As the title says, I’m looking for someone who has a felony and is attending college. I don’t care what you did, just want to interview you and get your answers on certain topics. It’s for a class project and for me to gain experience with interviews and journalism.
You will stay anonymous unless you would like for your name to be on the paper. Also, I can’t promise much, but I’ll try to compensate you for your time, we can work something out. Just reply to me in private messages.
Apart from that, I’m also looking to interview a felon who just got released, and someone currently incarcerated with a felony. If anyone knows how I can go about interviewing someone that’s still in prison, that’d be a huge help, as well as finding someone or know someone who just got released and would be willing to have a interview. If you know someone, let me know in private messages if that’s cool with you.
I need 4 and I’m willing to pay
Incoming civil engineering student, i'm interested in joining the The Summit and NSBE- How are the groups? Mostly looking for answers from people within the groups but any response is appreciated.
I have been offered admission for D.Eng cyber security at ODU. The question I have two years as an active member of the military so don’t know whether to start the program or wait after my military end of obligated service to pursue the course with my Gil bill or start now.?
Does anyone have tickets too the jmu v odu game on nov 16?
What’s the closest polling location to campus?
Hello!
I've applied to the online counseling program. I have not yet heard back. Has anyone who applied to this program heard back yet?
Thank you!
What are the best dorms at ODU? I already go this school but I’m currently commuting and I hate it so I’m going to switch to on campus housing next semester. I’m currently filling out the housing application and it’s asking me for my preferences. I know whitehurst and owens are the top choices but what about others? I also know Rodgers is kinda the worst, and I’ve actually been inside that hall a few times. If quads are the next best choices, which ones are known to be better? Also on a side note, if one of yall can answer whether or not I’d be more likely to get the dorm I want if I pick double room instead of single room that would be a tiny help but an appreciated one.
Edit: Nvmd I don’t want whitehurst I been there once and the walk was actually insane
Hello fellow redditors! I am going to be teaching an upper division philosophy of science course (PHIL 440) this coming Spring semester.
Are you looking for an option D course to take? PHIL 440 falls under option D.
Have you ever wondered how to tell the difference been real science and fake science? I've got you covered.
Ever wondered how bias affects science? We'll spend a whole unit on it.
Dying to take a college level course that discusses the relationship between science and religion? We'll spend a whole unit on that, too.
Here's one of the best things about this course. Since this is an upper level course over which I have complete control, if you sign up, you get some say in what we cover. So, if there's something you are dying to learn about, there's a possibility we can spend some time on it.
Course description posted in comments.
Hi, I’m applying for the Old Dominion for the Film school. How good is it? how in depth does it go? Is it worth it over other schools? Anyone who knows please let me know
Hey y’all,
So I planned to graduate by Spring of 2026, but I have just learned that Inorganic Chemistry, one of my requirements as a Chem Major, won’t be offered until that semester. Does anyone know of another school/community college that I could take that class at (preferably online) and transfer the credit to ODU? Thank you.
I don’t know what to do. I’m a math education major and am all signed up to student teach next semester and graduate in May. I don’t think I am going to be able to pass this one class that’s required for my degree. I just took my midterm and it was really bad. So what are my options if I fail? The class is only offered in the fall and I won’t be here anymore by like August/September next year as my husband is in the military so I need to graduate before I move.
Is anyone a business major and had to fill out a program restriction waiver form for classes? I sent out an email on the 25th, and multiple emails after that but I haven't gotten any response back. I register tomorrow and will not be able to register for anything until they respond.. its just strange because last semester I received a reply in 30 minutes, is anyone else in the same boat as me or ?
I was wondering if anyone knows how long it takes to hear a decision back about admissions into ODU global I am a little nervous because my GPA dropped when I went from community college to a University. I went from 3.4 when I was at community college to a 2.5 and my GPA didn't transfer over to my University and had to start over. I failed my first semester due to having a different major and realized I hated it and changed it to information systems but have done better in every other semester since I failed that first semester. I am just nervous even though I got a recommendation letter from the dean of my program and I already have internship experience as a junior systems analyst.
I wrote a college essay about a month ago and applied on the 25th. On the application I saw nowhere for me to enter my personal essay. I saw a spot where I could submit an essay about my achievements and accomplishments, but no where to submit a personal essay. Plus the word limit for the achievements essay was 400 words and my essay is 800 words. I really want to submit my essay because it feels like a waste to write one for no reason, is there somewhere I can submit it?
i’m just wondering if my sister will be able to get into odu with a 2.1??( Ok sat score, good essay, good teacher recommendations)
I'm preparing for registration for spring semester and I saw for gen chem 1 kalpana is the professor- I know she teaches orgo but why is she doing chem 1? Should I be worried? The other professor for chem 1 in spring is Xu (and I heard her accent makes it very hard to understand her and chemistry is already hard enough).
My main question is will I be fine with kalpana or should I switch to Xu?
I likely won't stay on campus because I don't want to but school is a 30 min commute and part of me wants the "full" college experience. I have a 14 gallon and i'm wondering if i could have it in my room without the RA on my butt.
When i checked the site i noticed they didn't list track and field as a sport and the information i can find about it is pretty limited. I checked mile stat and athletic.net as well, besides the top records, the times are pretty unremarkable. Does ODU have a real track team or not?
How’s registering going for everybody?
Anyone else having issues with MyODU portal? Whenever I click on any of the programs it just says "this page isn't working" or "Bad Request Your browser sent a request that this server could not understand." I'm kinda freaking out since spring registration is coming up. I only noticed this today since I was trying to load all of my courses into the prepare for registration feature. Registration and degreeworks are both not working and I have no idea what to do!
I’m about to graduate in a competitive field with no internship experience and have grown a disinterest in my field anyways. I’m wondering if there are any graduates that have been in my same situation. Should I consult with the Career Services? Should I list some of the skills from my coursework in my resume? I really hope I’m not going to be confined to my area of study after grad. My field is CS.
I've been exploring the Data Science & Analytics graduate degree program and comparing the two different formats ("on campus" and online). For those of you with experience with either, from what I can tell looking at all the courses for the program they all seem to be remote unless I'm missing something. If that is truly the case, what would you say is truly the difference between the two formats functionally?
I wasn't able to be outside in time for it but was wondering how it looked. It sounded nice
