Do not act like your One True Paleo™ is the be-all, end-all and is perfect for for every human on Earth. You should really not use the words "you need" here, unless they're followed by something like "to talk to your doctor". It's very unlikely that you know what the person you're replying to needs, and pretending otherwise can be confusing for people new to this world.
Please report:
Spam, harassment, people generally being dicks (including people acting like their Paleo™ is "correct" and others are wrong), posts that aren't relevant to paleo/primal. That sort of thing.
Please don't report:
Posts you disagree with, posts you don't like, posts that don't fit your version of paleo or are
THE MOST IMPORTANT THING is don't be afraid to experiment. If something is working well for you, don't worry if it isn't "strict paleo," because there's no such thing. Paleo is more of a framework than a set of rules.
If you're posting something kinda gross (Some of us do talk about poop from time to time), feel free to TMI tag it. It'll end up like this: gross thing. Code example below.

Disclaimer: I did not use Paleo compliant baking powder in this video! Everything else is compliant. Adjust salt and herbs to your liking as well.
To make it fully compliant:
Paleo Baking Powder Recipe: (Makes about 1/4 cup)
2 Tbsp Cream of Tartar 1 Tbsp Baking Soda 1 Tbsp Tapioca Starch or arrowroot flour
Did adopting the paleo diet help for your chronic pain? If so, how long did it take before seeing any improvements?
Hg used to eat meat with calories/100g between 100 and 140.
It is obvious that you can t get enough fat with such source.
You can t get fat from nuts too because it is so disgusting it is obvious no hg was eating that.
Oil did not exist, let s be honest
So how do you get enough fat in these difficult time ?
Do you eat organ/marrow or what ?
I read i should go on lean meat to do the most like HG used to. So which meat to choose ? And what is the calories/100g that seem correct ? Because if i really go on lean meat it is like 95% protein and 5% fat. I can't understand where i can find my fat then, and don't tell me oil, HG probably never tasted any oil in their life. So what exactly is lean meat ? Which one do you personnaly prefer ?
Like is it safe ? Also is it good for health ? I would like to try the hadza diet
Of course i mean if one wants to reproduce what his ancestry used to eat
Following the fact that they are in various way descending from hunter gatherer from Europe, north eurasia and hunter gatherer from middle east ?
What would be the range in your opinion ?

I am eating fat chicken mostly like thighs, but i can t find the best way to cook it. I tried the stove, oven, even microwave. I just find the result disgusting.
Is it normal ?
By the way what kind of meat are you eating mostly ?
What do you do when your family wants to go to a restaurant that doesn’t have any paleo items on the menu?
Contains pea protein, organic cocoa powder, guar gum, natural flavors, organic stevia, salt, and monk fruit extract.
Hello,
I’m trying paleo again to clean up my diet but I’m dealing with serious low blood sugar spells now that I cut all the garbage. I’m around 120 pounds and do not gain or lose weight so my metabolism is super fast. How many carbs do you eat on this diet for those in a similar situation? For the record I’m seeing a Dr. soon to make sure the low blood sugar isn’t something serious.
What are the best sides instead of sweet potatoes?
I was paleo for years, had kids and started eating things I normally wouldn’t. I am ready to start eating well again. I felt AMAZING when I ate clean unprocessed foods. What are some your favorite meals?
I used to sauté veggies with plenty of butter, now that I don’t use butter since I’m sensitive to dairy I feel like my veggies are lacking, does anyone have any cooking recommendations or ways to spice veggies to make them better? Thanks for any help

For all of you who track macros and have carbs at 200g+ what all do you eat to hit that goal? I was AIP then switched to paleo and kind of burned myself out on sweet potatoes. I guess I could go back to plantains and cassava root, but wanted to see what others were doing. Thanks! :)
Sorry in my language bio means organic
So for a month and a half I was eating 4, to 8 oz of grassfed groundbeef a day. (93/7)
I started to eat this meal at night and began to notice that it was keeping me awake all night. It really messed up my sleep schedule very bad.
On top of that, raging hormones. Libido skyrocketed to the point it was uncomfortable. This can be good in some ways knowing this was the effect, but I have since then...
Stopped eating the red meat and switched to Turkey for the past 3 days. I'm going through some withdrawal symptoms but my sleep is leveling out. I'm actually able to fall asleep now.
If I do Implement grass-fed beef, I'm thinking about just doing it in the mornings, due to its stimulating effect. Anybody else have similar experiences?
It's been so hot lately that this kind of cold meal is my go to for this summer 🥵
what brands of vanilla extracts are made with with cane sugar and are readily available at most big box retailers, grocery chains?
Hi all! I've been doing paleo strictly for about 4 months now but I had a question about popcorn.
I know corn is not paleo, but I often find myself wanting popcorn (it helped me also stay in a calorie deficit).
My question is, what are your thoughts on popcorn? Do any of you eat it or allow yourself to incorporate popcorn even though it is not paleo?
I just want to know the general consensus I guess, your input would be great thanks! :)
I just read a reddit paleo post saying that a society was selling spray that give bacteria that paleo humans used to have on them and they made them not stink even if they never washed.
Due to that they oxidized amonia. Is it possible to get this bacteria without buying strange products ?
I'm trying paleo (or paleo adjacent, I've basically just cut out sugar and processed foods) as I have a 14mo highly active baby. Started at 292lbs, down to 282lbs and I only started last week.
I've done it before, lost 110lbs in total, but it fell apart with a new job where everyone ate lots of crap and then the pandemic, yadayadayada. Then with pregnancy, I find myself at 70lbs heavier than when I first started.
The biggest difficulty I'm having is lunch and snacks. Last time I didn't have any snacks, I went at it with laser focus. I'm determined to match as much of that energy as possible, though I won't be able to exercise without considerable pain for some time.
I also had chicken wrapped in bacon with veg for my lunch every day.
Now I have a new job with no microwave (they have a cafe instead, and I can't get anything from there). I want lunch and snacks I can eat cold that don't involve lettuce or pulses if I can avoid them, but I'm having difficulty finding anything. This week I've literally just been eating ham with cheese, cherry tomatoes and cucumber, with strawberries as the snack. It's not enough and I'm not full, so it's not sustainable.
Any ideas?
How am I to find fruit that our ancestors ate / that we are evolved to eat?
According to the glucose gatos, and I think the hadza, modern fruit is nothing like the fruit of our ancestors; It's much much more sweet, much much less fiber, etc.

Bonus question, we have evolved in the past 10,000 and even 100 years ... Maybe something hybridized in that time period is somewhat okay?
Edit: I'm diabetic but I'm on the verge of reversing it through weight loss. I had like four pieces of fruit this year. And I'm starting to reintroduce them. Very excited about this.
But hitting myself with mega fruit sugar and not even close to living up to the fiber of my ancestors.. I just wonder if there's a way to get sorry of like ancestral fruit. Not obsessed but I sure would like to eat right 🙂
Quarter pound grass-fed ground beef, sautéed veggies (a cauliflower rice medley + kale) in extra virgin olive oil, avocado, everything bagel seasoning, and a little sprinkle of Romano cheese.
I eat some variation of this for dinner most nights - switching out the meat, vegetables, seasonings - and it really never gets old.
