Does anyone have any advice or tips for the programming tests? I don’t feel worried about the midterm since it’s multiple choice but the idea of having to write two programs with zero notes is terrifying to me.
Has anyone taken this class before? Did you do all the assignments before the exam? Were the assignments hard to complete? Was the exam hard? I’m terrified please let me know

Hello,
Does anyone have any extra graduation tickets for sale? I need 1-2 extra. Thanks!
Hey everyone, I’m planning on attending tomorrows career fair, and was wondering if anyone has any solid tips or advice, as this will be the first one I’ve attended and I’m really just unsure of what to expect! (I already know a few of the obvious things such as dress well, research companies, bring copies of resumes.) I’m also just completely unaware of how they’re usually set up. TYIA!
I am part of a few organizations and wanted to know which ones you have found your voice in? For me it has been the National Society of Leadership and Success. Their leadership training has been helpful and I got 2 verified certificates to put on my LinkedIn. They also gave me a recommendation letter signed by their national president which helped me get a job on campus.
Got a letter that I was invited to the national society of leadership and success- it’s legit from ODU. Not sure if it’s worth joining tho. Can anyone who knows anything about it let me know
I think i left my student ID and keys yesterday at the university theater (I went to the symphony orchestra concert). I’m not local so I can’t exactly come back and look for it today, but who should I call to ask to see if it’s been found there?
And if I were to go there to look, when would it be open for me to go look?
anyone looking for friends as well? - freshman who has been having a hard time finding ppl 🥲
Hiiii my mom recently filled out the parent plus loan and the master promissory note but she told me on the application she accidentally selected herself to receive the refund is there any hope that with her permission I’ll be able to receive it? We’ve been stressing about it all week
I am graduating this December yay! Unfortunately when I registered they said you could only request up to 6 tickets. I know we won’t even get them until November but trying to plan for what family I should invite.
The website says there’s the blue room that they can stand in and might be let in if there’s extra seating. Has this worked for anyone in the past?
I plan on asking around for extras because two would be perfect but I want a backup plan if that is not to be. Is it even worth suggesting the standing room to my family?
Im a girl looking for someone who would want to swap with me anywhere in the quad single or double (im currently in a double)
I’m taking a sociology class and my professor keeps grading my work as a 0 and saying I am being dishonest by uploading work that isn’t my own?! I do all the readings, take extensive notes and write the papers myself so I’m so confused as to how this keeps happening. I literally include things from the chapters we read as specifics and mention things we discuss in class that are specific to me? I don’t understand how I could be stealing someone’s writing? Does anyone know what I can do? She asked to email to meet and I emailed but waiting for her to get back to me is killing me. I excel academically and even want a future in academia so I don’t want this to mess anything up to me, especially since I am being honest?
If while talking to a professor they say "uh-huh" a bunch of times back to back both in class and in meetings are they disinterested in what I am saying, or are they just trying to fill the silence on their end while I speak, or showing that they are interested? I view it as a "fuck you please shut up" but I could be wrong and wanted other opinions.
I am an online student. We haven’t received any communications or grades from one of my professors in over two weeks. This professor was very communicative up until that point.
At what point should I be concerned and who would I reach out to about this?
Hey y’all! New grad student and I was wondering how early they release financial aid disbursements typically? Had to buy my textbooks out of pocket and yikes 😅
Hi everyone!
I am currently a grad student and I applied to a 5k scholarship program which I was notified that I am in the final 5 to win. I wanted to know what happens if you win a scholarship after accepting Grad plus loans for the full cost of your college attendance for the year. Does that make me ineligible for institutional scholarships?
Has anybody else in work study started their work yet? I was hired to work in the mail center, but I haven’t started yet basically five weeks in because of the paperwork processing or something. I emailed them last week and all they told me is that they’ll let me know once they get my paperwork sorted out. I’m just frustrated because I’m running out of money. :/
I’m just really curious how viable this is, and if students are allowed where would they be allowed?
Hey is there a way I could tell my roommate the nicest way possible to quite down when they are on the phone. It is almost like every time I’m trying to do schoolwork they call someone and talk the loudest they can. I had to leave the dorm to finish me schoolwork. We did the whole roommate arrangement thing where we asked for it to be quiet when one of us is working, but they don’t seem to be listening to that and continue to be loud whenever I need to be quite. Is there a nice way or any tips I could get to help with this??
That caught me off guard
I am interested in possibly doing a full semester in Australia, but I don't know if I should go through with it. For anyone who has studied abroad, what is it an easy process to go through? And did you enjoy the experience?
Just wonder how it is, I have an interest in ODU and want to hear a students opinion
