I can't escape from it no matter how much I pray. We just need a lifeline. We're from Philly, we'd like to get back there. If anyone can help at all, I don't care which part of Philly, I'd be truly grateful beyond words. Thanks for reading.

Hey y’all,
I recently graduated college and received a job offer in Philly.
I’m moving to Philly on July 1st, 2024 for the new job and urgently need a private bedroom/private bathroom {Max: $900/month} in a shared house.
I’ll be bringing my car with me so finding a place with easy street parking is also top of my priority.
Please let me know if y’all have anything available.
Thanks!
Looking to sell this all as a set. Everything is in great shape. Asking for $400. Includes gym flooring and plywood underneath if desired.
So many people live here! I just want to be alone occasionally. like, 1 day a month where I can be outside in nature without constantly running into people.
I recently got access to a car. Where so I go outside of philly to be alone?

Never thought to post on her😅. Anyone here know anybody renting out a house or apartment? Me, my fiancé & his brother are looking for a 2-3 bedroom, any bath. Not picky about the area. I’ve lived all around philly throughout my life. All three adults work. No pets, no children.
IKEA bookshelf, 2 drawers, 2 office chairs. Also queen bed and mattress (you have to transport, need alan wrench for disassembly). Leaving today
Hey all! I'm looking for a July/August apartment or sublet near Center City or in West Philly. My budget is 800-1000. I'm currently unemployed but still receiving UI and have savings that equal at least 3x yearly rent. I'm ideally looking for a private landlord who would be comfortable with that scenario. Please let me know if you have any leads.
Hi all, long sorry short is the ceiling of the third (occupied) bedroom has had a very obvious crack in it since about the beginning of December, and we're all about fed up. I've been refered to a local organization who's name I can't recall right now by a friend, but they only help low income people/families based on what I've seen. I am not necessarily looking for a lawyer at this point, more just looking for any resources on what I may be able to do before getting a lawyer actually becomes the best/only.
For some more context I'm pretty sure the roof has also sustained damage based on what the only roofers that came by said. Landlord has had aorementioned roofers come out exactly once at the beginning of this year iirc, and has only provided various non-solutions at times in the months since including but not limited to, too expensive, to needing to fix roof before celing (which has not been done to our knowledge) and mostly recently "I'll have something in a few days", at least a couple of weeks ago. We're just past the halfway mark on our two year lease, so while our time is winding down, my wife specifically cannot afford to live in a house that may be growing mold and I would like to have one thing done about it or another, sooner rather than later.
My mom passed away and I'm giving away her stuff. She listened to a lot adult contemporary, folk music, some classical and other similar stuff. It seems like a shame to throw it away and it's too much of a pain in the ass to try and sell it.

What we (fiancé and I) are looking for:
I know it’s a tall order but that’s why I’m posting. Sometimes putting it out there works.
Looking for a responsible roommate to share my bilevel, 2-bedroom apartment in Manayunk. It features a private entrance, an enclosed courtyard, hardwood floors, gas heat, and central air. The apartment boasts a huge, modern eat-in kitchen with stainless steel appliances and a washer/dryer. AVAILABLE AUGUST 1.
The place is a 2BR/1 BATH, & rent would be around $900 a month, close walk to train, shopping and Main St. Walk to Kelly Drive and the Wissahickon trail. Great for PCOM, Temple, Jefferson Med and Philadelphia University.
I'm a 29-year-old male, looking for someone who's chill, laid back, and considerate. Looking to move in as early as 8/1. If you are interested apply, or DM me, thanks!

Looking for a roommate or a sublet to become available for late July or August. I have stable income and employment, I’d ideally like a room/sublet for under $1500. I’m not sure a location as I’m not from Philadelphia, I’d just like a place that is safe and walkable.
Thanks in advance
Hello, I’m moving down to Philly by the end of August (though trying to go sooner than that) but would like a roommate to split costs with. My partner (27M) and I (23M) have two cats, both old and lazy now. One is a recent feral so can be a little testy with new cats, though warms quickly to the various animals we’ve had visit. Obviously Queer friendly is a requirement. He is disabled so isn’t working, though is able and willing to do much housework. Budget can be stretched up to 1200 all in all for me but would really prefer to keep it under 750xperson. Would like to stick to the south but I really don’t care that much to be perfectly honest. Transit connections just seem better in that area from my perusing and talking to friends from there. I like local music scenes, games tabletop or digital. Partner loves to cosplay. Both of us cook and bake regularly, pretty much entirely plant based due to his dietary restrictions but neither of us are strict vegans. I’d love to hang out and play some games one night before committing one way or the other.

Made in England version, in great shape other than a scuff on the toe that needs to be polished.
Pickup in south Philly or CC!
So I have been looking for room to rent and so far I have found a bunch of scams on Facebook. On the marketplace there I shall say. But I am in semi-desperate need of room to rent as soon as possible. I have a full-time job with proof of income. I have excellent references. I have what I would consider a decent personality. Most people that I meet seem to agree with that assessment. I am a quiet person. I just work a lot. I normally only have one day off a week. Domino's, I am hoping to find something in the $800 or less range. I know that's probably a long shot, but if anyone knows of anything or can point me in the right direction. I would be eternally grateful. Thank you very much.
