Any good neighborhoods to take kiddos trick or treating in newnan? We went downtown this morning but want to take our 2 year old out again
I moved here in the beginning of January right before I turned 18. Now I turn 20 in a few months and still haven't really met anybody outside of coworkers.
Went to a college event that was advertised to be a big Halloween event for students at the campus in Douglasville today but it ended up just being a small event with the only activities being stuff meant for kids.
I want to actually enjoy this Halloween. Every Halloween before this one I've basically just been a babysitter (oldest of 11 and was homeschooled) and this will be the first Halloween i can actually just do stuff.
Recently moved to the area a few weeks ago, I used to shop almost wholly at Trader Joes, but really don't feel like the hour long commute one-way is worth it. Where do yall get your fresh produce? Any particularly good farmers markets?
I love to cook but I’m having difficulties finding the right stores to go grocery shopping at. I just moved here and every time I grocery shop my bill comes to over $100 and it only lasts a few days. I don’t know what I’m doing wrong. Below are my criteria:
Please help. Any advice is welcomed.
So I know this past weekend there was some early Halloween happenings (Line Creek, Alamo, BTN) but I was wondering if anything is happening Thursday in Newnan, PTC, or Senoia. Nothing too wild or late since it’s a work night but some sort of festive fun. Also, I’m free most of Thursday & was looking for a pickleball group or a bowling league to join. Any input on those for a 47yr old novice bowler and pickleball player? UPDATE: I see HOP has open courts in the mornings. Hopefully someone will be there for pick up games. I used to play at the YMCA when I lived in Washington. They had a league and you could just jump on courts for pick up games with folks most all the time.
Hi all! I’m a 18 year old women whose been trying to make friends! I’m in Senoia but have lived in Sharpsburg & Newnan. I have a fiance but he’s kinda my only interaction besides some of my roommates lol, I didn’t get a chance to make friends in HS because I was going through a lot and switching around different county schools for a while and now that I’ve moved out I really really want a group of friends to be apart of, specifically friend groups that aren’t entirely men as that’s all I have rn. I really like crochet, nature, cats, and video games. Also into interior decor. :)
Hello, I’m Tanner(23M) I just moved to Newnan last month and looking for a campaign to join/create. Please let me know if you know anyone or any way I can find a group. All in just interested in making some friends and something to look forward to in the week/2 weeks. Thanks😁
Have to say, the new place to vote early is working quite nicely. Got in and out today in 15 minutes - at lunchtime. Kudos to all the workers who are braving it and doing the good work. And can I add that it’s great to see an abandoned big box kind of place (old movie theater) turned into a usable space for our community? Well done.
Finally, I got out to chase the Comet! Tomorrow night, I'll get further outside the city as I ended up just south of Newnan for tonight. Got some practice in with different exposures, and I am ready to go, skies willing, for tomorrow night!
This is a rough edit with Lightroom on my phone from a picture I took with my Canon. Tomorrow night, I'll do a multi-image exposure and stack it to bring it out better!
Camera: Canon R7 Lens: Canon 50mm Exposure: 5s f/3.5 ISO 400
^(I passed the bar and am now trying to find out how to get sworn in. I graduated from a law school in another state years ago so I'm not one of the recent grads getting their hand held by their school through this process. Yes, I know, Superior Court Judge, but if everyone just goes to the mass swearing in in Fulton these local non-Fulton judges and their clerks seem like they don't know what to do.)
i am really looking for new friends in the area. i just moved here about two years ago and its been hard making more friends because i am doing college online :( im 18, and i love things like music, cooking, arts and crafts, horror films etc! does anyone know an easy way to socialize and make friends around here? comment below and i am willing to share my socials! thanks:)
Hello all, under contract for a new house and trying to decide against WOW and Spectrum which are the only two interest providers in the new subdivision.
Spectrum would cost per month $30 for 100mbps, $50 for 500mbps, or $70 for 1gbps. WOW would be $25 for 300mbps, $40 for 600mbps, or $55 for 1gbps.
Anyone have any experience with reliability? Seems like WOW is obviously like a better value but that doesn’t mean anything if it’s not connected half the time.
Thank you!
Hello everyone, looking for some advice here if you could help me out.
I recently opened an amusement center in Newnan and we're looking for ideas on how best to get the word out. It's a bit different in Newnan than other cities since it's not allowed to really do yard signs or anything of that nature, which is understandable, so I was wondering what the best methods are you've seen work here.
We're already doing a lot of online advertising and it's getting good traction, but has been a bit slow to start off. Just looking for ideas :) Not sure if posting the website is allowed, so I'm leaving that out since this post is geared more toward seeking information rather than marketing.
Thank you!
I'm a mobile notary public business trying to get my name out there so if there are public places that will allow you to put your business cards, y'all know any? I've seen some at planet smoothie & foxtail coffee for example. Do i just call to ask for permission or something?
Hosting a get-together on Saturday and need a good wing place to get food from.
Hi all,
Moving to Newnan next month and I'd love some insight in good gyms, ideally with childcare. Any recommendations are helpful 😊
Hi all. Moving to GA next year and considering Newnan. I’m in my mid 30s, so is my husband and we also have an infant son. What areas of Newnan would you recommend and not recommmed ? Any insider info? Thanks!
Need someone to vibe with
Hello, our family moved to Palmetto (North Coweta) two months ago. I have two kids, ages 8 and 3, who love staying active. I might be overlooking something, but are there any public playgrounds in North Coweta? So far, I've only seen private HOA playgrounds in the area.
Also, if you know of any good places where my eight-year-old daughter can make new friends, I’d really appreciate it. She misses her friends in Colorado and often talks about wanting to move back.
I’m dumb and can’t figure out how to insert a link on my iPad, but the Newnan Times Herald had an article about a person named Shannon Marietta who is challenging voters’ legitimacy. I hope they can settle this fairly and quickly. It seems like something out of Animal Farm. Is it designed to slow or befuddle our county’s voting process? Do you think there are 878 fake voters out there?
I have everything ready just need a fighter
Moving to the area in October and wondering what phone carrier people recommend? We have Verizon but it's pricey and if other carriers work well we might switch. Just putting out feelers 😇
I’ve got a pair of Ferragamo loafers that desperately need to be professionally polished but Google didn’t get me very far. Anyone have somewhere that they recommend?
I need a men’s suit for a wedding in a few weeks. Any local places that can take care of me? I’ve used Men’s Wearhouse about a decade ago and it was … fine, but I rather support a local business.
i know Johnny's Pizza but anything else?
Hey guys, I recently moved; any good clothing stores or tips to save for the Labor Day deals? Thanks in advance!
Hi yall! Are there any apartments in or around newnan with elevators? Each place I call says they don’t
