Hi I came to France on vacation looking for a hookup before I go back to the United States and am wondering where I might find people interested? I am willing to meet people online and in person. I am a virgin and thought France would be the best place to find someone who could help me. I am 20 years old and live in Le Havre near docks mall.
Hello! I am planning to take my mother on a trip through Normandy this June. She unfortunately is a light and difficult sleeper, and previously had problems with a town in eastern France that had bells ringing throughout the night, every 15 minutes, preventing her from getting a night's rest. I am aware that many places have bells that ring regularly and that it is part of the culture. Would anyone be able to tell me what the Bayeux Notre Dame cathedral's bell schedule is like? We would love to stay there for part of our trip but if bells ring all night that restricts where we can stay.
Thank you for your time!

Hello!
In May I'm going by train from Brussels to Paris. As soon as I arrive I want to rent a car and go straight to Normandy (Giverny and then Rouen to sleep and continue the journey the next day).
It will be 4 days in Normandy and on the fifth day we will return to Paris where we will spend the rest of the trip.
I thought about renting the car at CDG airport (there is a train from Brussels direct to the airport).
My problem is with returning to Paris. It takes more than 4 hours to drive.
I thought about leaving the car in Rennes and taking the train to Paris. But I saw that the train is absurdly expensive, more expensive than the train from Brussels to Paris. And I saw a lot of complaints about the parking lot at the Rennes station where you can drop off your car, the ramps being super tight and poorly lit and that everyone crashes their car there.
Could you give me alternatives or ideas on where to leave the car or what to do? I wanted to avoid driving in Paris.
Ca ne vous choque pas que dès qu’il neige quelques flocons, le trafic SNCF entre Paris et la basse Normandie est complètement interrompu pendant 24h?
Hello, My name is Arman,(M22) and I am writing on behalf of myself and my wife Mahia (F19) as we navigate a challenging phase of our lives. We are asylum seekers currently living in (14000 Caen), and while we do not yet have permission to work, we are eager to contribute meaningfully to society and build a better future for ourselves.
Our journey has been one of resilience, and we are determined to make the most of every opportunity that comes our way. Both of us are hardworking, fast learners, and deeply committed to improving our French language skills. We aspire to integrate into this beautiful country and its culture while preparing for a brighter tomorrow.
I bring with me 4 years of experience as a restaurant waiter and Housekeeper. My wife is equally dedicated and passionate about helping and learning in any environment. We are both willing to volunteer, learn, or assist in ways that align with our goals and skills.
We understand the importance of community and are looking for any opportunities—be it through Any Job, volunteering or simply practicing our French with patient and kind individuals. If you or someone you know can guide us or offer advice, we would be deeply grateful.
Thank you for taking the time to read our message.
Sincerely, Armaan and Mahia

Hi! Does anyone have a list of ceremonies taking place on November 11th? The only one I can find is Juno Beach Center at 3 pm. Thanks!

3 American adults are planning a day trip via train from Paris in late December. It looks like we could arrive at either the Caen or Bayeux train station around 9 am. Is it possible to see much of the WWII sites in just one day? I know it isn't nearly enough time but it is all we have. Is there much to see at the D-Day landing beaches? Best sites to see? Is it possible to Uber between sites, or walk? Is there a good tour that isn't too touristy? And sadly, we don't speak any French. Any suggestions and advice would be very much appreciated.

Merci d'avance :)
It is important to study, preserve and revitalize the languages in danger of extinction. As they say in galés: a land without language is a land without heart (gwlad heb iaith, gwlad heb enaid). Hi everyone,
I’m planning a week-long trip in Normandy and I have a few questions about the bus services there.
I found the Atoumod app, but I can’t download the Atoumod m-ticket app from my country now.
Could anyone please provide information on how payments work for buses in the region?
Thanks in advance for any help!
